The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story is a 2D pixel action RPG developed by Digital Sun, an indie studio best known for their monster-stomping RPG, Moonlighter. Riot Forge and Digital Sun joined forces to bring the mystical story of Sylas, the Unshackled, to life.
The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story follows Sylas, a Demacian mage, through his journey of revenge and justice as he escapes Demacia, a society obsessed with rooting out magic. After learning Sylas was “afflicted” with magical abilities, his parents persuaded him to turn himself in to the kingdom’s mageseekers.
The mageseekers used Sylas’ abilities to identify and locate other mages. But Sylas began to doubt their mission and take pity on those he helped to condemn. After an incident that left mageseekers dead, Sylas was sentenced to life imprisonment as just a boy. The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story picks up on Sylas’s journey as he escapes the dungeons of Demacia to build his rebellion.
