Known Issues
Friends List - “how do I group up with my friends?”
The only way to group up with your friends when in different strongholds - is to use Fellowship’s in-game Friends List feature.
- The Friends List is the green icon in the bottom right corner of your screen.
- Add friends by using the Friend Code generated in the Fellowship’s Friend’s List feature. For this build, you will need to send that code to your friend using an external chat program.
- The Friends List does not indicate that players are outside of your region. Party members playing in different regions will never be put into the same Stronghold. When starting a mission, all players in a party will be put into a dungeon server in the Party Leaders region. This can lead to high ping or latency issues if the host is playing in a different region than you.
- The Friends List will display your friend as offline if they are not in the game or logged. (Ignores Steam)
- Friends List uses a placeholder hero icon until a friend switches heroes.
- Friends List will use a generic Fellowship icon if it cannot access the player’s Steam icon.
Party
- Party Frames do not update to include players outside of your Stronghold server. Reference the big ‘Party Portraits’ in the top left corner of your screen while you are in the Stronghold for the source of truth for who is in your party.
- It is possible to be invited to a new party while currently in a party. Accepting the invite will remove you from your current party.
Game Finder
- Players can find/host a Dungeon at a difficulty below the unlock difficulty level.
- This can lead to long waits for Dungeon queues, because players on lower difficulties cannot access those dungeons.
- We suggest players find/host dungeons at higher difficulties than they are unlocked at.
- Cithrel’s Ascent (+3)
- Demonbrand Ruins (+4)
- Wraithtide Isle (+6)
- Potential Rewards will suggest that Set Items can drop from Adventures. They do not.
- Next Unlock section will vanish when there is not an Unlock for completing the next available difficulty.
- Button Glows seem to ‘hop’ up when clicked.
- Premade groups cannot play quickplay if they defy holy trinity party composition (1 Tank, 1 Healer, 2 Damage Dealers). Groups wanting to make experimental party comps should ‘Host Game’ with a full group.
Settings
Graphic Settings
- Auto-Save and Auto-Apply are behaving strangely. Keep them toggled on.
- With this, Graphic Settings will automatically apply (Apply and Cancel do nothing).
- Auto-Detect button cannot be trusted to detect the ideal Graphic Settings for you. Do not use it!
Talent Tree
- The text description suggests that players need to complete a specific difficulty to unlock.
- This is misleading because players only ‘Unlock’ new features by completing the Next Unlock track visible in the Game Finder.
- Example: To unlock the first row of talents players need to complete equal or higher than a +0, +1, and +2. You cannot be carried through a +2 to immediately unlock these. You’ll need to complete a minimum of 3x missions to access.
Map
- Training Dummies suggest they offer 100% killscore. Do not be misled… There is no killscore in the Stronghold.
- Some filters are misnamed or not functioning in the Stronghold.
- Bosses may not be visible if they are far away from you when you open the Map.
HUD Edit Mode
- Several HUD elements are only editable in an Adventure/Dungeon, while others are only editable within Stronghold.
- Some HUD elements have unusually sized boxes that do not depict the actual size of the correlating HUD UI.
General UI
- Several UI windows will ‘jitter’ when opened.
- Several UI windows will not auto-close when another window is opened. They will reopen themselves when another UI window is closed.
- This can lead to several instances of UI existing simultaneously behind each other.
- Simply closing these windows with the [X] button in the UI will close them.
- UI Windows do not close when changing characters.
- This can lead to broken UI when changing heroes if you have not closed UI windows prior.
- In the Stronghold, player names above the heroes head do not adjust their height. This is most noticeable while observing mounted heroes. (Especially Tariq)
- Tutorial Quests will not disappear until you interact with their specific interactable object in the Stronghold, even though you can access all UI through the bottom right Quick Access Menu.
- After receiving a Mount, the Mailbox will suggest you have mail, when you do not.
- Opening the Hero Sheet and the Hero Select at the same time will break the view model rigs for heroes in the Hero Select screen - thus creating truly unhinged abominations.
