As with all of Ubisofts games, the inital premise is really captivating. And also like all Ubisoft games, it is as wide as an ocean and as shallow as not even a puddle. You know how a cube of ice melts on a tabletop? Well blowdry the result for a few minutes, and whatever is left, measure the level of depth of that and you'll understand.
The gunplay feels amazing, and its so satisfying to drone mark everyone and take them out all stealth, and the world is so vast and BEAUTIFUL. But you quickly realize that going in loud is tedious and annoying. The story missions are ok, though you don't even need to do all of them to finish (for some strange reason). Everything else is so repetitive and boring. Each camp is the same.
Ubisoft fan boys will down vote this and say I'm stupid, just like they usually do.
My advice? Avoid. No point supporting a company that won't even put effort into their games.

It's a good premise for a game but it's borderline unplayable at times. Have to constantly restart things just to clear bugs. Some missions just don't even work at all. Had an issue with one game very nearly destroying my entire save, luckily I managed to find a fix just before giving up entirely.

If you just:
- set difficulty to maximum possible;
- disable most of HUD elements - especially minimap, item and enemy markers;
- do not allocate skill points into skills that are obviously making game much easier - like more HP, rebel HP, supressor without damage penalty etc;
- limit (not necessarily completely) use of drone - use binoculars instead where possible;
- limit use of sync shot - only use when necessary;
Then you get possibly the best open world tactical shooter currently available. Especially fun with friends.
Can recommend on sale, on which it goes pretty often.

One of the best Open World games out there.
I actually pre-ordered this game after playing the closed beta a few years back but didn't get the time to finish it till now, lol.
+ Beautiful areas to explore
+ Good graphics
+ Biggest map to ever exist in a video game
+ A variety of amazing biomes and the nature is just something else.. ( jungles, mountains, deserts, salt flats, lakes, swamps, quarries, caves, etc..)
+ Great weaponry and alot of attachments to hunt for
+ Classic leveling system with skills to unlock (similar to other Ubisoft games like The Division)
+ Fun Co-op experience
+ Somewhat realistic gameplay
+ Good shooting and moving mechanics for a TPS
- Driving is clunky
- Game might feel repetitive if you're playing solo most of the time
The game is definitely a buy. It's pretty cheap on sales too!

Introduction
The last time I played the first installment of the Ghost Recon series was over a decade ago, so coming back to its successor felt naturally exciting. The differences between Wildlands and the original are vast. Thanks to that, I enjoy exploring the game more than I could ever hope for. This review will surely give you heaps of insight into the game, without a single spoiler.
Summary
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon® Wildlands (GRW) is a PvE-focused military tactical FPS, where you assume the role of special forces operators, known as Ghosts, in a reactive and immense recreation of Bolivia to take down the savage drug organization known as the Santa Blanca Cartel.

- Massive playable areas. - Diverse, detailed, and beautiful ecosystems with realistic weather conditions and day/night cycle. - Lifelike NPCs with schedules and practical actions. - Fully customizable Ghosts Squad. - Military role-playing. - Well-assorted weaponry and satisfying gunplay. - Sandbox gameplay. - Limitless replay value. - Playable without internet connection. - Accessible to casual, hardcore, and immersion-oriented players. - Seamless (for the most part) and unrestricted co-op experience. |
- Unmemorable, no-stakes story. - Repetitive and predictable mission objectives. - Inactive PvP. - Seldomly unresponsive AI teammates. - The lack of tactical elements like camouflage, corpses interaction, disguise. |

In-depth Analysis
How Open World Should Be
GRW features 21 provinces inside eleven highly detailed and realistic ecosystems, making each visit to these areas feel like a whole new experience. From shallow swamps, open green lands, elevated forest valleys, lakes, waterfalls to snowy mountains. With the character creation available at any time, you can customize your whole squad - composed of Nomad (your playable Ghost leader), Midas, Holt, and Weaver (your AI teammates) - to alternate their appearances and fade into nature’s background. While most locations and the geography of the world are purely fictitious, a few recreated landscapes are based on their real-life counterparts, like the terrifyingly accurate Death Road, or the beautiful shallow salt lake Red Lagoon, and many more for you to explore.
Although made up, all other locations still feel believable enough to be indistinguishable from real life, with NPC civilians all having proper interactions with each other and the environments, like celebrating in costumes, playing football, or simply swiping the floor. Watching them react is fun and intriguing, which is something I rarely enjoy in any other games. Sincerely, I think this fictional version of Bolivia has become my new standard of how an open-world game should be.

Choose How to Operate
Since the world is reactive with weather conditions, day/night cycle, along with enemies and civilians acting accordingly to their set daily routines, you too can choose how to handle them and use the environments to your advantage. Almost all cartel thugs, even the Unidad - dirty government soldiers - sleep and eat at night (except during special operations), making them vulnerable to a stealthy operator. During nights, enemies are harder to see, and so are you. It'd be wise to scout out the whole area using a binocular or a drone. With night-vision goggles equipped, you'll be the unseen ghost, silently striking enemies' bases when they are at their weakest. And operating in the dark during a thunderstorm or mist? That’s when the immersion hits through the roof!
Or perhaps you’re just a casual player who wants to shoot bad guys and blow things up to have fun? Then, go loud, spray and pray with LMGs in broad daylight, when you can see everyone and become the spotlight for all guns pointing at you.
Be warned though, as carelessly acting like that is not favorable in higher difficulties like Extreme, aka simulation mode. And for any hardcore, [strike]masochistic[/strike] players or Ghost Recon old-timers out there, Ghost Mode with permadeath is awaiting to challenge you. Always planning, strategically maneuvering, paying attention to your surroundings, and being precise with your bullets are the keys to enjoying GRW. Playing on Ghost Mode, Tier One (increase the challenge, earn exclusive rewards) with Extreme Difficulty, and limited HUD (Minimap, Ammo, and Items shown only) brings me back to the punishing experience of the original game.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2702252676
Wide Variety of Guns to Choose and Love
GRW provides you with over a hundred firearms, with the option to carry one primary, one secondary, and one handgun, so choosing your favorite can be tough. Each gun is made distinct, not only on the model but also in the sound, both suppressed and unsuppressed. Bullet drop, recoil pattern, penetration power, and attachments contribute to that factor, too.
Gunplay is easy to learn for the most part, but hard to master if you, like me, prefer to use sniper rifles and attack from afar. Sniping over 500 meters and watching the enemies confusingly running and hiding behind cover is amusing, as they are clueless to find you since the gunshot source is too far away from them to know where to look. But if you shoot loudly about 150m close to them, they will hear, react to your shot and try to run towards the sound, so don’t camp and be on your toes.
That being said, sometimes they can magically spawn a vehicle to pursue you if you are too far away even though logically, they shouldn't know where you are, which ruins the immersion. Oddly, corpses disappear way too quickly, in under 30 seconds. The fact that you can't carry them around to hide or dump in a trash can
where they belong to
feels unpolished and lackluster in a AAA tactical shooter like GRW.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2702271902
Jolly Cooperation
GRW allows you to co-op with your friends or resort to public matchmaking to find randoms, so you can role-play together or have some dumbass ruin your plan by not communicating and exposing your position. The best thing about the co-op is that no matter where you and your friends are, all players’ progress contributes to each other. This means you can operate on one side of the map, while another player is at an airport over 15km away, to steal a resource plane and fly to the finish point. All of the players in the match will receive the same rewards.

Final rating: 8.5/10
Overall, it’s a solid installment to the franchise. Without all the changes in this game compared to the original, I probably wouldn’t have had a memorable and immersive experience, with over hundreds of hours of role-playing as the Ghost and exploring this recreated Bolivia. Wait for the occasional sale, even if you intend to play as leisurely as I do.

I am a player, that likes to see as much as possible from every game I play, so I listen to every dialogue, etc.
Okay the story is not the best, not mega exciting, but I enjoy the gameplay, staying undercover, while destroying the cartell step by step. I LOVE the map. It has a structure that makes sense to me, what in my Opinion is a very important factor in an open-world-game, and it is pretty huge.
Graphics are still okay for a game of that age I'd say, but the more fun part is definetly more the gameplay.
I hope this get's you an idea of what Wildlands is like. :)

When it comes to customization, this game does it so well. You can make your person look completely badass or extremely ridiculous and goofy. You can also make your weapons look AND play the way you'd like! You can change the different skins on them, and even customize how each skin would look on your weapon. There are also a ton of weapon mods you can find around the map that will help you build the perfect weapon and loadout for whatever play-through you want!
When it comes to difficulty, you can change it throughout your playthough to give you more of a challenge. From arcade difficulty (the easiest), to simply enjoy the setting and the story of the game to permadeath, where you get one primary weapon and one secondary and can play with no HUD and lose all progress upon death.
I've got nothing bad to say about the game. There are very rare bugs and glitches, but in my 4 years, all of them are hilarious and hardly affect gameplay. I'd go on to say that I prefer this over Breakpoint any day, but that is just me.

PROS:
+ Gunsmithing is good and you really can change your loadout on the fly
+ Decent voice acting and passable story
+ Previous DLC is now included in the game for free
+ Vehicle driving is fun and sometimes wacky
+ Character customisation is pretty good, when it isn't pay walled
+ Environments are very pretty and the game does a good job of capturing fake Bolivia along with a very good day night cycle which encourages tactical planning
CONS:
- A huge amount of content is pay-walled now. If you want a UMP or FN2000 forget it, DLC rewards from missions likewise.
Character customisation's; you want to fork out money for pretty much 70% go ahead. Ubi has even gated off colours like
blue or pink for your weapon skins...why would anyone want to buy this Ubi?
- Partner AI is almost brain dead in some cases. I also never found myself caring about my AI team mates once, there's just
no character development there and nothing makes them interesting or terribly likeable
- Why is there no cover system! this game desperately needs one, instead it operates a pseudo cover system where your
character can peek aroud or over cover but it can be maddening trying to get them to do it properly
- You die so easily in this game, which without a cover system makes this frustratingly ponderous at times
- Missions are very, very repetitive and will boil down to essentially: go here, mark targets, kill/capture/destroy target leave,
rinse and repeat. Same goes for side missions which will never vary
- There's no music or in game dialogue, apart from some scripted locations, while travelling which makes the game fairly
boring when you're driving or flying km's to your destination and does nothing to enliven the game in any way
I cannot recommend the game at full price, it is simply NOT worth it. I did have fun with Wildlands, if you can get past the games hiccups and lack of respect to the players then this is a pretty decent third person tactical shooter. I particularly liked outfitting my character to really make them, and their team, feel like a proper badass special forces unit, but I feel like I paid too much for that privilege (on top of the base game I bought the Year 2 pass on sale to get some of that additional content, this is the only one you should buy). Ultimately if you like this style of game you will not be disappointed, but do yourself a favour and wait till it comes on sale and only then.

I really dislike UBISOFT for what they've become in the last few years.
But time to time, they keep pumping out gems like Wildlands and AC Odyssey.
IF there is anything that I can tell about Ubisoft is that they've honestly become better at creating beautiful worlds and giving it some character.
Bolivia in this game is no exception.
They've put their time to beautify every corner of the map, give it life.
Everywhere you go in the map, you will be awed at how full of life it is, the lightening, the NPC Crowd, the buildings, the wildlifes, the spitting llamas, you name it. Each to their own regions.
At times, you'll notice copy-paste of buildings, but the way they have developed each town and village, makes you sometimes forget that. Some sort of nostalgia factor awaits, prepare your screenshot folder, honestly. It's gonna get big.
This games personality is something i'd vouch for to my grave.
People usually overlook this fact when deciding on this game, the major faction that you fight against,
The Santa Blanca Cartel is a very intimidating faction, if you have watched NARCOS, you know how ruthless the cartels can be.
They're your main nemesis and part of your entire journey, province by province.
Each step you take in the province(s), you follow the back-story of the Buchons with the short videos and text lore and they do a great job of making it feel like you're cutting parts of a much bigger body AND affecting them as you play, I honestly don't know why they dropped it in Breakpoints but hey...
Your player characters and companion are, well, what ubisoft does best.
Low-key bland and full of pride with zero to little interest wielding facts for you as the player.
You'll get tired of them, but they can simply be ignored and aren't a important factor in this game.
The content however,
Is kind of short in supply.
You have 3 main types of mission, Story Mission > Side Missions > Random Convoys.
Rest is just a collectable marathon.
This is staple UBI, but don't let it put you down though.
This game is a MUST PLAY, especially with a friend, on EXTREME difficulty.
If you haven't played this game.
DO IT!
The boss ladder system in this game is AWESOME.
The gameplay is harsh but AWESOME.
Everything is AWESOME.
TL;DR
You play as a typicial american covert operation and destabilize the country by:
1. Killing/Destroying all government assets.
2. Gunning down important officers of the military.
3. Shooting down important educational institutes.
4. Supporting home-grown terrorist outfit called Pac Kataris.
5. Bombing High Value Businesses that are vital to the regional economy.
6. Black Mailing the international community to oust Bolivia from the said community.
7. CIA doing CIA things.
8. Most likely preparing a coup cuz south america.
9. Viva La Bolivia

This game was fun for approximately 30 hours. I played the majority with one friend in multiplayer. The graphics are amazing; especially at night! You can see all the lights, in all the cities for miles, along with the lights from cars moving around the mountains. It was nice that there was no tether so you could move as far away from other players as you want. The game provides a decent open world where you can pick what order you want to do things and attack each mission/challenge as you please. There were levels of realism to things that we enjoyed. There were a LOT of options for customizing your character's appearance which was nice. Unfortunately...
The guns available were fine but it didn't seem that one weapon was much different from another. We spent the majority of the game playing with the same weapons and never traded them out for something else. It didn't feel like we needed to collect all the weapons and parts on the map as a result.
While we enjoyed a lot of things about the game, once we reached the 4 skull difficulty levels, we became frustrated by how the game chose to increase the challenge. We liked the added siren warning system, choppers in the air, and Unidad presence (bad guys with armor), we were very irritated with how the game would spawn random bad guys, sometimes right beside you, even while you were hiding and out of sight. Somehow, the AI always knew where you were at, even when hiding or moving through heavy ground cover. There is almost zero ability to be strategic because even though you could place proximity mines around a building you were camped, the AI would spawn directly beside you. Strategy is further complicated, when one player is detected, the other player is detected as well, even if they are on the other side of the compound and not near you.
The rebels were ANNOY! They randomly show up and mess up your strategy because they automatically start attacking the bad guys and draw attention to your presence. Whatever you do, don't let them out of their cages because the game will start spawning more bad guys randomly around you, even in places you have already cleared.
The vehicles were not great. They were hard to control and easily damaged. We had the most fun on the dirty bikes which were great at getting around off road.
In the end, we enjoyed the game for what it was, but didn't complete it. We started to feel like we were just struck in a loop of doing the same thing over and over in a different location. We wanted this to be a more tactical shooter game but strategy became almost impossible for the above reasons.

Pros:
- Graphics; the game is beautiful and has multiple landscapes all the way from snowy mountains to plateauing salt flats. If you like in-game photography and scenic vistas, this game is amazing for these points.
- Gameplay; this game provides multiple different ways to play, and many clever options to explore when going into combat. When assaulting a facility, you can run and gun head-on, be stealthy from up close or a distance, or tactically parachute in with all your friends. Speaking of friends, the game gets much better when you are communicating with friends in a 4-person squad,
- Multiplayer (PVP); This game is definitely interesting with it's PVP element, and while PVP definitely isn't my forte, I can safely say that it takes a little bit from R6: Siege and turns it on it's heels, giving you several operators to choose from to compete against the opponent's choices. Again, much more fun to play with friends.
- Customization; Oh boy, this game has a lot. If you like a huge variety of guns along with a huge variety of appearance options, this is a game for you. The game allows you to change your loadout on the fly to better suit certain situations. It also allows you to keep appearance presets to make you look the part of every mission.
- Mechanics; Specifically the Buchon hierarchy tree mechanics. Basically, this has you start at the bottom of these hierarchal trees fighting minor enemy characters with various different personalities and backstories, and never is one boss quite like another. As you go up, missions get harder and harder until you finally fight the Buchon, which is needed in order to progress to the end of the game. It's a really interesting system that works very well in an open-world game like this one.
- One World, Several Franchises; If you like this game enough, you'll end up finding yourself in missions that are crossovers between other Ubisoft games and other popular media. It's a really cool experience if you've played other Ubisoft games.
Cons:
- Voice lines; Something about the dialogue in this game just doesn't really do well. Every character always sounds soulless and tries to have banter that just doesn't end up being funny or amusing in the slightest.
- Story; On the surface, the story seems interesting, but the story ends up being more along the lines of a gameplay mechanic more than an actual story. El Sueno, the big bad, takes no effort to come across as just that. He preaches a better world where people of Bolivia live in harmony, while also very blatantly interrupting this ideal by killing anyone that goes as far as breathing in his direction. He's very flat overall.
- Travelling Mechanics; Honestly, driving and flying in this game is just all over the place. It's not bad but also not good, leaning more towards not good. Controls don't make sense and are very janky. Honestly it would be a lot better to switch to a controller for these bits.
Final Verdict: 7/10
Some questionable things here and there, but overall this game is great, and I recommend it to anyone that enjoys games that can go from feeling arcade-y to very realistic and immersive very quick. Very fun, especially with friends.

Like others have mentioned though, mission variety is ???????????????? poor. The game gets progressively more difficult but the missions are all the same, so even though it's a large map it doesn't mean anything since it's all the same. Becomes a boring rinse and repeat of missions and story, and there definitely isn't much replayability especially after you finish the ending.
I'll still thumb up the game because I had fun alone and with a friend. However without that friend helping me play then I wouldn't have enjoyed it.

HERE WE GO!!
Pros:
+Noice soundtracks (especially main menu one it just pumps up my adrenaline to max and I feel like a goddamn hero)
+Atmospheric Environment (Bolivia really looks damn good.It is breathtaking)
+You can use ansel to take screenshots ( you can only use that thing for when you are playin solo and are using nvidia graphics card)
+Loads of character customizations (you can just create your ghost however you like you can even change your teammates style as well)
+Loads of guns and modifications ( You can just go crazy with upgrades and modifications as well you can even see the things you attached on your guns)
+Coordination with teammates ( you can order your teammates around when playin solo and you can use sync shots skill in which you can takedown multiple enemies at one order)
+Fast travel
+Our protagonist isnt speechless (I mean when compared to tom clancy the disappointment your character is damn dumb and npcs just push you around and you be a good dog and help with their chores)
+Code names ( This feels damn good in special ops missions . Your character is called as nomad)
+Variety of vehicles ( You can use any vehicle you want and you can even listen to radio)
+Coop ( you can jump with your friends at anytime)
+You can use crouch and prone unlike in tom clancy the disappointment
+You can freely roam around in the game ( you can just go to any zone and select targets and destroy the fookers within it)
+There are challenges to be done (There is a tab of challenges where you can complete tasks and get rewards for it.Its exclusive)
+Drone ( That fookin drone is the best when scouting. It just feels like a goddamn phantom thief when using it)
+ 2 endings on the last boss fight
+You can use thermal vision and night vision
+Stealth kills and finishers
Cons :
-Physics are fooked up ( You will have to bear with it and it is mainly occuring on vehicles. Those vehicles are really pain in the ass to control. It will be like you are drifting most of the time)
-Annoying teammates ( Sometimes when your fooked up teammate is detected you will be instantly detected. So much for being stealthy and yeah that african baldy guy I dont remember his name but he has a fookin sniper rifle and when I was driving a car he was in it too and we were ambushed by some enemies so what he did was he started shooting at them with sniper rifle and his rifle was having like high rate of fire I mean what the fook?! that semi automatic rifle changed it to Assault rifle that time I was laughing so hard)
-Coop is shite ( I mean when a player joins you your other teammates will disappear especially AI so you will have to rely on that guy and yourself and yeah you can play with other friends as well 4 at same time. One more thing you will have to change your nat type to open to play with others and join others)
-No melee weapons ( You wont get any melee weapon there are some gloves with finishers animations and it has some pocket knife it is one of the exception)
-You cannot roam around that freely in areas ( there are patrols in those areas and you will instantly get detected for doing nothing)
-Enemies AIs are fookin badass ( I mean at higher difficulties when you get detected you will instantly get killed by one shot enemies are literally accurate in shooting your damn ass. I usually go for stealth route but some missions expect us to go all fookin loud like splinter cell mission in this game use flashbangs to blind them and hit them in the sacks)
-Extremely repetitive ( Game's missions are nothing but repetitive because you choose the target, destroy that fooker's stuffs and kill that dog thats it rinse and repeat with other bosses)
-Only one gadget ( Damn I thought ghosts will have several gadgets like in tom clancy the disappointment but nope only drone and night vision shites)
-Dying camera ( when you are dying you cant move your camera and you cannot die instantly you will have to wait for your timer to go off or be revived by your teammate)
-Collectibles ( for little bits of parts of the story you will have to go and find collectibles)
Tom clancy ghost recon shitelands is far better than ghost recon shitepoint ( I mean breakpoint but I like that name) and yeah poor jon berthal (Ubishit just fooked it up his voice acting and lip syncing in ghost recon shitepoint and it just led to one bug to another bug endlessly) The story is okay but I like how modern military guys are in the game and those codewords are damn fookin awesome. and yeah ghost recon shitepoint and the disappointment 2 are makin huge losses if you check out ifrs report of ubishit.

However, co-op is also harder. I died far more when playing with real people than I ever did alone.
In single-player, you get three AI teammates to round out your Ghost squad of four. They have names you don’t need to know and specializations that don’t matter. Never once did my sniper feel any different than anyone else. The bottom line is: they are not there to support you, they are there to enable you, and the difference between those two things is vast. If you do not directly control your team’s movements and firing patterns, most of the time they won’t do much of anything. They didn’t kill well on their own, and when I got flanked they didn’t have my back. That was frustrating.
On the other hand, AI teammates enable you to use Sync Shot, which is one of the most powerful tools I’ve ever used in a shooter. With it, you can mark up to three targets, and once your teammates have a “clear shot” you can give the kill order and they’ll make it happen instantly. You can also take out a separate target on your own, and your team will time their shots with yours to wipe out a total of four enemies in under a second. It’s satisfying, effective, and really damn cool.

Fun Recon Widelands
8.5/10
- Graphics : it does more than a decent job, the relief and vegetation are really well rendered
- Map : huge and seamless, I dk if it's because my SSD's are fast but there are absolutely no loading times once you spawn
- Guns : there are plenty of weapons for all tastes. My friends don't have the same load-out as I do and everyone is trigger happy ^^
- AI : good and somewhat well balanced compared to other games... though, as usual for this kinda title, bots spot you too easily
- Vehicles : cars are not too unrealistic, bikes are dumb and aircrafts are... a fast way to move around (don't expect great physics) ;)
- Solo : hours and hours of fun, loads of missions and evil-doers, lots of sneaking around to be done and much satisfying shooting
- Co-op : there is so much laughter to be had, by just plain blowing yourself up or failing a mission because SOMEONE made too much noise hahahah
p.s. I HATE all SAM's. Sam Fisher can go duck himself and anti-air launchers re-spawn too goddamn quickly !!!

Although I enjoyed the story mode (and still do, as I haven't finished it yet), it feels repetitive after a while. The country is split up in regions and every region has basically more or less the same tasks to do, the only real difference is the environment, the region boss, and the textures; this resulted in me taking a break for a few months because it does get a little boring, but if you come in fresh after a while you may enjoy it again. The two real missing things in this game, in my opinion, are a story line that really tells a story as you progress through the game instead of the simple task to conquer the cartel in various ways. Maybe this game is too much drawn to the open world genre, to the point that the story is cut in a lot of short stories and that you decide what to do and when you want to do it. Open world is nice, but I'd have enjoyed it if they also had a 'forced' story line that pulls you through the world and into missions. The other thing that I really miss is a lively and interactable world. The majority of the map feels dead. Although there are nice textures and AI wandering around, you can really tell that they are programmed. A world like in Far Cry 5 felt so much more lively and I enjoyed walking around in there or hunting on animals. In the world of Wildlands there's not much to explore and you are kinda forced to do just the (side-)missions and that's it.
Also the multiplayer modes could have been a little more elaborate. It is only possible to play 4v4s now. It's nice, but they could have implemented so many more fun modes.
All in all, it is a nice game and if you like tactical shooters I think you'd enjoy it as well. But this game had sooo much more potential, it's kinda a shame that it lacks the things that I mentioned, but oh well, it's Ubisoft so what could we really expect. Still recommended though (during juicy -70/-80% sales).

About PVP Its dead game. I mean after 8 minutes you find 7 guys to play and you have to be lucky enough so they stay and play with you over and over cause you are not going to find players again. And cheaters... Well I can tell you there is just an option to report but i don't think it actually works. Cause i can swear a guy Said it Proudly I am cheating and i reported him and after 1 week i saw him again.

Story:
You play as Nomad (gender is chosen by the player), who is a part of the Ghost squad. You and your squad are sent to Bolivia after a dangerous Santa Blanca cartel bomb the US embassy and kill a CIA agent. Your mission is simple, teaming up with the local rebels, you have to destroy every chain of the cartel and then take out its leader, the notorious El Sueño all while fighting against it's devout members and the ruthless police force Unidad.
The story in Ghost Recon Wildlands is weak to say the least. The idea itself is solid as hell, taking down a ruthless cartel by taking down its members seems ripe for a good story, but the game doesn't simply use its full potential. The main story of the US embassy bombing is quickly dropped and only brought back near the end of the game, where I completely forgot that it even happened.
I'll admit however some writing is pretty good and some of the cartel members are pretty interesting. They range from normal people joining the cartel to make money or absolutely crazy people. There are video profiles for each one of them, when you start their region, so you know who you're dealing with.
Graphics.
One thing that is impossible to deny is that Ghost Recon Wildlands looks absolutely stunning. Bolivia is an absolutely amazing location and it's incredibly varied. It ranges from cities, deserts, mountains, jungles and salt flats. It's all pretty amazing stuff and honestly this feels like a live and breathing world, even though most of the locations feel abandoned.
There's a lot of attention to detail in the world and I really loved exploring Bolivia and seeing the sights. So now about everything else, the character models for the main characters are decent and they look distinct, but everyone else looks the same. Cartel minions, unidad, rebels and civilians all have a few distinct looks and so it feels like a massive clone army.
Guns look decent and look like their real life counterparts, there's a lot customizing options so you can design most guns to your liking, even choosing what type of camo you want on them.
And of course there's vehicles, but there's not that many types of them, so you see the same colored trucks and sedans on the road over and over, maybe a sports car every so often.
Audio:
The audio design in Wildlands is decent, but there's quite a few things I don't like about it. First of all I'll start with the good. The voice acting is really good and honestly everyone does a decent job, every character has a distinct voice and some of them really play their parts well, like a douchebag cartel DJ. Also the surrounding ambiance of the world is great, like rain hitting the ground, birds chirping and stuff like that.
However there's a few other things I don't like and these. One of the biggest things I don't like is how most guns sounds too similar to one another, even you slap on an silencer other guns of the same caliber sound pretty much identical.
Gameplay:
When playing a Ghost Recon game, most people expect a tactical experience and while Wildlands has some tactical missions, it's nowhere near as much as the older games. If I had to describe the gameplay, it would be Far Cry in third person.
Your basic goal is pick any region in Bolivia, gather information by collecting intel and then trying to take out that particular region boss. The missions are basically on a cycle, it's always go to someplace and either A) Kill someone B) Destroy something and or C) Collect something on a repeat and then once you're done with that region the boss emerges from hiding and you either kidnap them or kill them.
In the first hours of the game it's really fun and taking on waves of cartel members is fun, but sadly it quickly becomes boring to the point, when you reach the final few regions, you just want to get it over with as soon as possible.
The basic gameplay is fun enough, most of the time you have an option of either go loud or go quiet. Stealth is rather fun, but most of the time, you can't keep it up for long, because something might go wrong and that is out of your control. For example you might be clearing a big outpost of cartel members quietly and all of a sudden another cartel minion from a nearby outpost wanders into your location and spots a body which alerts everyone else. It gets pretty annoying, pretty fast.
Also the game has another type of enemy which is the Unidad. Unidad is the police of Wildlands and they are a much tougher enemy than the Santa Blanca cartel. When fighting them, the bigger fight you put up, the bigger the punch back they will throw towards you. So if you stand your ground and fight, they might start sending choppers to your location and armored trucks to chase you down. They are at first a dangerous enemy and fun enemy, but quickly end up becoming really annoying. In some missions where you invade their bases they never stop spawning and dealing with them becomes a pain.
Verdict:
While I don't absolutely hate Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, I don't love it either. In my opinion this game is too much like Far Cry with not much different factors. It's still a fun game, but honestly the mission structure could have more variety cause it becomes pretty boring doing the same missions over and over again. On a sale this game is a great experience, but for full price it's not worth it.
Final Rating:
6.5/10
Pros:
+ Bolivia is stunning
+ Interesting premise
+ Gunplay is pretty fun
Cons:
- Story doesn't use its full potential
- Pretty much no mission variety
- Some of the guns sound way too similar to one another

Sadly, it gets boring rather quickly. After a couple of hours and missions everything starts to look and feel the same. You'll notice all the upgrades you looked forward to at the start don't matter much, and all the tens if not hundreds of missions you can do are all quite similar.
Now, to explain a bit further, of course this game is heavily focused on your approach every mission completely different. From stealth, to guns blazing etc. But there's only so many times that's fun. After a while you tried most if not all of these approaches and it starts to get repetitive. There're some upgrades you can purchase and new weapons you can unlock, but these don't have a big enough impact to give it a refreshing feel.
The story had some great potential, but in the end it didn't manage to keep me or my friend interested. In fact, after a couple of missions we had no clue what the story was about.
There's not much more to say sadly. I wish it was better, cause I really liked the whole idea and approach they went for.

Ghost Recon looks fantastic. You are scarcely left with anything bad to say about the graphics after traversing the flatlands, forests and mountains of Bolivia, and everything looks the part. This is probably the only part where the game shines - despite being visually impressive, there's not much to it.
In terms of gameplay, Ghost Recon's been going down the drain. The installment after this one, Breakpoint, has even less substance than Wildlands, and even this is pretty bad. Sure, you have your cool military tech and tactics, but that just amounts to drones and trying to coordinate moves with your AI companions who are, mostly, only useful for that and nothing else. You constantly feel distanced from the game world, and the repetitiveness and monotony of the multiple fetch-quests that take you across Bolivia is mind-numbing. The missions don't even vary that much, and you have to do a ton of them just to bring down ONE branch of the cartel.
The characters are just... there. There's not much characterization, and I couldn't even remember the name of the bad guy. Dialogue is scarce, and none of your teammates have any personality to them. The gameplay and the story don't help each other one bit, each one being boring and repetitive. The story tries to change some things up sometimes by having different targets, but everything you have tho do to get them is the same. Hell, probably the best character in this game is the radio DJ that occasionally actually cracks some funny things that satirize the situation or are just good jokes.
The AI is incredibly dumb. Your AI companions often get you into trouble, no one knows anything about tactics or shooting, and you're just left with a sense of complete disbelief at just how bad the game is and how it handles the AI. As said before, the only thing good about the AI is that it can be used to line up free shots on highlighted enemies.
As for the sound, Wildlands is a bit gamey, with bullet noises being a bit bad. The good thing is that this, compared to Breakpoint, actually has a radio station, and the music really builds up the ambiance and the tone of being in Bolivia. There's really not much else, but music and sound are some of the only things that kept me from dying of boredom.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is a whole open world of absolutely nothing. Despite its multiple regions, characters, and missions, it's as repetitive as a game can be and is really a good example of the general decline in quality of Ubisoft open worlds into becoming mind-numbing icon-filled same-y maps that fill the game up so that it can reach more hours of gameplay. Buy this game on sale if you're planning to play it with friends; otherwise, don't buy it at all.

Introduction
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, by Ubisoft Paris and published by Ubisoft, was released on March 7, 2017. Wildlands is the 10th game in the series but the first Ghost Recon game to go with the open world concept. It is one of the biggest open world maps that Ubisoft has ever created.
Gameplay
The game starts off in the high mountains of Bolivia. At first, you get drawn into the awesome graphics that surround you, complete with detailed and nicely made terrain, trees, grass, and so on. It’s purely breathtaking. When you start off, you get three bots to play with, or you can choose to play with friends in co-op. If you choose to play in coop, the bots will disappear.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is played in a 3rd person perspective, but you have the option of taking on a first person view as well. You play as a member of the Delta Company, and your task is to retake control of Bolivia. Your target is the druglord El Sueño, who is running the biggest drug cartel in the world, and it’s up to you and or your friends to take him Down.
There are different difficulties you can put on to make the game easy or extremely challenging. I would recommend putting it has high as you can tolerate, since it will increase the amount of fun you have in the game. There is nothing like sneaking up to a base and silently take out the entire force who are armed with a high skill set. I would recommend if you are playing with friends that you put your difficulties at the same as your friends. That will force you to play the same tactics.
Doing missions in the dark compared to daytime makes a big difference in how you plan your entry. During the night, you have the advantage of stealth. Many of the soldiers are also sleeping during the night, making them an easy target.
Drones are your best friend in the game. You can easily scout an entire base within a minute to plan your attack. The first of the drones have fewer abilities, but as you progress and get the experience required, you can upgrade your drone to be quicker and stronger.
There is a wide variety of weapons, clothing, and ways to customize your equipment. Ghost Recon Wildlands uses weapons from different militaries around the world. As you progress in your game, you will find and unlock new guns, add-ons, clothing, and vehicles.
Helicopter is my main way of transportation, and the sweet thing is that you can spawn in any vehicle wherever you are on the map, making it easy to travel. You can also teleport to different locations you have unlocked on the map, or you can teleport to any of your friends.
The map is huge and is divided into 21 areas. The different areas have different difficulties, meaning it’s best to start out with the lower levels. When you enter a new area, you unlock new missions to complete. The missions in the different areas are controlled by a Buchon, and to progress towards eliminating them, you need to take out the underbosses.
Cutscenes for the story are well made, and Karen Bowman is as bad as you can get. Spoiler alert: pressuring cartel members to overdose on coke to makes them squeal.
Special Operations
Ubisoft has done a lot to support the game over the years. They have made several special operations to keep players like me playing the game continuously.
There are currently five special operations:
Predator
Operation Watchman
Operation Archangel
Operation Silent Spade
Operation Oracle
DLC
There are 2 DLCs for Ghost Recon Wildlands: Narco Road and Fallen Ghosts. They both take place on self-sustaining maps- both edited parts of the original map. The gameplay is a little bit different from the original game, but they both have some interesting new implements. For example, the way your vehicles and planes are made so much more arcade-like in Narco Road to the awesome new enemies you encounter in Fallen Ghost.
I would recommend them both, but I wish they had made the DLCs’ maps expand into the main map.
Conclusion
If you want to get an awesome shooter game with cooperative gameplay, there is no way around Ghost Recon Wildlands. It is the best Coop game out there to date, even if it’s some years old.
The world of Wildlands is so beautiful, you can just drive around enjoying the view. 10/10
