We're excited to announce our first major update since the game's launch, which incorporates numerous enhancements, bug fixes, and balance adjustments based on feedback from our community.
Improvements & Changes
- Lair Organization: Rooms in the lair can now be auto-arranged via the Ancestors’ Hall.
- Exploration Flexibility: Players can now visit all previously scouted locations within the current region, removing the previous limitation of only 3 random locations.
- Weapon Cost Adjustment: Costs for higher-tier weapons have been revised for better balance.
- Merchant Inventory Expansion: Merchants encountered during adventures now offer a comprehensive selection of materials.
- Lair Modification: It is no longer possible to demolish rooms in the lair.
- Construction and Upgrades: Room construction and upgrades are now instantaneous, eliminating the previous one-day wait.
- Goblin List Enhancements: The goblin list view now displays mortally wounded goblins, soul values, and Body/Mind/Spirit attributes.
- Idle Animations: Added new animations for idle goblins in the lair.
- Minimap: Removed the exploration percentage indicator.
- Enemy Reduction in Chapter 1: Decreased the number of enemies to improve game pacing.
- Ability Descriptions: Enhanced clarity of Guard and Hunter abilities' descriptions.
- UI Improvements: Enhanced the loading performance of the Goblin Roster List UI.
- Boss Battle Balancing: Adjusted the balance of certain story boss battles.
- Cutscene and Battle Enhancements: Introduced additional animations for characters in cutscenes and battles, and improved narrative pacing in some cutscenes.
- Surprise Battles: Early levels in the Hinterlands will now feature surprise encounters. Bug Fixes
- Aspect Ratio Support: Improved compatibility with 32:9 aspect ratio displays; 16:9 remains the recommended ratio.
- Zero Attributes: Rescued but corrupted goblins no longer appear in the lair with zero attributes.
- Loading Screen Bug: Resolved an issue causing indefinite loading screens when entering battles.
- Artifact Pricing: Corrected buy and sell prices for artifacts.
- Tooltip Text: Added missing text for various tooltips.
- Warrens Interaction: Fixed the breed button in the Warrens to prevent unintended actions.
- UI and Pause Menu: Resolved an issue where opening the Pause Menu affected UI animations.
- Movement in Swamp Biome: Eliminated terrain obstructions preventing goblin movement.
- Cutscene Skipping: Addressed a bug causing the game to freeze if the Rat King cutscene is skipped.
- Lair Room Placement: Corrected errors with lair room placement during reorganization.
- Barracks Full: Fixed a misleading indication that the barracks were full when they were not.
- Visual and Sound Effects: Addressed various visual effects (VFX) and animation issues, reduced the volume of flies SFX, and added missing sound effects (SFX).
- Scroll Sensitivity: Lowered scroll sensitivity in some UI menus for better control.
- Shrine Blessings: Fixed an issue where shrine blessings were incorrectly applied to enemies.
- Soul Allocation: Resolved problems with soul allocation for retiring veteran goblins.
- Visual Glitches: Fixed multiple visual issues across different biomes and after surprise battles.
- Quest Rewards: Ensured quest rewards are properly distributed.
- New Game+ Issues: Addressed issues encountered when starting New Game+.
- Localization: Improved Simplified Chinese localization.
- Miscellaneous: Made numerous other minor fixes and improvements.
