Our mission took us on a quest to locate and destroy newly emerged portals. In the southern region of Nytheria, we stumbled upon a guarded portal under the watch of the Athar. After defeating them and obliterating the portal, we uncovered a fragment of a key.
Bigby speculated that this key fragment could be tied to Aoskar, the god of portals, who met his demise at the hands of the Lady of Pain. It appears that the Athar may have come across treasures from Aoskar's temple, granting them mysterious teleportation abilities.
Moving northward in Nytheria, we confronted more Athar members, demolished another portal, and acquired a second key fragment. The Athar accused us of disrupting their plan to harness Aoskar's power in order to vanquish the Lady of Pain.
Finally, in western Nytheria, we discovered the last portal within an Athar outpost. The Athar aimed to demonstrate that gods are merely powerful mortals. Their scheme involved utilizing an artifact known as the "Key to Myriad Doors" to control Sigil's portals. Pursued relentlessly, they attempted to transport the artifact to other planes to expand their influence.
