Currently, the RIFTSTORM team is putting the finishing touches on preparations for tomorrow’s Alpha Playtest. We’re excited to make sure everything goes perfectly so you can fully enjoy playing RIFTSTORM. Also, I want to let you know that our Alpha Demo page is now LIVE. In preparation for our playtest, I want to let you know that RIFTSTORM is just the tip of the iceberg in our sprawling Occultical universe. Set within this vast world, RIFTSTORM connects to Confiction Labs' growing ecosystem of games, media, and more. To access exclusive media, rewards, and other products within our ecosystem, we invite you to join our Portal.
What is a Portal?
The Portal is where community members, fans, and players can delve into the world of Occultical and Collaborative Entertainment. Designed as a nexus for media, content, and exclusive rewards, the Portal invites all users to become a part of the Mythic Protocol.
During this Alpha Playtest, you’ll have the chance to get exclusive skins and more rewards just by playing RIFTSTORM and completing the playtest mission arc. Available only to early participants (only last from 16 October to 30 October PT).
You’ll collect Protocol Points by finishing assignments in-game which can be claimed through the assignment's dashboard. These points act as a valuable currency within the Confiction Labs ecosystem, providing players with the ability to unlock and redeem future rewards.
What are the protocol points?
Protocol points refer to the points given to the users in our Portal for completing quests. These protocol points can later be redeemed for future rewards (i.e. exclusive alternative Weaver skins, access to new media, in-game rewards, and more). Protocol Points are accumulated through the completion of in-game and ecosystem-related assignments.
