First of all, we would like to thank you all for your support, constructive criticism, and help in such a challenging task as launching a project with a major update on a new platform.
During the process, we encountered numerous issues, and our team is actively working on resolving them.
We have just released a small hotfix (version 11665), which addresses some of the critical problems:
- During cooperative play, clients were losing resources after leaving the session and reconnecting via invites or the friends list.
- Some quests were being blocked if the host player was in depot construction mode and the client was performing a certain quest task (quests for obtaining the Winch, Rofleemo Bed, Throwing Rings).
- The absence of beards for male characters in the customization menu under certain conditions has been fixed.
- In depot locations, special Kill volumes have been added that kill AI even if they are located under the location for some reason.
And right now we are already preparing the next hotfixes, but we want to highlight separately what we will do first:
- Online multiplayer (inability to connect and open sessions or see other sessions) - we are trying to find a solution that would reduce the impact of high ping and poor internet connection, and at the same time, we are investigating the reason why in some cases the game does not show sessions or allow opening sessions on the first try. Also, as a temporary solution that helps in some cases - if your accounts were synchronized in the game settings, try unbinding and binding them again.
- Head bobbing - unfortunately, we are not able to solve this quickly, but we have started improving character movement animations so that the option to turn head bobbing on and off becomes available, and we will try to deliver this to you as soon as possible.
- Blocking of the quest with the location "Hangar" under certain actions.
- Blocking of the first quest with the Outpost, in which some AI could be missing from the location (temporarily this can be resolved by save/load - after loading, the quest will be completed and continue within 3 seconds.)
