Die Story lohnt sich finde ich!

Die Dämonen nerven um ehrlich zu sein ziemlich, die Steuerung ist manchmal buggy, auch im Menü.
Irgendwie hatte das Game Probleme mit meinem Headset, es hat Rückblendungen über die Lautsprecher statt über das Headset abgespielt. Komisch.

Aber ich finde, das Spiel lohnt sich trotzdem allein für die Story :-)

Murdered: Soul Suspect ist ein Spiel zum zurücklehnen und entspannen.
Es ist ein sehr leichtes, aber doch ein sehr stimmiges Spiel.
Die Story ist unterhaltsam und nett erzählt.
Die Grafik war schon zu Release Zeiten schlecht, aber es ist kein Weltuntergang.
Das Gameplay ist ermüdend, deswegen sollte man das Spiel eher als einen netten Geister Krimi Film betrachten.

All die negativen Bewertungen der Presse zu diesem Spiel kann ich nicht bestätigen. Natürlich ist es kein AAA-Titel. Dennoch ist die Story gut und die Grafik selbst im Jahr 2020 immer noch sehr schön. Besonders jetzt im Oktober ist es ein schönes atmosphärisches Spiel das ich jedem empfehlen kann.

Eine sehr Spannende Story mit Überraschungseffekt.
Spielerisch etwas Schlauchig und sehr Einfach gehalten aber das holt die Story alles wieder Raus.
Nebenbei kann man Objekte Sammeln und Spannende Gruselige Geschichten Freischalten oder Infos über den Ort. Rundum sehr Gut gemacht.

Wer sich auf Ronan O’Connor und seine Geschichte einlässt, wird sich recht schnell dabei ertappen, dass die Neugierde obsiegt und es nicht nur darum geht Cassandra, Joys Mum, oder den Glockenmörder zu finden. Es macht viel zu viel Spaß mit anderen Geistern zu reden, von Lebenden Besitz zu ergreifen und in ihren Gedanken zu schnüffeln und auf diese Weise auch mehr über Salem und seine Bewohner zu erfahren. Aber auch Ronans Gedanken, wenn ein Ermittlungsfortschritt erzielt wurde, vertiefen die Verbindung zwischen Spieler und Figur und wecken das Interesse herausfinden zu wollen, warum O’Connors Frau tot und der Glockenmörder so mies drauf ist und jungen Frauen das Leben nimmt. Und was zum Teufel hat Javle „Rex“ Reyes (Chefermittler und Ronans Schwager) oder auch Officer Baxter (konnte Ronan zu Lebzeiten nicht besonders gut leiden) mit der ganze Sache zu tun. Fragen über Fragen, deren Antworten finden zu wollen ein steter Motor ist und dafür sorgt am Geschehen dran zu bleiben.

Gutes Spiel! Kläre deinen Mord und hilf den anderen Geistern ihren Frieden zu finden. Auf jeden Fall mal was anderes und mal abgesehen von den Dämonen, hat es mir persönlich sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Spielt es selbst! :-)

Hach, welch düster spannendes Sammlerglück!

Und von herzhaftem Lachen bis panischem Angstschweiß ist alles dabei. Mudered: Soul Suspect ist ein gelungenes Erzählstück. Man bekommt die Zeit und Freiheit, die man möchte, um zu erkunden, noch die kleinste Ecke zu entdecken oder sich einfach durch der Geschichte treiben zu lassen. Manchmal nachdenklich, mit gerunzelter Stirn, manchmal voller Sorge, manchmal traurig, amüsiert oder einfach nur neugierig.

Und das Ganze ist dann auch noch hervorragend und hochkarätig synchronisiert!

Das ganz hat nur einen echten Wehrmutstropfen: Hub und Steuerung mit Maus & Tastatur sind dermaßen Banane, dass leider immer mal wieder die Immersion drunter leidet. Man gewöhnt sich irgendwann dran. Es scheint trotzdem so deprimierend unnötig!

Aber lasst Euch davon nicht abhalten! Die Geschichten und Charaktere, die einem begegnen, sind es wert!

Murdered Soul Suspect is a third person adventure mystery stealth game where you play as recently deceased Detective Ronan O’Connor. As a ghost you will explore different areas of the town of Salem as you search for clues about the Bell Killer and his murder spree. Being a ghost gives you a new skillset in the afterlife that you couldn’t do in your previous one such as teleporting short distances, picking up on psychic memories on some objects, poltergeist activities, and even possession. These skills will help you to figure out the most important case of your life…who murdered you?

The story of Murdered Soul Suspect is engrossing from start to finish and follows a well written detective tale complete with likable characters, exploration, and engaging clue searching. The story, coupled with the unique concept, beautiful graphics, and some intense cutscenes makes for a memorable game that I had fun taking part in. However, not everything is perfect. I would have liked to have seen more of the supernatural potential explored. While the ghostly toolbox was fun it eventually boiled down to doing the same things repeatedly and I would have liked for the powers to gradually become more powerful or even new ones introduced later in the story.

The game is best experienced with a controller and even for somebody who doesn’t normally use a controller, it felt natural and was easy to use.

There are two types of achievements: Story and Collectibles. Simply completing Murdered Soul Suspect will get you the story achievements but these account for a small number of overall achievements. The real fun comes from finding the collectibles. While most are easy to find, there are several, including a whole collectible set, which can be difficult to find. Finding these collectibles gives you a better understanding of the world and some even include bonus spooky ghost stories to listen to. While you can attain all the achievements in one playthrough, it took me two times to get all of them…but I didn’t mind playing this game over again.

I enjoyed Murdered Soul Suspect immensely and had a wonderful time playing it. I got attached to the characters right from the start, and the witty conversations, the engrossing process of collecting clues, the sleek art style, and engaging gameplay made it a joy to experience. I recommend this game for those who like detective games, good stories, or for those who always wanted to play as a ghost in a game.

Murdered: Soul Suspect is a detective mystery game, with a supernatural twist. You play as Detective Ronan O’Connor, who was murdered by a serial killer nicknamed The Bell Killer while investigating his case. He came back as a ghost, and continues investigating the killer with the help of a teenage medium. The game takes place in the town of Salem, famously known for the witch trials centuries ago. You can free-roam here, and re-enter any previous area should you wish to.

As a ghost detective, the levels are for most parts non-restricting. You can walk through walls and doors once you're inside a building, but there are some ghost structures you cannot pass. Though I personally recommend sticking to the normal human paths because exploring like that can be disorienting. There aren't any combat, unless you count the demons that you must stealth kill by performing a QTE. It's one of the weak parts of the game, those demons are annoying.

The bulk of the gameplay is, of course, investigating. In many areas you will have to search for clues within a scene and make mental connections, like in the Sherlock Holmes games. Outside of that, there are 242 collectible items that you can collect to reveal more about the world and the characters. While it seems daunting, most of them are easily found due to them having unique names and emitting a yellow glow, you'll probably get most of them naturally. The graffiti ones can be hard to find though.

Personally, I think M:SS sadly doesn't use the full potential of the unique premise they had. There are sidequests, but are only some scene investigations. I was expecting more like maybe scaring/punishing bad people or the not-so-nice ghosts. While most of the game are free-roam, all collectibles inside the Museum are missable due to the final part taking place there, and no post-game free roam, which is always a bad thing in open-world games. The hub area can be a bit confusing to explore, and there's no map or fast travel.

Overall, Murdered: Soul Suspect is a pretty great mystery game with a unique theme, but it can be a lot better had they expanded it more. Give it a try if you like detective games. It's not a scary one as well, ghosts are basically just people with blue tint. If they're making a spinoff or there's another ghost detective games, I'll surely give them a try.

My only gripe is if you miss a collectible, its kinda hard to google and find out exactly which one you've missed -_-

It's been a long time since I last played, but I still remember my playthrough like it was yesterday, for better or worse.

Murdered, Soul suspect is one of those games that make me wish Steam had a way to give neutral ratings. It feels a little rough, partly due to the framerate being locked at 30 fps.

The game puts you in the shoes of Detective Ronan O'Connor, as he's tasked with hunting down a mysterious serial killer. The catch? He's one of the victims. He's literally a ghost and cannot move on to the afterlife until the case is resolved.

Thus begins an investigation throughout a town which really needed a map. The game does lead you to the next area, but without any way to navigate freely, it's impossible to go off and search for the collectibles hidden around town.

You are able to use a range of ghostly powers, you know, walking through walls, possessing cats and putting suggestions in people's heads so they do something helpful. The usual.
These are used for the game's main focus of investigation and exploration.

But then there's the demons, evil spirits that want to... I guess... absorb you or something?
Honestly they're just an irritating waste of time. All they do is slow the game to a crawl with stealth mechanics that feel seriously out of place. I think they were trying to add some sense of danger and conflict, but I didn't feel terrified when I saw them, just irritated that I had to put up with their %&$! before I could move on.

The story is at least pretty decent, and more horrifying than those annoying demons.

However, once you learn the killer's identity, the game then suddenly throws in a finale that just hurriedly resolves everything.

In fact, I suspect this game was finished in a hurry in order to meet a deadline. The ending is abrupt, Ronan's powers are not fully realised, and one of the best things about the game, the side missions from ghosts where you need to investigate how they died suddenly stop being given to you halfway through the main story.

The game feels unfinished, but it's decent enough if you have the time and money.

Though if you want a perfect game where you play a ghost investigating his own murder, go play Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective on the DS instead.

This is a nice little detective game. You got killed at the start of this game by an unknown killer and you transformed into a ghost, and now as a ghost you must investigate your murder. You will interact with both living and dead along the way. You collect clues, you can also possess people and cats. When you posses people you can read their minds, or influence them in ways you need.

When you possess a cat, you can jump on to higher places, or crawl through vent ducts. In other words, as a cat you will reach places you can not as a ghost. The world around you works in a way that you can enter any building you want if somebody left open doors or windows. If everything is shut, you can not enter the building. You can walk through the walls also.

The whole game is placed in city of Salem, where famous witches of Salem were trialed and burned, and you can as a side mission discover history of Salem. The game has appropriate atmosphere, but I wouldn't call it a horror game. At the end of the game there is unexpected turn of the events, and that makes the game even better.

It is quite short, it took me less then 14 hours to finish it, so wait for this game to be on a sale for a few dollars then buy it, its not worth 20€.

This isn't a run'&'gun, kill everything that moves, build a house from wood you've collected from a tree you've chopped down game. its a slow burning detective story with a unique concept/twist. $2 on sale.. worth every penny.

Fantastic game in this genre!
Original idea, story, gameplay. Full recommendation definitely. The game is underrated believe me. Buy it and don't think you made a mistake. As the story goes, it becomes more and more interesting and attracts more and more attention. This is real talk!

This game is extremely buggy. It's a low quality port of what looks like a decent console game. Not even 2 hours in and I've had to restart from last checkpoint, kill the process in the task manager because it refused to accept mouse input, and had a full game crash that erased my last bit of progress. Don't waste your money on this game, at least not on PC.

Enjoyed it for the first few hours that I played of it.

Nothing really special, but it has that B movie feel to it, which I like. Like the plot and gameplay are not that you'd find in usual games, but they're still fun in their own way.

While initially, you love the entire concept of ghost walking, its effect kind of wears off after some time, esp when those around you simply keep talking about 'the murder' or 'the killer'. I don't know, maybe someone else can put this idea to greater use in the future.

Didn't find the gameplay boring as such, if a bit simplistic.

Still full marks for the novelty, effort and the 'B movie' (B game?) feel.

A story about a detective getting murdered while on a case about a serial killer, and with the help of a girl who can see ghosts you search to uncover the truth behind your small town. The game is quite short, lasting less than 10 hours, but I would recommend getting it anyway, preferably if it's on sale.

It's one of those games that you just can't wait for it to finish, because the gameplay feels like a chore, but the story is just interesting enough to keep you going... It's a poorly executed 6 hour game, just watch the cutscenes on youtube in 2 hours or something.

L.A Noire with a darker twist and linear storyline, in a nutshell.

Having to investigate your murder was a pretty neat plot and enjoyable for the most part definitely a thumbs up for this one.

8.5/10 . This game pretty underrated. The story actually interesting. Most of the part hooked with the all the mystery and side story. And yes, the problem is on the save feature, and few glitch that can ruin the experience. The story is strongest part here, gameplay is just decent.

Awesome detective Game with a great Story, definitly worth the money.
Loved every minute of it except the ending (Gameplay wise), if you fail you just restart from prior checkpoint.

Only negative things about the Game i had so far are:
-Clues are most of the time on the nose, so no real detective work tbh but combining the Clues requires Brainpower
-Game got softlocked in the [spoiler]Church[/spoiler] if you disable VSync. Enable to fix the issue.
-You can play as a Cat multiple times but the Game never tells you how to jump. (Hold shift and left click when the indicator is shown)
-Mouse speed is insanely fast

Good story with excellent pacing, ties throughout that bring you back to earlier moments in the game. The world feels open to exploring and power progression matches the pace of the game. The best game to compare this to would be Heavy Rain, with it's extremely compelling narrative and minimal interactivity. Just sit back, enjoy a good ghost story, and occasionally get a little creeped out.

This game is actually good, the only thing I hate about this game is its autosave feature. I spent time finishing side cases and decided to quit because I was sleepy and the next morning I played again only to find out I went back to the last checkpoint of the game and all the side cases I finished were reset.

Very good game, story keeps going smothly, game is more a thriller than horror and its good, theres no those retarded jumpscares out of nowhere, but the dark and constant atmosphere and feel of mystery. Game itself is very easy, could be more a challenge with demons, but thats about it. The story ends nicely, surprising also. Good locations! Mental hospital is made great. Good mechanics of being a ghost. Amazing side stories - be sure to collect items to unlock, pretty interesting. One of signatures of this game are those ghostly images of people, appearing and disapearing around wherever we go, in historical outfits - like ghost kids sitting near stairs, fat boy with creepy face outside of window on roof etc. Worth playing? Yes!

An interesting idea for a game, especially being set in Salem too. Most of the gameplay involves solving investigations by finding clues and dodging demons. The gameplay can get a little repetitive after a bit but the story is worth playing and doesn't outstay its welcome.

Beats any cat Simulator out there!!! On a serious note, this game is incredible, you will be solving different types of murders and discovering who you really are. The concept and story of the game are fun, but I've spent more time hating the game than loving it.

- The saving (or lacking of) system is horrendous. You can't save, it's a checkpoint system that happens randomly, doesn't save after you've done important discoveries or progressed significantly in the game, it's just frustrating.
- Speaking of frustrating, the camera angles with the controls, annoying as hell.
- The clues you have to piece together do not follow any logic, it's mostly at random deciding if something is relevant or not.

I'm still playing the game just to see how it ends, but it's sucking the whole joy out of me, I regret having bought this terrible port from the consoles. It was in a sale with a big discount and I still regret it.

One of those underrated gems of gaming that you should play but rarely hear about anymore. This is one of those games where there is still a sense of innovation and trying unique ideas instead of following the trends without taking a risk. Again, I always say this, if you want something new and refreshing, play this game because it is unique and story gets more interesting the longer you play it. I admit it was hard for me to get used to controls and understand it's mechanics from the get-go but once I got used to it, it only got better from there.

Entertaining story and likeable characters, but not for a heavy gamer. This is much more of a movie you get to click through then a true open world game where choices matter and can change your outcomes. The demon interactions are your only real combat, and I found they would either run smoothly, or glitch requiring lots of restart wash and repeats.

Like many others, I think this story would make a stronger movie/series than it does a game. There's a ton of engaging dramatic elements with not much gameplay follow-up.

Overall, I would recomend for a chill playthrough when on sale.

Just spent 2h trying to go through the asylum's demons dying enough time to make Lara Croft blush. I watched more than 10 videos going through it, tried with a controller and a keyboard but no luck and I don't want to break anything.
This difficulty keys/buttons to eliminates demons is just plain impossible!! I did press the god damn keys /buttons and EVERY SINGLE FREAKING TIME the demon escapes my hold and kills me (3/4 times) or I just spend another 10 minutes running around hiding....
Add to this not enough save point and/or the non-possibility to save manually and I had to uninstall the game.
Too bad I'll never see the end, the story looked interesting as far as I went.

Short review :

I give this game a positive review only because I can’t give a neutral one. It doesn’t deserve a negative review either, but it is far from perfect. This game offers an intriguing story in the legendary town of Salem. The twist is that the main protagonist is a ghost victim of the murder he tries to catch. The story is worth the time you’d invest in it but beside that the game has not a lot to offer. Definitely grab it only if it’s on sale.

I.Form

a.Graphics

There is a certain form of polish when it comes to the graphics of this game. It is definitely a product of his time. The 3D models definitely have that weird “almost there” feeling that a 2014 game would have. Some faces are definitely weird, and the facial expressions are sometimes a bit off but overall, it is quite good. The numerous transitions between cutscenes and actual gameplay are masterfully handled, and you can see that the creator really tried to offer an almost “movie-like” experience.
One point to note however, and I only underline it because it sometimes made me want to scream, is that since the game tackles the realm of the dead and a murder mystery that is supposed to happen at night, everything in this game is in different taint of greys. That wouldn’t be too bad if the game didn’t ask you to collect a ton of collectibles through the story that are just grey things on top of grey floors or grey furniture. Toward the end of the game there was a cutscene with vivid colours and I told myself “omg I missed those”.
Also, the creators had the great idea to integrate ghosts in the game to make the realm of the dead more .... alive? However, they chose to go for jpeg images rather than 3D models. Those ghostly pictures disappear when you walk close to them, but they still do their job pretty well and are gracefully integrated.
b.Music and Voice Acting

As mentioned earlier, the creators really went for the “film-like” approach. Consequently, the voice acting follows suit and the rendition is pretty good, and some characters have even really good delivery. Music-wise, it is pretty repetitive and most of the time the idea is to give you really tense almost fading music to create a threatening atmosphere. However, as soon as enemies are on the map, the music change for a really tense music that I didn’t particularly enjoy. All in all, it’s pretty basic.

II.Content

a.Gameplay

The gameplay of this game is honestly mostly exploring different types of haunted places. Most of the time you just have to go from point A to point B while collecting glowing items on the floor. However to spice this walking through Salem, the creators imagined a few things.
The first one is that you are a detective, so imagine scooby-doo but without the goofy stuff. Sometimes you are presented with a scene full of clues and you have to collect them. After that you have to select the ones that seem pertinent to the case in order to process (sometimes a bit unjustified in my opinion). This is an interesting approach to the detective game, it is a bit sad that it is, however, barely touched upon in the game in comparison to the rest of the gameplay.
Another spice is the “combat”. Sometimes, demons will pop-up on the map and if you manage to sneak up to their back, you can kill them with a button combination. Nothing ground-breaking and often more annoying than anything.
Ultimately, the last element is that you are a ghost and with that comes a series of power proper to your ghost form. You can sometimes teleport, remove or make things appear or even see ghastly forms through walls. Ultimately this is also a feature that is badly exploited throughout the game and even secondary.... just a mean to get more collectibles.
b.Writting

This is the most interesting aspect of the game. The mystery of the killer of Salem is definitely something that you want to understand and if you don’t bother collecting everything you can get to the bottom of this in no time. I would say that the identity of the murder can be guessed quite easily if you follow the flow of the story which is a bit disappointing in the end.
When it comes to the writing of the characters, I’d say that sadly most of them are quite simple, one dimensional almost. The character of Ronan is shaped through the main story but also a ton of collectibles related to him. At the end, I can’t say I was that attached to any character and the very ending of the story was a bit anticlimactic to me. I was so invested in the mystery and the different murder but that was it.

III.Others

a.Replay Value

I honestly don’t feel like there is any replay value to that game. Why would you go through a walking simulator if you already know the answer to the mystery? This is a one-time experience for me.
b.Achievements

The game has 48 achievements and is super easy to 100%. Most of them are either collecting items through the game (200+) or following the story. If you want an easy 100% this is the game for you.
c.Price

The game normal price is 19.99€, this is nothing compared to the price it was on console (almost 60€) but still this price tag for such a short experience (10h to 100% and taking a lot of extra time) is still too high for me. My advise would be to wait for a discount (which happens quite often) and take it for 3 euros when you can.

I waited a long time before buying this game. Hadn't realized what a treat it is! Somewhat linear, but the writing is excellent! Reminds me of LA Noir mixed with The Darkness. XD But that's not really a fair comparison at all.

Gripping supernatural/detective experience with a fair bit to see, explore, and do. Worth the ride if you find it on sale! I'm just beginning it, but love it already.

Absolutely Phenomenal! The game play was a bit tricky at first, but they give you plenty of time to practice the more finicky bits. The plot was intriguing, the characters were great, and a beautiful mix of sandbox and linear story line. Took me all of 15 hrs to do a run through, which is not too long or too short for both play and story, but I loved it so much I want more of this!

I remember watching a let's play of this game around 5 years ago and stopping very early cause it bored me, I eventually got this game in a bundle and never paid much attention to it until recently.

I felt why not end this game since I have it.
I knew it was short so if it was bad it wouldn't last for too long at least, but to my surprise, I quite enjoyed the game actually, far from being perfect but I did see myself playing 7h in a row from start to finish to see the ending.

It is a detective game with a slight bit of horror in it, but not enough horror to make anyone disliking horror not playing it, since I am easily spooked myself and I found it very bearable there.
The game itself is very easy, do not seek a challenge with this game.

The story is average, I mean nothing that you'll remember for years but good enough to be followed, and to be interested in.
The dialogues are fine, the graphics still do the job as well.

The demons are a bit bothersome but I guess it add a little of horror to the game and make it unique, those demons are killable anyway and quite rare so.

I played the game with a controller and it worked very well but I didn't try the mouse/keyboard controls be warned that there are some QTE (Quick time event) whenever you have to kill a demon, those with a controller are very easy but with the keyboard I have no idea if it's the same, so be warned if you do not have a controller.

The game is around 7 hours long if you take your time which isn't that long but not all games need to be 50h long and for 2€ on sales you can clearly enjoy a nice evening or two on it.

Captivating cinematic game. Finished it in less than 7 h, missed some collectibles (72% in the end).

Not really replayable unless you're trying to 100% it for which a walkthrough would be useful probably as I tried my best at finding the collectibles every step of the way.

Game is pretty linear but makes an interesting story.

Not horror but is immersive.

I believe that this is a case of a horribly underrated game. Yes it's short time wise, but the story and interesting concept make it up for me. I've replayed it recently (finished it first at release on ps4) and I have to say it still holds up nicely in 2020.

I would rate this game a 4/5 Stars
Didn't run into any glitch bugs but there was some lag at times which could've been my laptop as a possible factor, not completely sure. There are a couple things that I'd like the devs to know, first off I appreciate auto save but being able to save the game at any time would've made the game more enjoyable for me, for example when you are fighting the demons and kill the first one but you die trying to kill the second one you have to completely start over from the last auto saved check point and this frustrated me to the point of almost being tedious. Secondly, when you miss some collectables throughout the game you can't just go to each individual building to find them after the game story has ended, instead you have to play the whole game over again from beginning to end with the story. It would've been nice to have a collectable counter on the screen for each level so you could try to find everything before ending each level. If these little changes would have been added I would've given 5 Stars instead of 4. Overall, I did enjoy most of the game as I thought the story line was good and held my interest, the music and atmosphere had a very creepy sinister vibe, the demons were creepy as hell, the voice acting was good, the game play was fairly fun. I liked helping the other ghosts as side missions and looking for clues and such. Adding those elements that I had mentioned prior only would've made this game much more enjoyable for me, but I still recommend it!

pretty average tbh, buy this game when it's on sale, it's not worth $26.95aud, I picked it up for like $5, played it for not even an hour, got really fking bored and uninstalled. One of the most obnoxious games that I've played, I bought it for the recommendations here on Steam, but the game is horrible.

It has a unique concept, a ghost cop that investigates his own murder, pretty cool, Right?

But the game is mostly cutscenes that reiterate the same things over, and over again, the presentation is dated and the animations are clunky even for the standards of the time, let alone for the standards of today.

Everything ranging from the terrible pacing, to the minimal interaction, ends up making the whole experience laughably bad when it's at its best, and horribly dull when it's at its worst.

And, sadly, it's mostly at its worst...

On paper, the idea of being an undead detective going after a serial killer sounds interesting. However, Murdered: Soul Suspect fails to translate this into interesting gameplay. The investigation aspect of the game is extremely simple: you interact with objects around a crime scene and put the clues together at the end. Outside of this, you mostly move from one point to another, as the objective demands. There are some sections where you have to deal with soul-sucking demons, and that's basically it for combat.

Collectibles are placed all around the environment to encourage exploration. However, the rewards are simply additions to the backstory, i.e. the events that preceded the game. Certain sets of collectibles unlock ghost stories, which are campfire-style retellings of supernatural events. I was hoping that the main story would be interesting, but it was also a mixed bag. I found the story to be somewhat predictable, and the severely limited cast adds to that predictability.

Overall, the game feels very average. It's not all bad, but it isn't interesting enough to be good either.

if you can ignore the bugs then this game is solid. it is even more fun when you try to get 100%.

also keep v-sync on since the game glitches in some parts when you have your fps unlocked beyond 30.

This game is just amazing!
It's like a visual-novel but it's AAA so it's so much more than that... It's like a movie!
The game's story is great, it has mystery, thrill and twists, it's told in a good way. Graphics are better than good (for its time). And the fact that the game has no actual combat is what makes it a timeless classic in my eyes. Yeah sure, it has some jank in it but what game doesn't anyways...
Everybody that loves a good story-based game HAS TO play this amazing game! And if this game every gets a remaster in the future... Oh boy oh boy!

Very nice story, great theme with ghosts. A lot of hidden items to collect. The game is dark, sometimes you can get scared.

Bardzo fajna fabuła, super motyw z duchami. Dużo przedmiotów ukrytych do zebrania. Gra jest mroczna, czasami można się przestraszyć.

I never played this game when it released because at the time it seemed kinda boring and i didn't really understand English
But now i finished and what can i say about the game is:
It has some nice graphics for the time
A nice Soundtrack
The story i mean is kinda ok is not something that will blow your mind
And the dialogue is kinda stupid sometimes
I mean joy is very fucking bipolar some things just don t fit but anyway
The game is sure not worth 60 bucks if it's on sale you should buy still
because it's something different

Murdered: Soul Supect

Однажды, в очередной раз предложения стима по скидкам, я наткнулся на эту игру. Примечательно, что стоила она сущие копейки, однако я вспомнил, что несколько лет назад (Когда игра только выходила) я решил её скачать, однако проходил по своей глупости с большой спешкой и особенно не вдумывался в сюжет. Поэтому, после недолгих размышлений, я всё же решился дать игре второй шанс, но в этот раз я решил проходить её более осознано, читая заметки и проникаясь сюжетом. Могу сказать с полной уверенностью, что я не капельки не пожалел.

Геймплей
Думаю, что нужно начать именно с него. Возможно, когда вы запустите игру в первый раз и решите ей проникнуться, то именно он вам и может испортить всё впечатление. Скажу сразу, по моему мнению, игровой процесс в игре реализован не самым лучшим образом, я бы даже сказал, что это самая слабая сторона проекта. Изредка могут встреться такие места, где вы даже не сможете банально пройти (Явное такое место могу припомнить только в начале игры, но всё же такие моменты могут серьёзно подпортить впечатления от игры). Так же по ходу игры нам будут встречаться демоны, однако, имхо, они вообще самая ненужная часть игры. Если их вырезать, то ничего не поменяется, разве что из игры исчезнут небольшие моменты стелса, которые больше мешали, нежели разбавляли игровой процесс.

Продолжительность
Думаю, что стоит упомянуть и про неё. В отличии от большинства современных проектов, эта игра проходится довольно быстро (У меня ушло +-8 часов на 1 прохождение), тут нет ни гринда, ни каких искусственного растяжения игры (Разве что только моменты со стелсом (Демонами), но они не такие большие и в общей сложности больше минут 30-50 вы на них за всю игру скорее всего не потратите). Игра проходится довольно бодро и не успевает надоесть к концу игры, я бы даже сказал, что её продолжительность просто идеальна.

Сюжет
Это, по моему мнению, самая сильная сторона игры. Если коротко, то завязка игры такова: Вы детектив, который погибает от руки серийного убийцы, который держит в страхе весь город. После смерти, гг видит свою покойную жену, которая говорит, что тот обретёт покой после того, как завершит незавершённое дело своей жизни (В нашем случае, детектив считает, что это дело - поиск и раскрытие личности своего убийцы). Никаких подробностей давать не хочу, однако скажу, что сюжет в игре реально интересный, а конец просто сорвал башню, такого конца я точно не мог ожидать.

Вердикт

Игра смогла подарить кучу впечатлений, я остался доволен своей покупкой (Покупал за 59 рублей, если не изменяет память, но могу сказать, что и за полную стоимость игра всё равно была бы конфеткой). Советую всем любителям хорошей истории. Всем добра и хороших привидений :-)

This game was well written to discover the murder of Bell Killer. The plot thickens in order to uncover the truth with a twist towards the ending. Truthfully, I did not expect that ending at all walaowehhh....
If you're into detective game to uncover the mystery and murder, this is the game for you.

Nice detective game! Great story setting in New Orleans, good side quests.

Playing it for the story rather than action etc.

In Murdered: Soul Suspect you follow the story of Detective Ronan O'Connor. He gets killed out of the blue and wants to find out who killed him and why.
Because you're dead, you find yourself in Dusk, the limbo world. Using your new supernatural abilities you explore Salem the small little town you used to live in.

The main mechanic of the game, and what you'll be doing the most is going from location to location and explore them for clues, and eventually try to string them together to find out what happened. Each location will bring you a bit closer to you're own mystery.
Finding these clues is as simple as just walking around the place and pressing a button on items of interest. If you have enough clues, you can try to conclude the research by clicking the correct memories that belong together. This will then lead you to a small cut scene showing what happened.
The game is mostly based on cut scenes as well, which in my opinion is perfect. The game also is about the perfect length, not to long and not to short(about 6-7 hours if you don't go for collectibles).

Characters you encounter are interesting, and each of them contribute to the story in their own way. Speaking about the story, it's interesting and keeps you engaged throughout the game. Some nice twists keep it refreshing and make you want to know what's next.
This together with good voice acting and decent graphics make up for a well-rounded and interesting game.

That doesn't mean there are no cons though. I personally had some optimization issues on both my laptop and desktop. I had to turn down the graphics quite a bit to get a smooth frame rate, even though I have 2 quite powerful systems.
The game also at times throws some demons into the mix, you need to either avoid those, or destroy them. Personally I never looked encountering them, and they felt kind off forced... to get some more diversity in there or something.
Camera controls are also a bit clunky at times, but nothing to bad.

In the end, I would highly recommend Murdered: Soul Suspect to anyone who likes story driven games. It's a solid and interesting detective game.

Yorumlara bakmadan oynayabilirsiniz. Hikayesi daha önce oynadığım hiçbir oyuna benzemiyordu. Kısa bir dizi bitirmiş gibi oluyorsunuz.

This game has everything a girl wants: ghosts, detectives, inaccurate history trivia... Initially I wasn't going to play this game, having been put off by its many negative reviews.
I'm glad I did though.
Yes, it does take the main character a frankly ridiculous amount of time to figure out what's going on. Yes, I did encounter numerous bugs. And no, it doesn't exactly take a Sherlock to figure out where it's going.
But it does have
*Fun game mechanics that are well executed
*Interesting characters that are incredibly voice acted.
*Nice graphics and character design (seriously I could write an essay on this guy's tattoos)
*Environmental storytelling that actually leaves you wanting more
In short? It's fine.
It probably won't become your favorite game, but is it super fun and worth the price? Absolutely.

It's a decent game, the story line was great and the ending was a little shook to me, now lets talk about gameplay it was more than good and you can finish the game in like 5-7h if you don't care about collectibles and go straight forward in the story.
but if you complete the game 100% and exploring the game you will finish it easily 10-12h.
last thing you can be a cat in this game xddddd
