Contest
One artwork will be picked as the key album art, which will be displayed most prominently.
If there are enough submissions, we may pick 4 act-specific or 8 chapter-specific album covers which will be embedded into the individual music files throughout the game.
Other good artworks can be chosen as secondary album covers which will get displayed in other places like the Soundtrack Steam Store page or YouTube Video releases.
We want to encourage artists to submit as many artworks as possible! We want to honor as many submissions as we can. Everyone can be a winner!
Guidelines / Rules
These rules must be followed for a submission to be eligible
- NO AI IMAGE GENERATION!
- No human depictions of Stirling or Conly (We love seeing fanart like this but we don't want to officially lock in a human look for these characters)
- Sign your artwork in the bottom right corner with a tasteful size and visibility (Your submission won't be disqualified if you forget this. We'll contact you in case there is a problem)
- Submit at a minimum of 1500x1500 pixels resolution
- Image must be perfectly square
Best Practices
Here are some hints to what we're looking for. Feel free to experiment and be creative, these are just some pointers
- Make sure the cover is somewhat readable when scaled down a bit (No need to optimize as much as for a logo though)
- Painted / Drawn artstyle. Avoid 3D renders or styles like it
- Illustrate a moment, character or object that made an impression on you
