On December 18, 2021, [i][b]Hades[/b][/i] earned the first-ever [url=http://www.thehugoawards.org/hugo-history/2021-hugo-awards/]Hugo Award for Best Video Game[/url]! This one was special even among all the wonderful accolades our game has received. The [b]Hugo Awards[/b] are legendary in the world of fantasy and science fiction media, and date back to the early 1950s. Best Novel winners over the years include iconic works such as [i]The Man in the High Castle[/i], [i]Dune[/i], [i]Neuromancer[/i], and [i]American Gods[/i], among many more. Yet this was the very first year the Hugos included a Best Video Game category, so it's all the more reason we were deeply grateful and honored that our game earned the distinction out of all the nominees. We hope the Hugos continue to recognize great works of fantasy and science fiction in this medium!
