Ich habe 12 Stunden versucht, Krater auf Planeten nach Kollisionen sichtbar zu machen. Ich habe das vor allem mit der Erde versucht. Die Oberfläche der Erde zeigt auch keine Erhebungen bei mir. In den Chats und im Internet habe ich nichts gefunden, nur in Videos habe ich gesehen, dass es die Krater mal gab.

Ich habe dann versucht, das Spiel rückerstattet zu bekommen. Das wurde aber zweimal einfach mit einer automatischen Nachricht abgelehnt, weil ich schon 12 Stunden gespielt habe. Das hat mich geärgert, da man extra in einer Box schreiben kann, warum man die Rückerstattung beantragt und diese dann nicht gelesen wird.

Man kann nur allen raten, sich Spiele sofort rückerstatten zu lassen, wenn sie nicht gleich ok sind. Sehr kundenfreundlich ist das nicht.

Falls mir irgendjemand einen Tipp geben kann, wäre ich froh darüber.

Ich finde, dass das Spiel sehr großes Potential hat. Es macht eigentlich Spaß und man lernt auch was über Anstronomie. Ich empfehle dieses Spiel weiter!

Very fun, and it is updated frequently. You'll probably spend a lot of your time destroying planets and dismantling entire star systems. You may also be like me and create your own star systems and create habitable planets! Either way, it's worth the buy.

I like how Universe Sandbox really tests my Ryzen 5950X. One of those games/simulations that can really get a CPU going.

I love how the development team continues to update and improve all aspects of Universe Sandbox and continue to press forward with crazy new content and enhancements year after year.

Very realistic actually, got to experiment and see what it's like to have fire blowing out the side of my PC case after colliding a bunch of galaxies together and repeatedly shooting asteroids towards earth. The smell was interesting and a few strands of leg hair caught on fire, but I don't mind a bit of heat so that's fine. Although I would like to say that I have just one tiny little qualm about the game and that is the fact that I have to write this review on my phone. I prefer writing on a PC.

8/10 Would like to try again if possible, for longer next time :)

This is an honest and actual review. This game has lots of possibilities for simulations of different planets and stars and stuff, and it's genuinely fun for the first few minutes! but then it gets less and less fun, there's not much to do. And SO LITTLE AMOUNTS AND VARIATIONS OF PLANETS! There are no solar systems you can spawn, BUT YOU CAN SPAWN GALAXIES?! I think this game needs a lot more work to be done on it, so, I'm sorry for this review, but I don't think i'd recommend this game (for now) and instead play Kerbal Space Program or something. But when this game is complete, it will be no sandbox.. it'll be the whole playground.

Universe Sandbox is a physics+planetary+stellar physics simulator — not a true 'game'*

* – though you could certainly define your own solitaire or multiplayer rules for turning it into a game, for local (non-networked) play.

Before purchasing Universe Simulator², you should be comfortable with the fact that this is a realistic simulation of planetary and stellar Newtonian physics, and not a game per-se (though you could easily come up with rules for what goals of a game might be). It is also single-person… there is no network “play” of this game, though you could certainly share out a view of what you’re doing via Zoom or Skype network video broadcasting if you like.

While it’s immediate and immense fun to smash moons, planets, suns, and black holes together, as a “deep” simulation of Newtonian physics, I find this app wonderful for teaching 3rd graders on up with basic physics concepts well in advance of the mathematical calculus encapsulated in Newton’s Laws of Motion (combined with Newton’s Gravitational Law). The simulation parameters not only cover Newtonian mechanics over macroscopic (not molecular nor quantum) distance scales, but are also fairly accurate; not 100% accurate as that would require supercomputing capabilities of even small systems… but good enough to demonstrate interactions and planetary science effects without affording 100% accurate ‘predictive’ accuracies.

For youngsters, I tend to focus on what might occur within our solar system (such as Jupiter becoming a binary sun at about 80 solar masses, or the Sun similarly becoming a black hole). But the wealth of existing simulations, such as I hope will include a simulation of the stellar group tightly orbiting the radio source known as Sgr A*, presumed to be a supermassive black hole of ~4.5 million solar masses which I hope to expose my girlfriend to despite her lack of mathematical training.

PURCHASING TIP: As is true of all(?) games and simulations on Steam, if you kick in 3x the normal purchase price, you’ll receive a total of four license seats instead of one, and could give or sell(?) the extra licenses to friends or family to join in the fun (though network ‘play’ is not supported — this is a simulation, not a game. The multi-seat discount is available all the time, and I detailed how to transfer licenses on my Facebook account (bert.sierra) a couple of years ago in regards of getting Tabletop Simulator out to friends to play with. Just search for 'Tabletop Simulator' on my Facebook account to see those instructions.

I got on board with the tail end of the original Universe Sandbox (one) version, and every update to Universe Sandbox² has brought many welcome improvements and speed/stability updates.

I have 868 hours on this game. No, I am not obsessed with this game. The thing is that its extremely laggy, and I literally couldn't get it off my computer even after I restarted. I could still do things like play other steam games, but I always had the tab of Universe Sandbox on. It was annoying.

Other then that, this is a well-made game with hours of love and programming put into it. And anyone with a good pc and an interest in astrology ( or an interest in destroying the universe ) should play this.

I bought this game during a really weird period of my life. None of you will care about the specifics, but a key aspect of it was existential dread, which I gained through a (superficial) understanding of our place as specks within a larger star's solar system, dwarfed by local stellar gravity, further dwarfed into a speck within a galaxy, to which it is tied to other miniscule galaxies until we reach the Lanikean Cluster.

This game is a (limited) representation of the entire universe that we exist in. It is a crowning achievement of the human race. Please pick it up and toss some stars into weird sine curves.

The best thing about this game is the good retention. I've been playing the game for almost 2 years and I still have fun playing it. As long as I have a new idea, it won't get boring for me. The updates since I played in early 2019 also made the game much better to play with improved collision and graphics, new stats, lasers, improved UI. But my favorite added feature is definitely the surface grids. Something I want the most is a higher quality surface with rendered mountains and cities and valleys and other terrain features. However if the surface was like that it would probably be too much data to handle and the game would crash, so my idea is when surface view is toggled it would be kinda like google earth where the resolution of the ground increases and mountains and valleys and cities get high quality 3d renders, it would be kinda like when surface view is toggled, the limited horizon view would make it so only a portion of the ground can be rendered, so there isn't a data overload. I think it would be really fun to see a high quality surface render of your fantasy planet.

It allows me to simulate how a fictional world would actually function within the laws of physics, often leading to new discoveries you wouldn't have considered otherwise. An absolutely fantastic tool for world building, it's only missing climate and weather patterns based on a customizable terrain.

Fun and relaxing to build solar systems, with stars, planets, moons, rings, asteroids. You can make Pulsars, Black holes, Brown dwarfs etc... You can even try to make a planet suitable for life, or throw a stelar object at another and watch the big crash!

Cons: Rings are still rudimentary at this time.

Pros: Sim keeps adding things things over time. Increasing the number of stellar objects, and the specifics you can change about your objects such as atmosphere, gravity, temperature etc... Fun for the whole nerdy family!

The game is overall pretty fun there is no paywalls, you just buy the game and you never have to worry about buying dlcs, the game is really entertaining and gets updated pretty frequently.

Amazing Simulator for fun collisions, experiments, making our own galaxies ( Star Wars ) and on and on... You can never run out of stuff to experiment with and great space physics and effects... Definitely recommended if you like simulations , sandbox or space games...

You cannot get enough of the physics in this game how it simulates real science and puts it into a game. Giant Army has created the best destruction-inducing game ever created! But, if you aren't into that stuff, well, you can still play this game! Because, it is also an amazing stress reliever and is amazingly relaxing. Giant Army, keep up the incredible work!

Very in-depth and amazing universe simulator, I really had a lot of fun messing around. I only hope that the graphics (especially collision graphics) will be updated to look better in the future. Other than that I 100% recommend getting this game just for the fun of it.

I like this game a lot because not only, you can destroy the solar system (hehe)

But you can also do experiments, like what would happen if the sun, and another sun hit each other

Looks very realistic, some things may not be perfect, but a very fun game indeed

This game increased my knowledge of astronomy and interactions between heavenly bodies. I'm amazed at how fine tuned the cosmos is. I enjoy playing so much I often loose track of time. You'll love this!

GREAT GAME!!
It's really fun and entertaining, while teaching you about celestial bodies! You make your own simulation and control literally EVERY SINGLE THINKABLE PROPERTY on the object. There are so, so many things to do on this game! 11/10.

Exactly what I thought: I would start to spend hours doing nothing. Just throwing asteroids at Earth, exploding stuff, creating black holes to suck everything and watching it unfold. This is fun, totally worth the price. Stopped now because the game froze, though. But it's in Early Access, still. I bet they will have lots of problems because people will push the software to its limits, which is a good thing, because what is the meaning of being a god if you can't heat planets until they explode. :)

I quite enjoy all the features and being able to see what would happen if I blew up a star or crashed two planets into each other or made the sun twice as hot. its all very interesting and fun to play around with. the only real downfall it has to it is it costs a bit more than its worth to be honest. i think they should lower the price down to like $20 because I had to pay 30 and taxes which came out to a bit over 33 which is exceptionally more than what it is worth.
