New update is finally here!
Optimization and performance improvements
The technical part of the game has been thoroughly reworked, and it now runs faster and smoother. The Steam Deck tests showed a significant improvement: whereas version 0.8.5.10 overheated the device and caused FPS drops, version 0.9 maintains frame rate and offers steady gameplay.
New quests, characters and dialogs
While we were working on the second chapter, the first chapter received new quests, new characters, and expanded dialog. They will help you dive deeper into the story and lead you towards a way out of the Misty Valley.
the Magic System Improvements
We have added the ability to assign new spells that the hero can use in combination with melee weapons. Additionally, we have introduced several new spells that you can learn as you progress through the story. More spells will be added in the future.
Evolution of the combat system
Each weapon has been enhanced with new techniques, making battles more dynamic and entertaining. Additionally, now the variety of attacks directly affects effectiveness: the more diverse your blows, the faster they become, and the more damage they deal.
Improved controls
The controls have been made more responsive based on your feedback. As a result, our protagonist now instantly responds to commands, moves smoothly, and interacts with the environment more predictably.
Fixes and improvements
There have been a lot of bugs fixed, including critical ones that could prevent players from completing the game. We encourage you to report bugs in Discord or discussions. Try loading an earlier save if you encounter a problem. Only two people are working on the game, so we appreciate your patience and support!
A Glimpse of the Future: The Middle Lot
Along with this update, we've been working on Chapter 2, and now we're ready to reveal the The Middle Lot, the mysterious region where the final part of the story will unfold.
