leider ist der multiplayer tot und ne kampagne is auch nicht verfügbar. das spiel ist super easy und an sich ein richtiger hammer. leider musste ich es zurückerstatten weils halt einfach tot ist.
von der handhabung und vom spielspaß geb ich ne 5 von 5 (ich rede hier vom tutorial)

Offline kann man das Tutorial noch machen. Seine erlerntes Können messen jedoch nicht mehr, da die Server kaum Gegner finden. D.h. der Multiplayer ist sehr schwer, solange man nicht sich über Discord verabredet.

SPARC ist ein 2 player vs Cybersquash .... ihr müßt versuchen , den Gegenspieler mit einem Energy Ball abzugeben werfen und selbst nicht getroffen zu werden. Dabei habt ihr , je nach spielmodsu auch ein Schild zur verfügung und könnt die Wände des Spielraumes zum abprallen der Energiebälle benutzen ... Ein Riesen Spaß und Fitness Program. Dank Xrossplay können PC und PSVR spieler mit bzw. gegeneinander antreten.

Freunde, holt euch das Spiel, ihr schwitzt mehr als in Beatsaber.
Wir sind zwar noch Wenige aber Einsteiger-freundlich und genau so unsportlich wie der Rest.
Arm tut Morgen halt weh...

Echt cool, natürlich kommt es auch darauf an, auf welche Mitspieler man trifft.
Wie fordernd und taktisch so ein Spiel werden kann, bei fortgeschrittene Spiele die keine Zeitbegrenzung haben kann das ganz schön lange werden, und man ersehnt nur noch das Ende, den Sieg :-)

Außerdem muss ich da anderen Review Verfassern Recht geben wenn man sich da rein hängt um zu gewinnen spürt man nach längerer Spielzeit überall Muskelkater :-)

Absolute Kaufempfehlung

PS. Weil ich gelesen habe dass es Probleme gibt Spieler zu finden, kann ich nicht ganz so stehen lassen, ja es stimmt dass man auf den Amerikanischen Servern mehr Spieler findet wie auf den Europäischen (diese sind nun mal nicht standardmäßig aktiviert). Finde dies aber als kein Problem über die Amerikanischen Server zu spielen, denn das Spiel funktioniert ohne jegliche Verzögerungen.

2. Dass man stundenlang wartet dass Spieler kommen kann ich nur teilweise bejahen, meines Erachtens gibt es da ein Zuteilungsproblem, denn wenn ich in ein leeres Spiel rein komme und dieses wieder sofort verlasse und neu suche, kam ich bis jetzt jedesmal wieder in ein Siel mit 2 oder 3 Mitspieler

Das Spiel scheint nicht mit der Oculus Rift kompatibel zu sein. Um den Ball mit maximaler Geschwindigkeit zu werfen, muss ich in entweder in einem physikalisch nicht sinnvollen Moment loslassen oder meine Hand in einen unnatürlichen Winkel bringen. Dazu kommt, dass die europäischen Server vollkommen leer sind. Mehrmals habe ich bis zu 10 Minuten in der Warteschlange verbracht und es dann aufgegeben. Auf den amerikanischen Servern trifft man zwar auf Spieler, der Netzwerkdelay scheint das Werfen allerdings vollkommen unmöglich zu machen, so dass der Ball in vollkommen falschen Winkeln davonfliegt.
Da es ausserdem keinen Singleplayermodus, mit der Möglichkeit gegen einen NPC zu spielen gibt, sondern nur eine Wurfmaschine, mit der man das Blocken und Werfen üben kann, rate ich vom Kauf ab.

Das Game hat eine Nette Idee, sieht gut aus und man bewegt sich wirklich sehr viel. CCP preist dieses Spiel als neue Sport Revolution an und planen Ligen etc..

Typisch CCP gehen die die Sache alles wieder nur halbherzig an. Dadurch die keine aktive Werbung machen ist dieses Spiel ziemlich leer. Es gibt kaum bis keine Spieler. Ich bleibe doch nicht 1 Stunde eingeloggt um zu hoffen dass ein anderer Spieler on kommt...

in meinen Augen hat es CCP wieder einmal nicht geschafft etwas Vernünftiges herauszubringen.

Ich spiele SPARC jetzt sein zwei Tagen und bin beide male mit einen Muskelkater in meiner Schulter aufgewacht. Trotz dem geringen Umfang macht es verdammt viel Spaß. Die Grafik ist schlicht aber passt sehr gut zum spiel. Das Motiontraking funktioniert reibungslos und Probleme mit der der Verbindung zum spiel sind bei mir auch nicht vorgekommen.

Das einzige woran SPARC scheitern könnte ist die doch sehr begrenzte Playerbase bei VR Spielen,
die schon so einigen guten Multiplayertiteln zum Verhängnis geworden ist.

What happened to this game? I loved it when I first got it, and would regularly work up a sweat playing it. I've tried to show it off to friends a few times lately and nobody else is ever playing. As a primarily multi-player game I can't recommend it when the game lobby is always empty. :(

Best VR game I've played so far. Very physically demanding. If you're not soaked in sweat after a couple matches, you're not trying hard enough.

Too bad there's not a lot of people playing it right now, but I can always find someone to play with on the evenings (European time).

There's a lot of potential. It is a superb VR experience with great visuals.

The game offers a practice mode of sorts to get you familiar with how the game works and to challenge yourself against the scores of other players - throwing or deflecting towards a target. A few minutes of this will get your set for Multiplayer/ PvP/ Online Play against other real players, which is where this game wants to shine the most.

Multiplayer is where the game is lacking. There isn't many people, if at all, to play against. A number of Facebook groups (among other social medias) that present themselves as Sparc communities, however, they do not accurately represent the numbers appearing in Multiplayer. I will commonly find upwards of 2 to 4 people playing during evening North America timezones at most - and that's on the rare occasion I happen to find anyone.

If you like throwing balls at stationary targets, this is what the game boils down to. Multiplayer is the same, you'll be a lot more active while doing so - and that's IF you can find someone to play with.

Wish I could recommend this, but there are other VR games that'll get the blood pumping. Otherwise, just go outside and throw a ball at a wall.

I've had a bit of Fun in VR and this has provided some of the best. Easy to get into, Fun to play, and it just makes you keep saying one more game. Hope the player base stays with this one.

This game is dead, only multiplayer with no players available - even in cross platform. Needs computer AI or its useless to buy. Wierd as its one of the top games on PSVR, sold 10 copies or what??

Best VR game hands down. You can usually find people to play with, but the playerbase is still really small. Game has a really high skill ceiling.

I have bodyache now after playing this game for just 90 minutes yesterday!
But well worth every penny of mine! Very awesome game!
It feels that I am playing dodgeball in real life (when in advanced mode).
Thumbs up Sparc!

My only wish is for other modes of playing and more updates!

Only just getting into it now but I would still recommend it already. It's fun to play, gives you some exercise and Im yet to comw across one slightly toxic player. Sure, maybe it's just cause it's new and shiny for me but I can't get enough of this game.
The gameplay is kinda like squash and dodgeball that gets some boxing elements in basic. Advanced isn't necessarily harder but is instead a different gamemode entirely. The experience is like VRchat in the way that you meet new people from around the world and just talk about whatever while making your avatar do funny stuff in the lobby. This leads to people having an impromptu training session with helpful hints given without any question and, even though I fail most games, I feel like I've learned something nearly every time I play.
This game is on so many headsets now that I genuinely think this could easily be the most physical, fun and challenging esport while being as accessible as a VR game can be. Unless you get frustrated ridiculously easily, I urge you to get this game on whatever platform you have and play until you can't move.
Bonus tip: Play the tutorial then do a sparing amount of challenges to get the hang of it. Let yourself learn on quick play. Those scary better players will likely happily help you improve whether they give advice or just experience. Enjoy yourself and let yourself learn naturally.

Fun but not too many players. Wish I could keep track of my stats across games. Not sure how easy it is to set up matches among friends. When you get a game going though it is quite fun. Pretty easy to disable people talking if you are not into that.

Fantastic! This is a lively fast-paced vsports showdown between two players. Gets your heart pumping and your competitive spirit fired up. I got it on sale, but honestly it's probably worth full price. Best vsports game I've played,visuals are great!

TL:DR

The only reason I'm writing this review is because I'm waiting for my controllers to charge to start playing again, and don't forget to stretch.

The Gameplay

The rules are extremely simple, you throw the ball at your opponent in the aim of hitting him to score points. You either dodge or block your opponents ball. If your ball goes through the circle behind your opponent, you gain a strike, which increases the size and speed of your ball, which resets when you get a point. Who ever has the most points after 2 minutes wins. If it's a tie, you'll play sudden death where the next person who scores wins. If nobody scores before 1 minute, it ends in a tie.
However, the gameplay is not simple. Because of the simplicity of the rules, you can get very complex strategy. Which I'm not going to go into because I don't have enough time before my controllers finish charging.

Character Customization

You heard right! You can customize how you look! Boy is it fun! It's definantly an experience I wasn't expecting from this game. Be prepared to spend an hour customizing yourself, and checking yourself out in the mirror. This is how I imagine women feel like when clothes shopping. I'm just glad I don't have some poor chap waiting on me in the store lobby.

The Community

This is by far the best thing about the game. You don't understand. You haven't experienced anything like this before. The community is fucking god tier. Everyone is so friendly, it's infectious. Almost everyone says good luck and good game. Your opponent compliments you, and you back. Even the spectators congradulate you when you do a good job. If you're not as good as your opponent, you'll often end up getting advise from them. People will often ask if you want to go first before joining the que.

Physical Demand

This game is somewhat physically demanding. If you're not careful, you will throw your arm out. Strech your arms and shoulder blade when ever you can. Looking up pitcher streches is not a bad idea. Have water close, and don't forget to strech. You will work up a sweat.
