Hello detectives,

Its been a touch over two weeks since the release of Sherlock Holmes The Awakened. We waited with bated breath to see your reactions - and we were positively taken back by them. We have read the reviews, the tweets, and comments across the online verse and in our inboxes. We saw countless gameplay streams, screenshots, and all the excitement as you experience a story that is dear to our hearts. We cheer when you solve a complex puzzle, or when you comment that a particular level, character, or line of dialogue is your favourite. Seeing how well received The Awakened is made us proud that we were able to deliver a game that you all enjoyed playing. We can’t thank you enough for the support and love shown.

To say the development of this has been hell due to circumstances beyond our control, would be an understatement. At the start of 2022, we had planned to create a totally different game, one that would require everyone in the office to collaborate - as we always do. The war came and tore apart that dream. As being artists and world-creators is our way of life, we used our creativity to readjust to keep ourselves continuing while living through the horror. In the midst of blackouts, sirens blaring, and explosions nearby, we found solace inside the story of Sherlock Holmes The Awakened. A story of one man bent on bringing otherworldly horror to the rest of the world (and who says that art doesn’t imitate life?). Creating this game for you, our fans, kept us going through tough times.

Now that Sherlock Holmes The Awakened is in your hands, we couldn’t be more proud of seeing how everyone is experiencing it in their own way. You gave us the kick to chase our next dream game project, and so that is where we are heading towards. More on that at the right time.
