Party Presets - Favored Quest
It is now possible to assign a Favored Quest to a party preset. Whenever a Favored Quest is selected, the default party will be chosen among those with that quest as favorite, provided the team is rested and ready to go.
Mega Dungeon Content Pass
Troublins tremble! The Mega Dungeon Content Pass has come! It features blueprints themed around our many dungeons, with the Troublin Bento as the Grand Prize. Complete tasks to collect Emblems and unlock all this content!
Super Dungeoneers can work towards the Dungeon Master title, unlocked only by completing every single task of the event.
The Mega Dungeon Content Pass will run for two weeks, starting on September 10th and ending on September 25th.
Major Changes
Break System Refactor
Previously, the Break system was a needlessly complex matter. To put it simply, items would roll to break every round, making it very punishing for low damage parties, even if they could otherwise reliably tank their way to victory. It made for a very uneven experience across players which could be very frustrating, particularly during the Lost City of Gold event.
As of now, each quest instead has a specific amount of Break attempts it will do among items owned by quest survivors. Items can resist these break attempts with their Break Chance, with item quality, the Engineer and similar bonuses applying as normal.
As an added bonus, very early quests no longer break items (or have very low break chance) to ease in new players and allow them to stockpile repair kits.
Optimization
Memory usage footprint from textures reduced by approximately 30% and app size by around 10%.
Minor Changes
- When visiting a guildmate’s shop and their game version differs from yours, the message now more accurately explains what’s going on.
- Aurasongs can now break. Familiars were (and remain) unbreakable to avoid gruesome implications, but this immunity was extended to Aurasongs by default due to them also being Champion items.
- If you haven’t played in a while, the King may show up at your counter. This will generate a notification on your phone, which can be enabled or disabled from your Settings.
- Added visual indicators to specify which quest a chest is from in the Chest Opening screen.
- Adjusted the "Repair" button on the item break screen to display both the repair cost and the total amount of repair kits a player has.
- Adjusted the text of some Ascension Milestones bonuses from "Tier >N" to "Tier N+" for clarity.
- Clarified Slot rewards in Content Passes to better show which slot is being unlocked.
- Standardized the language used for Cancel/Exit/None buttons across multiple UIs.
- The 23rd quest upgrade of every quest has been replaced with -20% item breaks. The XP bonus it replaces has been added to the 21st upgrade.
Balance Changes
- Rudo now provides a general Break Chance Reduction bonus to the party, no longer limited to the first rounds of the battle. At max rank, it is 50%.
King Schedule
King Reinhold will be available as a Guest Champion on September 16th, leaving on the 19th.

Bounty Rebalance
Bounties have been in a weird place for a long time, best described as “tiresome”. They ask for highly specific crafts that rarely overlap with the current goals of the player, forcing them to choose between progress and bounty completion.
As part of this refactor, we’ll be introducing a greater variety of tasks. They are inspired by those found in Content Passes, such as “craft 100 tiers of bows” rather than “Craft 10 Gemini Strike”.
