Hello Deconstructors! ????
The previous devlogs made you ask us about the warehouse. ???? It was a place mentioned on different occasions and today, we’d like to shed some light on its functions and in-game features it offers. Not only it allows you to store the recycled goods but also manage the entire business! ????
It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that the warehouse is the beating heart of your business. There are many different things you can do inside so let’s start with what we’ve already mentioned in the truck devlog.
Once your truck arrives at the warehouse, all the goods and materials you’ve collected have to be unloaded manually. ✋ This means that you’ll have to sort them and find them a suitable place on the shelves. To help you maintain the order inside your warehouse there are indicators showing what’s stored on each particular storage shelf. ???? It’s a division based on different categories, some of which are:
-furniture
-wood
-plasterboard
Let’s move to the management part, shall we? Inside the warehouse there is an additional area designated as your office. It’s a place with a simple but smart design which is a perfect workplace for a person running this kind of business. The most important tool at your disposal is the computer. ???? It provides you with different functions and the most important ones are:
- contract management,
- order management,
- tool store,
- warehouse upgrade system,
Although every single one of the aforementioned functions is important, the most vital one to grow your business is undoubtedly the warehouse upgrade system. ???? It allows you to gain additional space which results in being able to complete bigger orders. Naturally, bigger orders mean more money and the more money you earn, the more you can spend on better contracts to reclaim pricier, better quality materials and furniture. ????
As you can see, it’s a nice system which is easy to understand. It doesn’t mean that you have to go for the biggest tasks as soon as possible. You can make money on every single commission and it’s up to you to find the ones providing you with the most satisfaction and fun in the process.
