The Gameplay is really fun but what I dont like is the Shop System
I dont care if a game has skinshops and buying the skins is everyones own decision,
but in this Game Skins cost about 1200 or 3000 - 4000 Currency but you can only charge for 1000, 2800 and 5000 so if you want to have a skin you allways have to put in more money.
They should adjust this prices.

Endlich ein Battle Royale Game außer PUBG das nicht Müll ist. Das spiel macht unglaublich viel Spaß und bringt mit den Attacken und Effekten ein neues Spielerlebnis in die typische Battle Royal Welt mit ein.

Great game but so sad there is only Battle Royale... They should add a Story Mode, Coop or at least Deathmatch. SO much wasted potential. Also it's a Battle Pass game, so nope.

The game has an amazing idea it is just that there is a 5-minute queue time and everyone you'll face is on console which enables them to have an aim assist that's equivalent to aimbot.

If the game was populated by PC players and would receive a tiny bit more content then I would recommend it.

In my opinion this could be the best BR on the market right now. Spellbreak has a great twist on the genre with elements which interact with each other and thats truly the best part, every single fight comes with this epic collage of explosions featuring different combinations, which eventually ends with whoever had the biggest 5Head play. There is sadly a lack of maps, players, and any new content in the time frame its been out, which i'm sad to say. Given the same time and effort these other big BR's on the market have. It would easily be the best out there, for what its worth though, its still holding on for dear life, and there is enough people playing it where you can find a game and still have some fun. So by all means, go for it, and give it a try.

At this point why even have the company's name be called proletariat inc just call it potential inc as there is so many ways to make the game better but the devs gone radio silent and died. forgot to add the fact that there is four minute queues for a full lobby of bots

This game having bots is the stupidest thing ever and makes it unnecessarily complicated for new players and even experienced players as they randomly pop up and spawn out of thin air. Finished a fight with 2 enemies that I killed alone and at the end of the fight as I was healing in an open space a bot randomly popped out and 1 shot me. Leveling system makes no sense, either. Battle royales are supposed to be an even playing ground, with loot being random for EVERYONE and not requiring you to have played forever to have a decent loadout before going into the match. They really need a rework before this game is worth investing in.
UPDATE: The circle also moves faster than you with maximum speed even when it's just the FIRST CIRCLE. Like, come on, even Fortnite doesn't make the circle faster than the player until like the 3rd or 4th storm. Absolutely stupid.

This combines my favorite concepts of fantasy RPG games with the battle royal experience. Played this a lot on my switch before getting a laptop. A truly crossplay game that has solid servers. I you are looking for a battle royale that is not fortnite (you should be), and like fantasy, then you have nothing to lose. Give this a try.

Fast, fair and and satisfying combat! The game is a bit bare-bones, sure, and the player count might not be amazing. But still, matches are found in 2-4 minutes, and always feature exciting combat.

The bots/NPCs that replace some of the real players blend in nicely in my opinion - they pose little threat and serve more to alert others of your position. Fun!

First off i would say if you don't know what to play or are very bored give this a try. It is a very unique game and quite enjoyable but sadly servers are very dead. It takes 2 plus minutes to find a game but if your lucky enough you can find a game quickly. IMO it would be a 10/10 game if more people played but i still recommend this game.

Played +50 hours on Epic Games Launcher

Definitely one of the best battle royale games i ever played. The smooth gameplay was really addicting. I loved it a lot and had so much fun playing, but decided to stop early, because i knew the game was about to die

I can only think of 2 negative things about this game
1 - The game got released on Epic Games Launcher first instead of on Steam. There is not a SINGLE multiplayer game on EGL besides Fortnite that got popular from that ****** launcher. I wonder when will people who make multiplayer games realize it. Its a shame
2 - Bots. This game had TOO many bots and it just created a really bad image of the game. Really unnecessary and a stupid decision. Just why?

This game could be really big if it released on Steam and had a better advertisement in my opinion. Big yikes
Giving it thumbs down, because its dead. It has 150 people playing at the moment... :(

The game-play is really fun, ticks every box it sets out to achieve.
However there is one glaring issue... Its all bots, I haven't run into a real player yet.
Since finishing the tutorial I have won every game I've played :(

really fun and unique battle royal game, if your looking to play a fun game with friends you should definitely try this game out, it's also a cross platform game which is awesome, so u can play with friends on a variety of platform. The matches are quick and fun also full of action.

Absolute Blast to play! An old format done in a new way. Takes a little bit to learn which elements pair well with each other but once you do, you'll feel ridiculously powerful. Dominion is a different style of game, I personally prefer the battle royale, but I can absolutely understand why someone might choose dominion instead

Possibly the best battle royale I’ve ever played, and I’m not much into that genre but I thought the game concept of magic was pretty dope and the mechanics are super smooth. I did like with little practice I mastered the controls which led me to focus on strategy. I mostly enjoyed the mechanics, wish there was a campaign.

Tldr; I love this game, it had great potential, but it's devs and small player retention are constantly borking it.

Spellbreak is a fun, unique, and challenging game with arena brawler elements and boasts an incredible amount of player interaction via the spell combos. However, the developers have squandered a lot of the goodwill the game had built-up, it at one point was boasting a 2 million player count and was getting attention from some pretty influential youtubers (Shroud, at some point).
All of that is gone. Even with crossplay, it takes 3-5 minutes on average to find a ranked match, and when you do, good luck actually being able to fill the whole lobby. (4v5 in ranked is pretty common, in my own experience) And finally, if everything goes off without a hitch, you STILL won't likely be playing with people in a similar skill level, the player base is too small for how many ranks there are to get to Legend.

There are many reasons for the current state of the game, and I think a large one was when the game left beta, it Launched exclusively on the Epic Games Store after being on steam for some time during the alpha and beta stages, which lost a LOT of goodwill amongst the playerbase.
With each content roll out, the game loses complexity and a lot of identity, particularly in chapter 3, where verticallity was nerfed into the ground, making things overall much easier for any class combo sporting AOE.
Lastly the dev team has been pretty fickle in what they pay attention to, if you aren't a big streamer or in legend rank forget about being heard, you may get a reply in the discord server (in which they live and die by) but overall, you are unfortunately another rat on a sinking ship.

Been playing since the 2018 technical Pre-Alpha, so my hours here don't reflect the time spent in game. When the game returned to steam at the end of last year (after they jumped ship to Epic Game Store for a year) I came back and played, but was instantly turned off by the long queue times and number of hackers going unchecked.

Here we are now, almost a year later and the game is almost dead, and its all thanks to the developers. They don't listen to community feedback, and delete any negative posts in the forums (not that there are many these days).

10 months ago this game had 2 million players (according to the devs and their bragging on twitter). It had Shroud streaming it. Well he's gone and so have the 2 million. Now they don't brag about numbers on their twitter feed, but you can see it is just a few hundred now. It was easier to get a game in Pre-Alpha, now after launch it takes 5 minutes (if you are lucky), and that's with crossplay enabled, so even with console players (switch/xbox/PS), Epic Store and Steam players combined, you still have to wait a long time to get a match, and when you do, there are still people blatantly hacking. The dev's solution if you cant find a game? Join the discord and hook up with people. FAIL. after all these years that's your solution? FAIL.

Anything done about hacking? not from what I can see, but they are very quick to update the in game store with new skins, but who in their right mind would drop money on a game that is almost dead? This developer shut down their previous 2 games once they started losing money. So spending money on this game is a very risky proposition. Would there be refunds for store purchases if the service is taken down?

Shame cos its a great game when it works and you get to play it. But it deserves to die.

Its a good game but there are no one to play with, u literally have to wait like 5 mins to get into a match and even if u do u get into a server with like 350 ping when region is set to auto. Not a goddamn soul is playing this in asia.

Im done for now but i might return if there are enough players some time in the future.

For a free-to-play game, the quality and competitiveness is way above expectation. I enjoy playing games where I can be a spellcaster, and this game really hits me right where I want it to, along with features such as combos between the different elements. I would love it if more modes came out and a casual non-PvP mode comes out for those that just want to have fun, but overall, the current experience is fantastic. Looking forward to more development and content!

This is a decent Battle Royale that doesn't involve someone camping across the map in a third story window with a sniper rifle. The map is fun to traverse, the weapons are VERY creative and can mix when you fire them into the same target, and item upgrades feel fair. You can stand a chance against a juiced enemy with minimal items if you know what you are doing. Play with friends just adds to the mix of what you're capable of as far as elemental damage. I would recommend this over any other Battle Royale game.

Devs seem much more concerned with making money than the quality of the game, when things are poorly balanced its almost never a good change that keeps the subject of the nerf still usable but more in line, its either all or nothing, they seem to have a very poor understanding of what made the game fun to play in its early development, lobbies are dead and full of bots, chapter passes are hollow feeling and the overall gameplay keeps getting slower and more focused on aoe abilities that make the game feel clunky and unrewarding to play, as a 4k+ hour pre alpha vet, play this game if you feel like it looks interesting, dont get discouraged if you get stomped for a while, watch people and learn from them, but dont expect it to do well or keep going or keep playing for very long, almost all of the old players have moved on due to quality of the game going down over and over again

What else is there to say? I love this game. One of a kind. A true Gem. I love how there is new content every week if not every other day. Definitely a very fun game. Pretty high learning curve, to say the least. But once you get the hang of things, like, jumping in this game. It becomes a lot of fun. Props to the Creators of this game. Excellent game.

Spellbreak is fun. The community is nice but very small. People say Spellbreak is dying, and maybe that's true, but the gameplay in Spellbreak is unique and if you enjoy competitive games but are tired of generic shooter titles and MOBAs, give Spellbreak a shot

First of all, Spellbreak really is a great game.
A fun battle royale, which can be very diverse, because of different gauntlet combinations, runes and talents. Through that you can find and develop your own playstyle; you could try something new every game or stick to the combs that work.
But the more you play, the more you come to realise, how little the player base is, which is why your games oftenly get filled with bots. Bots that most of the time run in a straight line or into walls, until you attack them. Then they start firing some shots left and right. Rarely they are able to make a real opponent, which is why fighting can get really boring. I get that you need bots sometimes, to get a full round, but if 70-80% of the players don't really fight back the game just is no fun.
The new playmode ''Dominion'' and it's ranked system brings some redemption though. More real players the higher you climb and a measurement for your skill.
Overall, I'd recommend at least giving this game a try, as it has really high potential and so much different combinations to try.

One of the most fun battle royales I've ever played. It has some issues that need to be worked out for sure but still very enjoyable none the less. Very unique fusion of alchemy and combat that gives every match a new opportunity to try switching it up that keeps it from getting stale so far and that expands further if you decide to play with friends.

Decent game but as soon as you hit a certain level they place you against bots with no mention of it. People have gotten into the habit of creating new accounts to get around that feature leaving the higher ranked tier 90% bots.

If the company didn't have a dishonest way of hiding the truth around the bots i'd give this game a positive review.

It's a fun BR with a twist, although I enjoy the clash/rumble mode over anything else.

I play on PS4 / EPIC / and Steam. One thing I did notice while playing this game on steam is that when trying to purchase currency in the in-game store vs the steam store on the game page, it freezes the game forcing you to have to close out of the game. Hopefully, they'll fix that in the future. As it could likely be a turn-off for those that are interested in a battle-pass for the season while playing on Steam.

Update: Seems on my end at least the Steam store now works. Good job devs!

This game is a good amount of fun and quite unique in the stagnant BR genre, but undoubtedly has a few things that hold it back from being standout.

Off the rip, I found myself interested in the magic system. Most classes are fun to play and the balancing between them is fine (wind is pretty underwhelming though). There's a lot of different ways to play, and nearly every game is different considering you won't be able to get the same gauntlet/runes every time. Combining magic (with class and gauntlet magic) also provides even more diversity to how the game is played. Only thing I'm noticing a problem with is how awfully precise you need to be to hit a moving enemy with some attacks, but maybe I just need to git gud. Overall, magic is the highlight and obviously what the devs wanted players to focus on.

Other than that though, this game is lacking in a few of areas. The visual style is a big thing that comes to mind. This game looks like a cheap mobile game which is a damn shame considering that it doesn't play like one. A lack of meaningful looting is another thing I have to mention. The main progression in a BR is what you do and don't pick up during a game, but the pickups are the most basic upgrades (mana & armor increases). This is unlike games like Apex or Warzone where the pickups are vast and pretty much the bread and butter of how an average game plays out.

The first thing that comes to mind when I play this game are the first few seasons of Fortnite. It's kinda janky, but it has a casual fun factor that you don't see in the overly competitive BR scene of today. If you and a few friends are wanting something to just get on and play for a few hours, this is definitely a game to check out.

Genuinely the best pvp combat i have ever experienced. I usually do joke reviews but let me tell you the gauntlet system in this game is by far the most simple yet innovative thing I've ever seen.

FINALLY on Steam!! Thank god, i have played it so much on Epic Games but happy that its finally in my steam library.
This game deserves so much attention, not just another battle royal game, this is actually originally put together and the graphics are pretty slick as well

Great game. Fun and unique play style, especially if you're into medieval and magic. My biggest issue with this game is that there is no ANTI-CHEAT system. Had an experience in 9v9 where we played with this one guy, seemed like a legit good player, I won a lot of our fights and suddenly started to dominate everyone when his team was losing big. Literally landed every shot on me, even when I was invisible. Found the guy's youtube page and he admitted that he was using aim bots.

Highly recommend this game for everyone to play. The game has really a lot of potential to be one of the best in the market. But expect to play with a lot of hackers. This has been a problem with the game since closed beta and has yet to even be resolved.

I got 10 days played on Epic Game launcher
i'm so thrilled its now on steam so i can stop using Epic haha

This game is amazing compared to other BR's
RNG is hardly a factor it's all skill based, some match-ups are very unfavourable when it comes to class vs class
but knowing what you can and can't do with the class you're playing makes every encounter unique and skill based which i love.

No guns just crazy spells and movement, love this game I really hope it takes off now it's back on steam and fully released.

PICK THIS UP I'TS A FREE FUN REFRESHING BATTLE ROYAL WITH A 9v9 AND NEW MODES TO COME!

Spellbreak deserves a place among the other Battle Royale greats. It breaks away from the others in the genre and does so with amazing polish, thoughtful design, and is most importantly just so much fun to play and easy too.
Although im not happy with them banning their users from steam community hub just for saying epic.

Played clash expecting a TDM got a watered down battle royale mode.

Will play if they introduce a proper TDM with no BR nonsense.

Pretty cool actually. The battle royal formula has been sucked dry by so many companies looking to make a quick buck, but thankfully this game has unique enough mechanics to be worth giving a shot. Plus the other game mode (Clash 9v9) is a fun alternative if you really hate typical BR. (I personally prefer Battle Royal)

The graphics are nothing new or spectacular, they look almost exactly like fortnight, but you don't play these games for the graphics. This game really shines in it's class based elemental combat.

Everything rides on if the devs will continue support and pump out regular updates, not just new battlepass stuff with cosmetics. Will update upon more playtime, but it's free, give it a shot.

Update: After a couple more hours of gameplay it's only gotten better. I've had some really intense battles a few close wins a few close losses. All fun. A couple downsides have shown up though. The map is a good size I'd say, but I still find myself having a few minutes of no interaction where I'm just kinda looting random chests and wandering around looking for people. I guess that's just the way BR works.

Another thing is matchmaking is taking slightly longer than I'd hope. [strike] Maybe 2 - 3 minutes for solo que, granted, I am playing on a monday morning, so maybe during a peak hour it will be better. [/strike]
Unfortunately matchmaking has been taking more and more time for me. Solo Que in NA it'll be 5-10min to get enough people for it to start, and even then half the players are bots.

I think the game would really benefit from a 2v2 or 3v3 ranked arena style mode, much like the game Battlerite. The combat is so good, and it would be fun to be able to focus on set combatents instead of just mosh-pitting it.

Overall, really fun and free. I hope it sticks around a while.
