Also, ich sehe mich mal gezwungen eine Lanze für das Game zu brechen. Mit den größtenteils negativen Steam Reviews bin ich nicht einverstanden. Das Spiel läuft ohne Probleme (was das Starten angeht). Ich habe nur ein PRoblem mit einem AA Glitch, der aber behoben ist sobald ich AA ausschalte, die Autos sehen dadurcvh aber immer noch Klasse aus, trotz der angestaubten Engine.
Zu empfehlen ist zum zocken ein Lenkrad, Tastatur ist weniger zu empfehlen, zur Not funzt das jedoch auch.
Grafisch, wie oben schon erwähnt, gibts nur den Glitch zu bemängeln, die Autos sehen echt Klasse aus, Streckendetails OK sind spartanisch, siehe Texturen von Bäumen usw., die Strecke an sich hat gute Boden / Fahrbahntexturen.
Gameplay ist soweit ok, wie gesagt mit nem Lenkrad läßt sich das Ganze gut spielen und macht auf jeden Fall Spaß.
Ich kanns / würds problemlos empfehlen, Retail btw., ich selbst habe dafür knappe 7€ bezahlt und die sind das Game allemal wert.

Ich kann dieses Spiel auf jeden Fall jedem empfehlen, der früher ein Fan von Rennspielautomaten war! Im Prinzip spielt es sich ganz ähnlich...
Vor Allem wenn man ein Lenkrad mit Force Feedback sein Eigen nennt! Nur muss man bei diesem Spiel nicht alle 3 Runden 1€ einwerfen sondern kauft es einmal und kann dann so lange fahren wie man Lust hat! (und wenn man wie ich nur 3,79€ bezahlt hat, hat man umso mehr ein gutes Geschäft gemacht...)

Die Kampagne ist recht umfangreich und hat genau die richtige Schwierigkeit! Als völlig anspruchslos kann man sie jedenfalls nicht bezeichen... Hin und wieder ärgert man sich aber es kommt nie zu Frustsituationen! (bis jetzt jedenfalls nicht...)
Wer die Kampagne spielt, dem würde ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen sich die Zeit zu nehmen wenigstens einige der leider nicht synchronisierten Story Texte durchzulesen... Videosequenzen wären an dieser Stelle schöner gewesen...

Die Lenkrad Unterstützung ist zum mindest für das Logitech Driving Force GT hervorragend (andere Lenkräder konnte ich leider nicht testen, aber es werden sehr viele von Logitech, Trustmaster, etc unterstützt)
Das Spiel erkennt das Lenkrad automatisch und bisher habe ich noch kein Rennspiel mit besserem Force Feedback gespielt!

Wenn man Multiplayer spielen will sollte man ein bis zwei Freunde überreden sich das Spiel auch zu kaufen, denn meist sind relativ wenige Lobbys verfügbar... Leider gibt es keine Multiplayer Kampagne aber sowieso ist das Spiel denke ich eher einfach nur zum Spaß haben für zwischendurch geeignet!

Das lässt sich leider auch auf die Grafik übertragen, welche nicht besonders schön aussieht... Man kann sich daran stören, man kann aber auch drüber hinwegsehen. Es gibt schlimmeres und sie sieht auf höchsten Einstellungen immernoch tausdendmal besser aus als die meisten Rennspielautomaten...

Es wäre mir auf jeden Fall auch mehr als 3,79€ wert gewesen! :D

It works on Windows 10.

This game is almost like a dream come true. Getting to start all the way to the beginning of motor racing and seeing how you could get away with almost anything to it becoming safer as time went on was a blast. Although it's only Ferrari's, this game is pretty good even if it's for only a few hours.

The concept behind this game is great, but the whole experience is ruined by horrible physics, sometimes it's almost unplayable due to laggy steering. Save your money for better games, such as NFS Shift, Project Cars, or Assetto Corsa.

Generally its another one of those reviews where its hard to say yeah buy this game or don't. I enjoyed the game for the first little bit. The difficulty is one thing that breaks the game. Its odd cause its kind of broken. To ace this game you have to play it on hard. I remember playing this on easy back in 2013 and I do some what remember that it was still some what hard. But I finally gave into playing this game in 2020. So this time I decided I will ace this game on hard and get all the achievements.

The achievements are easy to get some what cause there is no online multiplayer based achievements, all you have to do is just beat the game. So is beating the game that easy though. I can tell you there is probably about 3 to 4 races in the game I had a very tough time with and it completely made me rage. Some of the most difficult races involve obstacles. That's right dodge obstacles on the road and get the best time but you have to make it clean.

Now I've read from some people that if you play on hard there isn't a real curve in difficulty for the time trial based races. It really doesn't make sense but from what I believe whether playing on hard difficulty or not to ace those races you have to beat a lap record and that can be a chore. Usually anything involving time trials can be a chore. One of the hardest races I had to get a average lap time of 1min and 39secs and I just couldn't do it without making some cuts which the game called legal so I'm not even saying that's cheating cause the game didn't say it was ;).

So yeah some races are kind of like that you kind of just have to figure out how to use your speed and make the best cuts without getting a lap time cut penalty. As for the AI as a lot of people mentioned it's pretty bad but one of the worst races was having to get 3rd place and make it a clean race. This race however had you place a rank per lap. So first lap make sure you stay in 7th and next lap would be 6th etc... But it was so difficult cause you had to make sure you wouldn't smash into other vehicles. But what made that a pain and should be other wise simple is that the AI would continuously get into accidents so you would have to dodge the cars or your clean race would be wiped and you have to start over.

So some races were mostly get first place and that didn't really matter what destruction you had to your vehicle or what your time was in most cases. They would get pretty repetitive and the only thing that would make you want to play is pretty much getting the achievements and unlocking stuff to use in single player which you probably won't want to do after beating the game. Now as for how the game controls and such if you've played Need For Speed Shift as mentioned by other players yes the road is ice basically and most if not all vehicles drift yes crazy even F1 vehicles drift :D. I didn't really have an issue with it though cause it some what made turns easier but as you get further into the game some vehicles have a pretty bad break mechanics where you'll need to hold that break down pretty long to make that turn perfect where that slip around really doesn't help. But again to me its not a big deal.

They had said this was basically a arcade simulator and to me it feels like that so I can some what see where they were going with that. There is about 35 tracks in the game and all look wonderful and that's pretty much another thing that gives this game a good name is how it looks. The only draw back is that the car lines there is a bit of poly mess but its not too bad and it might possibly be fixed by using Reshade or other texture modding software. I also think the sound in the game is pretty good as well and as far as I know its probably identical to Need For Speed Shift 2 at least one of the sounds being the lights and horn for a race start are the same. As for music yeah you won't hear much unless you listen to the menu's or some races at the beginning or end of some of the mission based races.

The other thing I had heard is that you can't turn off certain features in the game that make it more easier then it should be. From things like ABS breaks and arcade steering etc... all that stuff you know if you're into racing games. I don't know if the track lines can be turned off cause I generally use them to help me and yes i'm a bit of a newb with these games ;). So yeah this game was generally made for people who are beginners but with that said its still pretty darn difficult none the less and some beginners probably will have a tough time and give up.

I never tested online and from what I believe I think people still play online but I can't really give a review or base anything on that cause I haven't played it. So yeah I don't really have much more to say here its a hit or miss here but playing single player can get repetitive and some of those obstacles and time trials feel a little too unrealistic. However once getting into one of those races it kind of takes the repetitiveness away. I got pretty bored about mid way through the game and pissed off at some of those time trials which took literally 2 hours to make a perfect race. I'd say if you're into Ferrari give it a go its basically got a whole lot of history on its vehicles from the start up until about the time the game was released. Also if you don't care about acing the game just want to play it for that then you should be able to do that no problem.

So yeah that Need For Speed..... Sorry I mean Test Drive Ferrari Racing Legends and its packed with Ferrari history and basically that's what you want to play it for or heck if you can get by its flaws and repetitiveness then this game is for you. But to me its not a game I would go back and play and that's where it really loses out in the racing category of games.

This is NOT a hardcore driving / racing simulation... but if you're a fan of the genre your library is incomplete without it.
Gorgeous graphics even on moderate systems - decent enough physics - good sound - and you get to drive the car from Monopoly :o)

The control is just plain weird and takes some getting used to / tweaking but it's manageable. And it's a Games For Windows Live title if that matters to you (it does to some - A LOT)

Catch this one on sale - it's surprisingly satisfying
