Development Hustle: Six Months Down, More to Go
So, we've been at this for about half a year now. Still got some roguelite tricks up our sleeves, but let's talk about what's been cooking in the RTS pot, especially the battle hex map.

Battle Shenanigans: Building Stuff, Riding Things
The combat side of things is starting to look pretty good. You can build fortifications, erect structures like towers, bridges or defensive walls, roll out vehicles and mobile war machines such as rammer and siege tower or catapults, and yeah, ride a horse or chariot. It's been a wild ride from basic moves to this.

Units, Gear, and a Bit of Historical Swagger
Now, let's talk soldiers. We're all about historical flair here. No cloak, no existence, right? So, our soldiers are rocking historically appropriate gear, including cloaks. You'll spot wire helmets, wooden helmets, linothorax, metal helmets. Swords, bows, pikes, slingshots, and Celtic Cleavers are in the arsenal. We believe in the details, and it's not just about what they wear; it's about how they fight.

Next Up: Crafting the Non-Combat Stuff
We're knee-deep in making the non-combat part more interesting and nicer - you know, looting, shops, wisdom, inventory, crafting, and the whole text adventure package. Currently fine-tuning the user interface to make sure you can smoothly transition between tactical warfare and some roguelike wandering.
