Laut einer Pressemitteilung von Microsoft wird der lang ersehnte Titel Alan Wake nun eine Woche eher in Europa erscheinen, als erst angekündigt.So erscheint Alan Wake schon am 14. Mai 2010 exklusiv für XBox 360 in Europa. Exklusiv deswegen, weil erst vor ein paar Wochen bestätigt wurde, das die angekündigte PC Version nun nicht mehr umgesetzt werden wird. Laut Entwickler sei die XBox 360 die einzige Plattform, die dem Titel angemessen gerecht werden kann.
Zumal das Spiel schon vor über fünf Jahren angekündigt worden war, kann unter vorgehaltener Hand, davon ausgegangen werden, das die Umsetzung für den PC, den Rahmen des Budget überstiegen hätte.
Traurig in anbetracht der Tatsache, das als Publisher kein geringer als Mircosoft selbst sich verantwortlich zeichnet.
