Wired and The Town Of Light :
For Wired Productions, there has been no game that has had a bigger impact to the business greater than The Town of Light. It changed not only the type of game Wired signs, but really kick started a movement within the company that led to some of the team co-founding the now global video games mental health charity Safe In Our World. From the first time the publishing team played a demo of title, they were shocked, in awe and knew instantly that this was a game that needed to be played. This challenged the whole team to evaluate the Games Wired scouts, changing truly to finding indie games that deserved more players, who needed support to get their story told. Its deep routes in historic facts, its personal story and the way it truly made the player think, long after gameplay had finished, was like nothing the team had played. It’s journey to publishing saw the teams collaborate on video shoots, press tours of the very really building in Tuscany, Italy and a global campaign to raise player awareness around mental health. Close to 5 years later, Wired and LKA collaborated again with the release of Martha Is Dead, a title than continues the almost cinematic story telling the studio has now become famous for - which you can visit on Steam here to learn more about
