Seit einer Woche tauchten immer wieder Count-Down Zahlen auf der offiziellen Seite von 11bit Studios auf. Das erst vor kurzem gegründete Studio wollte so auf ihren neuen Mix aus Echtzeitstrategie und Arcade effektvoll aufmerksam machen. Nun ist die Katze aus dem Sack, denn mit Anomaly: Warzone Earth präsentieren die Polen ihr erstes Werk, das für den PC, für das iPad und das iPhone erscheinen soll.

Commander! Get the hell over here! What units are you taking into the battle? You're sure? All right. Start your engines, boys. What formation are you taking? APCs in the front? Good idea. Continous fire at the front guard just might help us break through their defenses.
What about tactics? Take the first left down that street, then curl around behind that mosque. Then you want to attack them from the rear? Hmm... not bad. Not a bad idea at all.
All right. Stay cool, commander. You'll have to support the squad on the ground yourself. Get me some goddamned information on those machines. Any questions? No? Fine. Good luck. Dismissed.
Dies soll nun tatsächlich ein Auszug aus dem Intro des Spiels sein. Zur Geschichte sei kurz erwähnt, in Anomaly: Warzone Earth nahm man erst an, dass ein Komet geradewegs auf die Erde stürzen wollte, doch im letzten Moment erkannte man, das es sich hierbei nicht um einen Kometen handelte, sondern um Überreste einer außerirdischen Art, die nun nach dem Aufprall eigenartige Anomalien hervorruft.
