We also appreciate all the suggestions. Our cat ears are open, and just like a good wrestler, we listen to the crowd. We’re managing everything in batches and prioritizing backward from risk and impact on the game. The team is committed to making this game do its push-ups so it gets stronger and stronger.
Expect some improvements and polish soon, including:
- Adjustments to the run speed to put some spice in Muchacho Man’s step.
- The game has several toggles for combat, including Max Damage, Invincibility, Slow QTEs, and Auto-pinning. However, we feel these were not adequately communicated, so we’ll add some in-game messaging to highlight them.
- Our goal with the button prompts during combat was to keep players engaged and to make your attacks feel more impactful. However, many people prefer a combat experience without button prompts or QTEs. Therefore, we’re adding an option to Auto-win ALL button prompts and QTEs, not just those related to pinning.
- Additional quest markers to help wayfinding at certain points of the story.
- Improvements to combat UI, including better enemy health bars and hype meter improvements.
- Better autosave triggers at key moments and before critical battles.
- Cursor Memory during combat to make targeting easier than ever.
- A slew of bug fixes and corrections.
- Several other QoL improvements to menus and UI to make the experience smoother than ever!
This is the roadmap as it stands, as complete as we have at the moment, and it's being actively updated daily. We’ll be back next month with an update to our plan, and let you know in the meantime as these improvements make their way into WrestleQuest.
