We have amazing news for you today: Thanks to our work on the new sequel, Realpolitiks 3: Earth and Beyond, we have been able to incorporate some of the newly developed tools and technologies to Realpolitiks II, fixing a major issue that we have not been able to address before - the dreaded time-freeze bug. We will be looking for even more opportunities to use the tools and engine upgrades newly developed for Realpolitiks 3: Earth and Beyond to improve not only Realpolitiks II, but the original Realpolitiks as well. We hope to prove to you that the development of the new sequel is beneficial for the franchise overall; while we are pushing the series forward with the new installment, we do not want to just forget about its roots.

However, we also want to make full use of the new engine and bring forth features and gameplay options that simply are not possible to implement into the originals. We would like to take a moment to introduce some of the many possibilities you can look forward to when the game launches later this year, from new combat system to a reimagines approach to your leadership character and long-term effects of your decisions on your nations "Way of Life".
