EXPANSIVE CAMPAIGN
Many real-world locations have been captured using photogrammetry to recreate a living, immersive environment, and multiple infiltration and extraction points and kill list targets provide a whole new perspective on each mission. Take on the Nazi plot solo or work with a partner, with improved co-op mechanics allowing you to share ammo and items, give orders and heal each other.

ADVANCED GUNPLAY PHYSICS AND TRAVERSAL
Use ziplines, slide down slopes and shimmy along ledges to reach the perfect vantage point, or to sneak past a sharp-eyed lookout. Factor in rifle stock and barrel options along with gravity, wind and heart rate while you line up your sights on the target.

HIGH CALIBRE CUSTOMISATION
Use workbenches to customise and upgrade virtually every aspect of your weapon – change scopes, stocks, barrels, magazines and more. Rifles, secondaries and pistols all have a huge variety of options. On top of that you can select the ammo to suit your target, from armour-piercing right down to non-lethal.

INVASION MODE – CAMPAIGN DROP IN PvP AND CO-OP
Invade another player’s Campaign as an Axis sniper and engage in a deadly game of cat and mouse, providing a new dimension to the challenge as you stalk your prey. Alternatively, as Karl you can call for assistance and have a second sniper drop in to help you out of a tricky situation.

TENSE ADVERSARIAL MULTIPLAYER
Customise your character and loadout and earn XP, medals and ribbons as you take on intensely competitive 16 player battles that will really test your sharpshooting skills. If co-op’s more your style, you can team up with up to 3 other players against waves of enemies in Survival mode.

ENHANCED KILL CAM
More realistic and grisly than ever, the trademark X-ray kill cam returns, showing you the true destructive power of each shot. Bones deflect bullets unpredictably, ripping a new path through enemy bodies. SMGs and pistols can also trigger kill cams, including multiple shots in dramatic slow motion.

Ein sehr schönes Spiel mit coolen Effekten und Videos, kann ich nur empfehlen .

Schönes Spiel und macht Spaß. Das die Story aber nach 27 Std. durch ist finde ich nicht so Toll. Dabei habe ich mir schon im Spiel viel Zeit genommen. Das dieses Spiel aber nur Geld generieren möchte sieht man schon allein an den DLC. Für zusätzliche Story hätte ich schon Geld gezahlt aber für ein paar Skins und eine neue Aufgabe, nah ja wer es hat...... Leider wird das die neue Realität in der Spielewelt. Das Spiel zerstückeln und alles einzeln Bezahlen lassen. Bringt Kohle ohne etwas neues zu Programmieren. Schön Melken. Teil 1 bis 4 hatte vieles inklusive. Schade, gier macht das Spiel Kaputt. Treibe mich gerade im Mehrspieler Modus rum. Bis jetzt konnte ich noch keinen Richtig beschuldigen das er Cheatet was nicht heißt das es hier keine von den Eier losen ohne Selbstvertrauen gibt den die sind wie die Mücken überall und lästig!!

I have played the previous games 1-4 and this game is by far the best in graphics and multiplayer mode. I love the sniping No Border Cross maps

I've really enjoyed the Sniper Elite Saga since its early beginnings, playing coop since Berlin over Africa, Italy and now France. However I just couldn't catch the sniper fever in the 5th game. I played the first four maps and the setting, the targets, everything became worse after the very first mission. The first mission let's you play in Normandy, it's a coastal area, small hills, a tiny village, a big radar station, some orchards. I explored every tiny corner of that map, I adored it.

Then came the second mission. You start in a foresty area and have multiple ways to reach the castle/manor. So far, so good. The target and every other mission objective is inside the manor. Not in the perimeter of it, inside a multi-floor manor. You have two options, either sneak for an hour or accidentally triggering the alarm, going in full rambo with your sub machine gun. To finish the mission you have to get into a specific room, very unsnipery attitude if you ask me.

I thought to myself alright, maybe this one mission is the exception, let's try the next one. Your target? Get into a highly secured cathedral. Walled of. With tight street corners, a lot of corners, barely any free sight. Tiny bridges. Oh and you have to go all in, inside the temple on the very top floor. Snipers on choke points. But, what, why? You have a lot of silenced weapons, even some non-lethal ones, but what's the point if you have to kill specific guards, get discovered and the whole map escalates to a warzone. The coop and the new pvp campaign mode are fun, so is the customization, but the DLC mania is really over the top. I've stopped playing it.

75/100: Sniper Elite is now a familiar ride and somehow the signature slow-mo bullet kill-cam never gets old. This iteration is quite versatile. Snipe from afar, run and gun up close, stealth around and go stab mode for a bit. The levels are quite nicely done in general, large with some great sniping lines, multiple objectives, and plenty of nooks and crannies to explore for secrets.

The AI is pretty dumb. Classic shooting gallery stuff, running back and forth aimlessly and popping their heads out of cover to give you a target. But I suppose that's what makes it fun in the end. There are some customisable difficulty settings allowing you to choose how much the game assists you and some other handicaps for those who enjoy the punishment.

It's good for a couple of runs with a buddy but doesn't hold much replayability as a single-player game unless you want to chase achievement medals for the sake of it. The PvP invasion mechanic is an interesting concept though and can provide an extra layer of excitement. The other multiplayer modes seemed to be dead / laggy servers so I didn't bother much.

Story line is serviceable but forgettable. Graphics are good, no complaints.

Overall, worth it on a 50% special. The season passes look like a big ripoff though; £55 base price for 5 new maps (1 is very small) and a bunch of worthless weapons and skins. This is worse value than the base game and a rather insulting price. I would only grab them on a deep discount if I felt like one more spin through the new maps with a buddy.

I read some pretty nasty reviews on this. If you play it like a sniper it's a great game. You can't go in guns blazing or you won't like the game at all. I've got all 5 iterations of this and I enjoy this one quite a lot. I'd say it's #2 or 3 in the series for me.

As a senior citizen/gamer I enjoy some combat that isn't too intense for my dexterity. Using the lower two levels of game play, I was able to compete the series in about 40 hours. I will try a higher level to see if I can progress without getting killed too many times. Lots of alternative approaches to success and challenges for an old timer and I suggest this game to others with game proficiency challenges.
