It is difficult to put into words just how grateful we are for your continued support and love of The Life and Suffering world!
We also see how many people around the world want to enjoy the game's story in their native tongue, and have even received multiple offers from the community, expressing the desire to help translate their beloved title. Indeed, expanding language support is an important step towards making The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante more accessible to everyone on planet Earth.
The problem that we run into with the standard localization process is in the details: our game is too large in terms of text volume, being, in fact, a veritable novel with many separate plots, tons of lore, intertwining storylines, and wildly different player choice consequences. Translating all this is a long, complex, and painstaking process. Therefore, we feel certain that no one can handle this task better than the devoted fans of our game's universe.
This is why we are now open to your localization assistance offers! If you are…
- fluent in any language that the game has not been translated into;
- possess exceptional writing and literary skills in the chosen language;
- already familiar with the game's world and know your way around the terminology and lore;
- unafraid of large (in fact, truly colossal!) volumes of text that can take a lot of time to go through…
Finally, if you are absolutely confident in your ability to complete what you started, we will be happy to consider your candidacy!
Please submit an application by filling out this short form: https://forms.gle/wHBFyhSspMLT7xKq6
Note that we accept applications not only for The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante, but also the next game in the series, The Life and Suffering of Prince Jerian (the application form is shared between both titles).
All applications will be carefully reviewed, and we will try to consider every proposal from those expressing a desire to help expand the project's language support.
All contributors will be included in the respective game's credits as soon as the translation into the new language is complete and integrated into the game (Unless they wish to remain anonymous, of course).
Thank you for the active participation in the community's life and the aspiration to help make our games more widely accessible! We look forward to hearing from you all.
