Skirmish Closed Beta is now live and it will end on May 27th [9:00 UTC/13:00 PDT]. After that we'll post an update with plans for the future.
Every person that we chose to take part in this beta should get information about how to enter on their email shortly.
About Skirmish Closed Beta
Closed beta is a chance for us to show you what we've been working on and get your early feedback before we release a final version for everyone to play.
Important note: There are two features that we want you to take a closer look at.
- Slow motion that you can go in and out of by pushing Left Alt Key
- Prophet's strategy toggle between attack and auto-convert under Caps Lock Key.

We also prepared some Tips&Tricks for new and returning players
1.Sanctuary
First of all remember to keep your eyes on Sanctuary which is your main base and headquarter. If enemy destroy the building than well… game over. Sanctuary also automatically heals your troops, that are around and serves, by default, as a rally point for all your new Followers. It is also a place where you can resurrect your Prophet after his death in battle.
2. Converting
In every Cult the most important are Followers. To build your religion and your army you need people, believers, souls. As The Prophet you can convert neutral Citizens or even enemy units to join your side, simply by right-clicking on them. You can also perform a Sermon, which fills with Faith all units that are around you and by that you can convert a whole group of Citizens or weak heretics. Of course you don’t have to do all of that by yourself. Irreplaceable Preachers can help you in the fight for new souls, but more about them later.
3. Anointing
Newly converted Followers are weak and not useful in a fight. They can serve only as cannon fodder, unless you Anoint them. You can do that by selecting Follower and clicking on proper icon in control panel. Chosen believer will change into more powerful, fighting unit like Fanatic, range unit like Purifier or unstoppable Ascendent One. You can also turn Followers into non-fighting, but equally important units like Worshipers, Hackers and mentioned Preachers. The last ones can convert neutral Citizens and enemy units to your Cult, so they’re necessary on every battlefield. Remember that Anointing costs Faith and Crypto, also not all units are unlocked in the beginning. You can gain access to more Anoints by hacking special buildings.
4. Resource Buildings
No Prophet or general won a war without resources. In Re-Legion you can find three: Faith, Crypto anc Citizens. They’re necessary for Anoints, upgrades and using skills. You can get Faith from buildings called Temples if you’ll assign them with some Worshipers to pray in your name around the building. Followers provide you small amount of Faith also by gathering and praying around Sanctuary. You can get Crypto on similar terms from CryptoBank if you’ll assign some Hackers to dig dirty money from the dark web. In both buildings you can by default assign only four units, but if you’ll upgrade the building you can assign more. The more Worshipers/Hackers are connected to the building the more resources they provide. Remember to protect your source of resources or your fight will end quicker than expected!
5. Other special buildings
Besides of Temples and CryptoBanks there are many other special buildings on the map like GunShops, Dojos or Black Clinics. You can take control over them by hacking them. You can do it, as The Prophet, or you can send hackers to do it for you. Remember, the more special buildings you control, the more units you can have. Also those structures unlock extra upgrades and special skills for your units. Controlling special buildings is one of the most important aspects of the fight for The City, do not underestimate your enemy and aim to at least control more buildings than they do.
