Eins der besten Need for Speed Spiele aus der Reihe. Sind paar kniffelige Missionen dabei. Und die Cop Karriere ist einfach nur geil und die Autos sind geil. Jeder der Autorennen mag sollte sich dieses Game holen

Das Spiel ist oky und macht Spaß,noch leider gibt es kaum noch ONLINE SPIELER aktuell wartet man mach Mal 20 Minuten -1 stunde auf Spieler. Schade das Game nicht mehr gespielt wird. natürlich weiß ich es gibt neue Spiele Titel diese sind mir einfach noch teuer wie das 2019 erschienen Game.
Leider ist auch da zusagen, dass die Entwickler sich keiner Kritik annehmen. Was sehr schade ist, dann Grade die Serie Need for Speed hätte viel Potenzial. Man nehme Forza Titel von Microsoft die sind einfach unschlagbar

If before I thought my computer was shit, laggy and cars are uncontrollable, then having moved to a more powerful iron and downloaded the game, I realized that the cars in this game - uncontrollable irons, which is impossible to drive. I really tried, but the feeling is that the cars are irons, turn sluggishly and barely, in addition the little promo before the race makes my eyes very hurt. Sorry, I could not play it too long.

A publisher should not be able to remove a game from the Steam store, then simply repost it so that people must buy it again to restore online functionality. EA sucks, thumbs down.

I hate the way the cars feel when drifting. Other wise a pretty OKAY game for its time and age.

6/10 maybe a 7/10 because they talk about the cars when you pick them. Every car game needs that.

Dont get misguided by my review. I love NFS:HP 2010. I am glad i paid money for this game.However you gotta understand i must give a thumbs down because of EA and their never ending greed.

this game cant be purchased anymore.there is a ''better'' remastered version with 4 times the original price.One day they will shut down it's servers too. Just like this game. Just like NFS:the run in the recent news.If you really love NFS buy it for singleplayer offline play only. If you want a never ending multiplayer experince dont forget to set LAN or use Hamachi Gameranger type of priavite gaming networks you will find people to play the games you like.I hope.

One piece of advice: Always buy EA's games on sale.Because you pay full price for full game only. EA will shutdown every nfs game's online play sooner or later. So pay only for singleplayer. you wont regret it.

After a couple of disappointing entries such as Pro Street , Shift and Undercover , finally EA managed to deliver an over the top arcade racing entry for 7th generation console and pc based on the strong foundation of cop vs racers setting of NFS Hot Pursuit 2 released back in 2002 . With stunning graphics , varied locations , cleverly designed tracks with lots of short cut to found and huge assortment of luxury spots car , NFS Hot Pursuit is one of the most exhilarating entries in the series . And the best part , there is no free roam . Just pick your event and jump straight into the adrenaline pumping races or cop chases no questions ask .

But I would have really appreciated if EA included a solid playlist in this entry just like THEY DID WITH mw ( 2005 ) and Underground 2 which helps us to keep pumped and exciting during the races . Also I would like to mention there are no car customization option which would have added a real emmersion , personalisation and added more value to this entry .

Finally , this is one of the must play titles for any arcade racing fans .

Decent game, but it's unplayable due to a message that pops up saying 'This controller is not setup properly'. It appears right across the middle of the screen, even in the menu where you're actually trying to change the controller options, and the controller is working fine anyway.

The only thing that's not set up properly is the stupid message blocking my view telling me how my controller that is working perfectly is not set up and won't work properly.

I know it's an old game and I'm using a Series X controller, but that doesn't make it any more playable, and it's garbage with a keyboard so I can't really recommend buying this.

Oh, and there is SO much crap about signing into servers that no longer exist to share stuff with your friends, which apparently ten years ago every racing game decided was a 'must force on players' feature. It takes forever just to get into the game and start playing in the first place anyway.

My favourite NFS game of all time. The police chases as a racer are very exciting to play and are a lot of fun. Playing as police is also really fun since you can wreck the racers or bust them using weapons. Also the chill races where you have to complete them inside of a time limit are fun and make you better at racing. I personally liked the police side of the career more. Great game, excellent soundtrack also.

Don't buy the Remaster!
Why? Because this OG 2010 version is better. It looks better, it drives better, and you can use your steering wheel if you have one. It's more refined and less glitchy and buggy than the Remaster. They did a very sloppy job with that Remaster.
But if you want those extra DLC cars that were on the consoles, then get the Remaster.

Dude how low can EA stoop.! I bought this game for a little above $1 and now they not only remove it from the store the remastered one which is literally the same game and costs $30. Nice move EA,

removing the original game from steam and release a so-called 'remastered' version in which almost nothing has been changed, just to ask for another 30€. I was actually really looking forward to the remastered version, but that's just cheeky and another figurehead of a greedy company.

A massive positive coming from this game is the graphic still looks great for its time - and it runs butter smooth at 60 FPS (idk how to disable the V-Sync from in-game sadly). Also, be sure to disable some cores of this game via Task Manager to get the rid off the spike lag bug. Cheers Criterion!

What lacks from this game is the requirement of you to remain online if you want to use Photo Mode and avoid to use any DLC or Mod.

Because the game has lack of potential for replay value, consider use mod by the name 'Use any cars in Single Player Events', which allow you to use weakest possible vehicle on every SP events intended for higher tier cars for actual challenge. Again, bear in mind using this will disable your ability to keep Autolog remain online.

So what if the original Hot Pursuit 2010 can't be purchased anymore?
You had 10 years to buy this. I bought this game years ago on Origin and then on Steam. I also have a retail copy of it.

The game is good and doesn't deserve the negative reviews. I'm going to review the game and not EA's decision: This game is great and I have hopes that the remastered version will also be great.

Hot Pursuit 2010 was the best Need for Speed we had for a long time in 2010. Choose a car, choose a color for your car, choose a track and play - this simple concept is the same concept that the original Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit had.

The Underground-era fans already had Payback and Heat, so now probably it's time that the Hot Pursuit fans get a new game too.

Also, the Command and Conquer remastered collection was great so I don't see why would anyone hate on the remastered Hot Pursuit 2010. Evidence suggests it will be a good remaster. I already purchased it.

with the Remaster of this game being released, they removed the capabilities of purchasing this version

basically the same quality as the remaster but for way less of the cost. great game and one of the few times break to drift has been successful

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit has a cop versus racer presentation that serves as the core of the experience. The effective management of spike strips, electromagnetic pulses, helicopters, road blocks, and turbo creates unique situations, especially in online play. However, it can be difficult to find an online lobby since you cannot join a race that is already in progress and the game doesn't have a large player base anymore. There is plenty of content to explore in the single-player career mode though. Featuring both cop and racer events, you will unlock many cars for both sides. The feel of drifting tight corners and circling roads is incredible once you learn it and is part of what I remember most from my time playing. If you are looking for a racing game that firmly stands next to the likes of others such as the Burnout series, then welcome to Seacrest County! Stay on the asphalt. Game on.

No nonsense racing game. This is what Need For Speed was meant to be. The car selection? Fantastic. The soundtrack, thrilling. The landscape available to drive in this game is varied more than the newer games. The ability to play as a cop just as satisfying as a racer. There is a reason I am still playing this game in 2020. EA and Criterion got everything right.

This game from 2010 still holds up really well, it would be amazing to see a sequel to this.

+ Beautiful graphics, cant believe this game looks so good after 10 years.
+ Cars and landscapes look great and deatailed.
+ Nice car selection.
+ Both racer and cop modes are simple and fun to play.
+ Free roam mode.

- No manual transmission (I know that this is an arcade racing game and not a simulator).
- Soundtrack could be better but thats just my opinion.
- Cant access autolog. This doesnt seem to affect the game other than to compare stats with friends, it may affect multiplayer mode but I did not try that mode.
- No car customization but thats ok with me, I like how you progress and unlock better cars.
- No achievments.

Hot Pursuit is the best modern Need For Speed game reintroducing the good ol' expensive exotic cars and intense cop chases with great graphics and gameplay. Despite being a decade old, it is still timeless and very, very playable. Even Heat is dead. F

I used to play the hell out of this on PlayStation when it launched back in 2010.

This is in my opinion, the last truly great NFS game and stands toe to toe with Underground 2 as the best NFS game of them all. It is everything the series is about with no bulls***.

Fast cars, breakneck speeds, fun, and simplistic mechanics that don't take away much from the actual driving and especially NO open world rubbish that is present in the newer titles.

Absolutely worth checking out if you haven't played it before, it may be 10 years old at the time of writing this review but it is still miles better than a majority of the arcade racers coming out at the moment.

Happy to report it plays just as well on PC as it did on console, graphics still hold up really well but it does have some of that old skool PS3 vibe (which isn't a bad thing). I do advise using a controller though, as with any racer on PC.

Still a bangin' 10/10

I have been playing this game for years now, and I can definitely recommend it to people who likes arcade racing.

Pros:
- Good graphics for its time of release
- Resembles the NFS Carbon drift handling
- Awesome collection of cars, lots to choose from
- You can play either Racer or Buster (Cop)
- Overall gameplay is satisfactory
- Has a free roam mode beside of its many race missions
- Has OK vehicle sound collection

Cons:
- Engine Sounds are little bit low even when turned all the way up
- Every corner you are somehow forced to drift, letting off the accelerator will make the car slide
- No customization available, all cars are stock

I had this game on Xbox back in the day, i bought it on Steam and the nostalgia hit me. It is definitely a big part of NFS that must be checked out.

Given that it's EA, you can expect such an amazing, fun concept of a game with licensed cars, has so much potential to be great and ... it's EA... so you can expect it to be 100% half A$$ed. Somehow EA is incapable of producing something perfect.

The good:
Graphics look great, even in 2020.
It's a fun game, specially if you want some quick arcade fun.

The bad:
No Manual Transmission option??? on a racing game??? Really???
Car feel is way too arcade... they could have made the cars behave better.
I recall the old hot persuit with the BM, I would buy cars an upgrade them... this game has none of that.
Just do races, you unlock cars you can jump into right away.

So yea, had potential, but it's truly a half a$$ effort... For this reason, I hit the No on recommendation.

Could not get the game started after getting it. Did all the tricks and all to get it work, nothing. Game did start for few seconds but crashes on the startup. Could work for someone, but not for me so i don't recommend getting this.

It has aged really well. The graphics look nice, the only downsides now would be the 60 FPS cap, and that windows doesn't like full screen applications (but there's a small simple fix for that).

The roster of cars is pretty nice, not a lot of tuner or more street-orientated cars, the game focuses more on the sports to hyper cars. The game doesn't have only customization except for picking between preset colors. There's one subaru (WRX STI), one mitsubishi (Lancer X), one toyota (RX8) and no ferrari. But a lot of other brands are present with a sizeable array. The brand with the most cars being Lamborghini with 9 cars.

When it comes down to the gameplay itself it's really nice. I only completed the racer campaign as the cop campaign isn't really what I enjoy.
The racer campaign is pretty nice, rubber banding isn't a serious issue here. The races are really fun and can be quite exiting.
The cop campaign comes down to taking down the racers. Personally I would rather play the burnout series if I wanted to crash people, but that's personal preference.

Still a great game (once patched against stuttering, see my guide)!
Very good gfx even in 2020, plenty of cars, free drive on the whole map, day-night cycle, good soundtrack...

This is awesome racing game, but not so good NFS game. It's in bottom half of NFS games, but still one of better racing games on market. Either playing as a driver or a police it's fun and challenging, it feels great to race with good music. The most annoying thing is crash cam, which you can't turn off so you have to watch it always in the middle of the race, it gets frustrating after a while.
