In response to some common community questions, we've wrote an FAQ to try and address common players issues and questions regarding The Fisherman - Fishing Planet.
What is The Fisherman - Fishing Planet?
The Fisherman - Fishing Planet is an alternate version of Fishing Planet, featuring all of the DLC available in the current game, with a reworked progression system, changes to the license system, a reworked leveling experience, and more changes. It's designed to offer an alternative to the current edition of Fishing Planet for new players who perhaps don't enjoy the F2P model or for fans looking to own all of the content available in the game.
Since these are separate versions of the game, the character profiles and multiplayer servers are kept separate. If you already own everything in the regular version of Fishing Planet, then we'd recommend you keep enjoying that experience.
