We have news! Autumn has come, which means that forced conscription into the Russian army begins. A member of our team, Block Icy will go to the army in October. His responsibilities will be transferred to the rest of the team, but the development process of the game will slow down somewhat.
In addition, despite this sudden and dire news, I am pleased to inform you that the game is growing. Not so long ago, we decided that the game will definitely have a co-op, and the locations will be slightly larger than we planned earlier. All this in the coupe makes me tell you that the game's release is being pushed to early 2022. It will come later, but bigger, and here's why:
Plant growth simulation
We are trying to make the plant grow naturally. So that leaves grow from bunches, and the stems are formed gradually. This will allow you not only to shoot cool timelapse video of growth, but also to detail the process of plant care. Each branch of cannabis will be susceptible to diseases that will spread. The system is not finished yet, so I can't show something enough pretty for you.
Cooperative
I've always paid more attention to co-op games, because, in my opinion, they are much more fun. We started developing a cooperative game system. It requires more knowledge and time, but it will definitely have a positive effect on the game experience. Already now we were able to make a local connection to each other via Steam., the most difficult thing is in the future - synchronization of objects and events between the players.
Locations
We are working on creating several locations that will be filled with characters and events. On the Steam screenshots, you saw bright locations, but we will also have gloomy ones. One of these is an abandoned industrial zone. It is filled with homeless people and drug addicts. An unpleasant place, but sometimes business makes you appear in worse places. We want to make it as juicy as the rest locations, but more sinister, it will take time to do it, so, don't get bored while we work! Pray for legalise in Russia and have a nice day!
