Dennoch empfehlenswert.

The only bike racing game i know with proper physics, for the rider as well as for the bike itself. The new graphics are a huge step forward compared to MotoGP 2019 and the new braking system makes it even better. Bonus point: the sounds are awesome. This is for all the moto maniacs out there. The only game that makes you really feel that rush of adrenalin in your veins. Absolutely recommended.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2247785263

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2247785206

+ detailgetreue Modelle aller Bikes
+ authentische Motorengeräusche
+ übersichtliches, sauberes HUD
+ realistische Ragdolls bei Stürzen

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2247785347

Neutrales

I was really exicited when this game came out, but disappointed straight away. I now got a PC with I7 6700 and
Titan X but it is lagging constantly. Also, if you ride 60 km/h the camera and angle is flickering around since the
new update. Does anyone noticed that too?

Rubrik Wertung
Grafik 85/100
Sound 66/100
Spielbarkeit 0/100

Controller: XBox One S Wireless Controller

So...warum diese Bewertung:

Grafik:

Milestone the laziest and shitiest company in the world ♥♥♥♥
this game is again completly shiat MC Donalds could develop better bike games

so many big important features still missing for example :

still no real crashes ( now you spawn were where your bike is after the crash so the laziest thing milestone could do , no walking to the bike ,no completly fucdked bikes no flames ,debirs whatever (BSE already got this feature and its only a small private Dev Team ))
no rain physic , (the whole gameplay is arcade and shiat but at least riding in the rain could feel way slower and slippery etc.
no real sound ( the sound is terrible ,worst than ever before ,sounds like the engine is running with Nutella
umnlly unrealistic crap
all electronic assists feel like crap
all onboard cameras are completly shit know the helmet cam is again way to high , no FOV slider you still dont have any camera settings or sliders to adjust
and soo many other things too lazy to write more .... everyone who played their games know all the buggy and bad features the bad servers and multiplayer everything is still there or worse ♥♥♥♥

i hope they will one day run out of money and another company will get the Motogp License after so many years Milestone doesnt deserve this anymore and their games are a disgrace ♥♥♥♥ every biker out there .
glad i only spend 15 euro forthis

There's no way to stop nose diving while applying the front brake. It's a strange gameplay mechanic to have, where you the gamer have to modulate your front brake otherwise you flip over your bike. Like, why stop there? Why not have it where you can lean off your bike by pressing the analog sticks too far? Besides this, the UI is wonky to navigate and ugly to look at, and the humans in the game look straight out of a game from the late 2000's.

Nothing quite lights my face up with glee as much as the sensation of whizzing past your competition, failing to break, and flying haphazardly into the gravel. I may not be a motorcycle expert, but I know what I enjoy -- that being said, I absolutely enjoy racing these 2-wheeled death machines.

When it comes to getting your bike around the track, Milestone has done an excellent job of creating a believable simulation of MotoGP racing. Since you aren’t able to physically feel the forces acting upon your body and bike, it is paramount to recreate those feelings through audio and visual cues in-game, and MotoGP 20 does this to great effect, especially when you play in one of the first-person views. My time on the track was very rewarding and gave a completely different experience than the four-wheeled sims on the market. I wish that same feeling carried over into the off-track activities.

I LOVE racing games. Especially I love car racing, but after TT Isle of Man 2 and thoroughly enjoying it, I decided to buy a real Moto GP game to extend the hours of 2-wheeled fun.

But meh... The game felt too flat to me. The physics were too floatie, speed did not seem to have a visual impact and generally felt too arcade-y especially compared to TT2, in which even touching the gas button was sweat-inducing!

If you are looking for a realistic motorbike racing game, get TT2, but if you want to experience the MotoGP career, I guess MotoGP20 is not bad, but just feels inferior to TT2.

4/10

Definetly innovative, MotoGP 20 is a breath of fresh air in the motorcycle gaming industry. The physics feel very realistic, with you needing to be careful. Similarly to MotoGP 18. I would recommend it to the more hardcore gamers. For the more casual folk i would recommend MotoGP 17 or 19.
Nice graphics, realistic physics and overall nice interface. Controls also feel good. Sounds are fine. The A.I. is okay, not perfect, but better than the older games.

Fantastic. The difficulty is what draws me to this game. It is so easy to make an error, but it doesn't feel like i have been cheated by the game. Ever after almost 300hrs in the game i would be at least competitive but i am still 2-3 seconds off the pace of the top guys. You can always find a way to improve and i think that has translated very well from what it is like riding a motorcycle in real life. Highly recommend.

I want to like this game, I really do but I cannot. Well presented and highly polished, a vast array of content but all brought down by one thing. HORRIBLE AI - The AI is abysmal, one a race weekend you will do well in practice and qualifying but come race day everything change. The AI suddenly becomes blessed with godly powers:
- They can take corners faster than you, much faster.
- In straight lines they will rocket past you no matter how you exit the corner.
- To make an overtake, they will completely ignore your presence whilst entering a corner and just drive into you ruining your race completely.

This AI is utter trash, I want to love this game, I want to play it and enjoy it but I cannot. Stay away, I regret spending my money on it.

In spite of how scuffed it is in certain places, MotoGP 20 has genuinely been one of the most fun experiences I've had playing a racing game. Both the physics and the AI can be very challenging without being excessively hard, and in turn, very accommodating if the player wants it easier.

Yearly sports titles often get criticized for not innovating enough from year to year, but if you break it down, 20 was a pretty good stride forward for Milestone, with fuel being added for the first time in the series, as well as asymmetric tyre wear, whilst managerial career serves as a good foundation to be built upon in future titles.

I don't plan on buying 21 on launch, but I am interested in seeing how well Milestone can build upon this installment. And hey, if it doesn't pan out, at least the base and discounted price of this game should come down, allowing future buyers to play some MotoGP at a reasonable price.

I do have some criticisms though. Racing with the AI could be better. They don't respect the presence of the player as much as they should, and the field gets spread out quickly even in Moto3, a category known for pack racing in reality (the disparity in Moto3 bike performance doesn't help). I've also encountered a range of glitches, especially after viewing a replay mid-race. These include sound issues, the bike entering neutral gear after unpausing, and even a softlock.

But again, it gets a positive review from me because all of the good things about this game outweigh the occasional bad.

I actually can't understand how so many people give a thumps up for this one. i mean. you can, if you only drive online.

lets be honest. Graphics, sound and handling overall is good.

BUT. the breaking behaviour is one of the worst ever and the AI.. WTF

I am one of the gamers that enjoys the career gaming in a game like moto gp, but it is nearly impossible to make it without restart or rewind.

The AI riders are breaking waaaaaaayyy to early, and then, when you start to break and lean in you can hear and see them poppin wheelies to crash in you like lunatics. i mean accelerating on a breakpoint and cutting your apex.. thats the worst AI ever. and you have to ride with this situation throughout every class and race...

the online races are stable but noone ever tries to ride with everything turned off

***Received for free from a Great Friend, cheers Luke!***

Riding in real life is actually easier! I kid you not! Forget everything you think you know about riding a Motorbike as that knowledge will not help here.

Full lock up front brake mid corner in RL and your chewing bitumen, do it in game and you might lose a bit of speed.
Accelerate hard in a corner in RL and your rear wheel tries to overtake the front, in game you just slide and wobble a bit.
I have played other Motorbike games, RIDE and TT games, each one is different and this is exactly that, different and also an improvement on older versions.

Ok I'm nit picking with my RL Vs game, as a game with Motorbikes cannot be realistic. If YOU really want to you can have someone blow air into your face using a fan and hairdrier whilst using a spray bottle for the rain effects.
Wear a helmet while playing, that makes it just that little bit more....well...YOU TRY IT :D

As a game goes, it is enjoyable and if your into redesigning your own kit, then the option is there for you. I dabbled in that a little bit but ended up just going with what was on offer, the brands are ok, not loads of them but enough to have you searching for that right fitting helmet. Bonus is you can change your gloves, slider colours and boots to match to some degree.
You can delve into managerial side of things but the bit I like is the ability to change your rides set up and attempt to get it feeling like you have some control. You can manually change things, swapping different tyre compounds, adjusting various things to loosen or stiffen up the ride or you can use the engineer who asks you basic questions on how it is handling and will adjust it based on your answers.
Don't forget to make sure you have enough fuel, I had changed mine to have barely enough to last the race, lighter bike, quicker bike.....I ran out of fuel coming into the final corner before the start finish straight and didn't roll through the flag before most of the other riders had gone through. Lesson learned, make sure enough fuel :)

I will be playing more of this in the future for sure so yes it is a positive review.
Get it while it is on offer, it is worth the offer price.

This game is good for a 10 year old who knows nothing about bikes. This game is unrealistic. tires dont wear as they should. I can use the same soft tires for tests and qualifying and a 6 lap race. you can also use full brakes at full lean in the middle of a curve. not to mention too much distractions in career mode. no more 3 lap races.just stick with 19 your not missing anything. luckily I got this game as a gift.

So yes, when you look at my time played you may just automatically brush this off. However, I've been playing MotoGP, and nearly all other racing games of all types since their inception. I'm not even gonna take the time to list them all just to prove my knowledge and worthiness... I'm a racing game junkie born in '84... nuff said.

So here's why I quit so early...

1. Engine audio is absolutely awful. Clearly just some layered saw-tooth waves with some unintelligent use of reverb. What happened to the days when they took the time to go out and record real audio of each individual bike; manufacturer, class, any modifications, track and weather conditions, object proximity, part performance and or failure, etc.etc.

2. Graphics; running i7, 7700, 1070, blah blah blah... yes running ultra... no not looking like ultra. Idk about this one. I hope I'm doing something wrong cuz these graphics seem worse than PS4. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

3. WTF is up with the handling? Listen, I'll accept the fact that I might simply be overlooking something, but I'm pretty sure I've gone through every menu and setting available from easy settings through pro... I can't even finish a lap without sliding out, or turning a horribly slow time. So please, if you guys have any advice on settings or what I may be doing wrong, please let me know. This is the #1 killer for me. I can deal with sub-par graphics and audio, as long as the game-play is smooth and enjoyable. Also, I use an XBOX cont., if that says anything...

4. This is a nit-picky one: character, livery, helmet, suit, bike etc. Customization is ok... I feel like more in depth options should be standard these days. We've all seen what can be done, let's include at least that.

So yeah, that's what I gathered in 1 hr of play. Really hope someone can show me where I've gone wrong in the settings, because I really want to like this game.

I could attribute this also to Ride 4 but:

The Milestone's Magnum Opus

as of late 2020.

The best MotoGP game ever made yet.

As usually, taking off the nostalgia glasses are recommended. <<< We sure all love our former videogames from late 90s early 2000s. We all do...

This title has the most immersive physics yet and still contributing to a very competitive environment against the AI. This time much more faster.

In 19 I throttled up to 120% max AI during a championship, while in this I hover around 105 to 108% difficulty.

Currently I use the in helmet camera for gameplay providing an amazing immersive experience while being more realistic than the usual 3rd person view. Of course, your favorite youtuber may prefer the later, but the helmet view I highly believe is the way to go in this.

Pros:

+++++Much better physics, although unforgiving. Featuring stoppie avoidance during heavy breaking, adding an extra layer of difficulty. Better simulation of the current GP bikes from real life.
++++Better graphics than last year's title.
++Better photomode with shutter speeds simulation.
++++++++++More competitive AI. THANK YOU!! And higher in quality in comparison to their latest Ride 4 game. Finally something to race on offline.
+++ Better Career mode. Which I haven't touched it yet but is most def a high praise to be there and evolving.
++++++Super well made circuits all around by having them drone scanned (laser scanned also??). Getting better and better since GP18.

Cons:

----Usual Milestone quirks as having that dreaded autopilot during pit exits whenever you chose 'drive from the pits' which makes the overall feel cheap. This is common in every title from theirs.
----Not leaning more towards a simulation based game style:
-Not having the option to exit manually from the garage and drive inside the pitlane.

-No cool down laps which are very satisfying after a long race to ease on the throttle and cool down without an abrupt image cut to an autopilot control. I can't understand how racing game devs, including Codemasters on F1 titles won't implement the cool down lap. It is just another layer of immersion and commitment to the daily motorsport routine. It is very little, I know, but what we get it is so weird. It takes you from the control of your machine too much.

--Some issues with front tire simulation and feedback on loss of grip. Often you'll low side down to lack of feedback from the front tire.

---Wet asphalt simulation feels too forgiving.

-Historical content could use more variety or amount. But it is alright.

The best one so far by a long margin.

Another year, another game in the MotoGP franchise. 2020 sees a marked step up in graphics over 2019's outing. There are new tracks and some of the old familiar tracks feel fresher, with more attention given to elevation changes than in previous years. I also enjoyed how practice for Qatar's night race took place in daylight, which added a little realism and variety to proceedings.

Another plus is that the historic challenges aren't so difficult as to require alien-like ability to 100% the game, though getting all the achievements still required some laborious grinding. I can't say I noticed a vast difference in sound but overall I got the feeling Milestone have finally got to grips with the capabilities of the Unreal Engine and moved away from the cartoony arcade style of, say, 2016's Valentino Rossi game. I'd give it a fairly solid 8/10.

I have mixed feelings about this game. The gameplay overall is very enjoyable and realistic! But for $50, it is definitely not worth it, that's why I purchased the game when it went on sale! For me, the downfall to this game comes with the career mode. In career mode there isn't much to do other than race, however you can also upgrade your bikes, but even the upgrade process is very bland. In a good racing game, I see an in depth career mode where you really build your way to the top! It would be nice if there was a way to earn sponsors, or talk to the media. In my career mode I started on the Moto3 bikes but there was no dialogue, or ways to acquire sponsors. Overall I would say the career mode is very bland and that's why I would not spend $50 on this game.

Introduction

This is and in Depth Review for MotoGP™20 . If you don't want/have the time to read this just ignore the post. If you like it please leave a thumbs up and helpful!

Gameplay

The Gameplay of MotoGP™20 is smooth and easy to understand , you will learn how to play the game in a few races. If you have never played a Bike Racing game before start with a low difficulty and turn it higher after every race until you find a difficulty level that suits your skill. I recommend starting with Pro Physics and Max Tire Consumption from the beginning so you get used to it.

Career

The Career Mode is well done with a lot more options and features then then last years MotoGP™19. There are regular test and winter tests before and during the season, there are development tests to make your Bike better and more competitive, this takes time and effort. Before a Grand Prix Weekend the game let's you choose what sessions you want to play (FP1, FP2, FP3, FP4, Q1, Q2), after choosing the sessions you want to participate to you will start in the box setting up your Bike, Tires and Fuel. The setup of the Bike is also easy to do because there are two ways to do that:

- Manual Setup : Makes you free to setup everything you want on your Bike without limits.

- Guided Setup : With this type of setup the Mechanic asks you about the feeling on the bike and what is not so good, in this way it chooses automatically the setup on that specific part of the bike.

The sessions are obviusly all timed and the combined times of the practice sessions determine if you go in Q1 or directly into Q2. The qualifying sessions are short and tough just like in the real races. You have 15 Minutes to make a good time. Always choose the most performing tires not looking at the consumption, low fuel and power two electronics for full power.
After the qualifying there is the race, you start in grid at the position you qualified, from know on it's self explanatory, just give it all you can to Win the Race!

In the MotoGP™20 Career Mode you can now create your own Moto2 and Moto3 Team (you can only create it if you are a Class Higher then the team getting made, so to make a Moto2 Team you have to be a MotoGP Rider). To create such a Team you need a looot of money, so you will defenetly not be able to create one in your first MotoGP season. After creating a Moto2 or Moto3 Team you will choose your Staff and Riders, you will also be able to change the look of the bike and riders (colors and livery). You can simulate the races but also follow them live to cheer for your Team.

All in all the Career Mode of MotoGP™20 is very well made and a big step up from MotoGP™19. It's a lot of fun and very realistic!

Graphics

The Graphics on MotoGP™20 are very good , nothing very special for 2020, but still nice to see. The textures and bikes models are flawless, the sky and track details are good, the Motion Blur is good and not annoying, the Game is also well optimized so you will also be able to run it on lower end PC's. The Movement of the Bike and the Rider look realistic and smooth, there are some minor bugs with the Rider's movement but they rarely happen. (for example if you ALT + TAB in the middle of the Race the Head Movement of the Rider gets glitched which leads to him turning his head around during the whole race).

Audio

The Audio of MotoGP™20 is good, every bike has it's sound and if you would close your eyes you would easily guess the Bike by the sound. The only bummers are the 500cc 2-Strokes and the lack of power and aggressivity of the Bikes, which makes it less realistic. But we all know that's hard to do.

Difficulty

If you have never played a Bike Racing Game before you will take some time to get used to the racing lines, braking and bike movement. After getting used to it, it's just a matter of getting faster and faster on Track and improving the feeling and safety (crashing less). I found it that not having played a Bike Racing game before, after around 35 Hours I am feeling good at around 80% of Difficulty, being able to fight for the win on tracks where my feeling is good after the practice, and for the Top 10 where the it's not. BE Hard to yourself when setting up the difficulty of the Game, this gives you a challange and makes the game fun!

For the electronics just find a level you are comfortable at (different bike behave differently), for the Physics turn them to Pro or a level before if you don't want to brake with two different brakes.

Multiplayer

The Multiplayer works well and is fun with the right players and friends, unfortunately if you go into public matches you will find many new players which will crash many times making the feeling of the Race less realistic.

Game Time

To complete a Career it takes time, and to win Moto3, Moto2 and MotoGP it is goind to be many hours you will spend on this Game, so be ready to play this game for a long time if you are looking for these results.

Price

I bought this Game during a sale for 20€ and it was well worth it! I am guessing a good price for this game to buy it would be around 30€ during non-sale periods.

Conclusion

I am happy with this Game, it is a lot of fun if you are a fan of the MotoGP but also SBK (with Mods you can play that too which is awesome: [https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/world-superbike-2020.36521/] download here ). I give this Game and 8.5 out for 10 with the only negative points being that it's very time consuming and the sound lacking in development. I hope my in-depth review helped you to choose if you want to buy the game or not! :)

Finally a real moto racing simulator. After almost 20 years of experience with motobikes also circuit riding I can judge off course this is the top of all moto racing games. Awesome physics with riders body weight positioning on the bike as in real life riding, and the whole new improved braking system crowns this game. The braking system isn't unrealistic, it behave and work like on a real superbike. Basically if you pull the brake lever way too hard the rear tyre starts to lift up and can cause a nice frontflip. Also with controllers vibration it can give nice feedback when the front tyre starts to loose the grip in corners under too hard braking. This can explain what 2 finger braking technique means. Also from the photo mode you can understand the riding style and adjust yours. I drag my elbows and knee sliders on the circuits in real life and can proove that MotoGP 20 is 10/10.

Best way to practice racing lines to next track season during winter :)

The game is well optimised too. I get 60+ fps on ultra settings with a 7 years old gaming laptop.

I'm surprised how refined this installment is compared to the previous ones. It is in a league of it's own. Everything is very much in detailed, sometimes even overwhelming. Initially, it will take some time to adjust to braking, but once you are past that, this game shines bright. The AI is decent enough, it won't ram you off from the back and it will give you ample space to put up a fight.

The tracks look neat, compared to before, far more realistic. The bike models look great to go with the tracks. One thing I'm a huge fan of are the indicators which in a very non-intrusive way guide you through the track, letting you know of the braking points and such. I think every other game of this genre needs to adopt this system, the non-intrusiveness.

Another thing which I absolutely adore is the interface and the overall ambiance of the game. I love the colorful scheme of the UI. To make it even better, UI is spread out well. Everything is just there where you'd expect it to be.

Basically this is to MotoGP fans what F1 2020 is to the Formula 1 fans. Oozing of authenticity, fluid gameplay mechanics, neat management options, making it one of the best in the genre out there.

For anyone who think the braking mechanism is unrealistic then watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLvDNISRAxI
If your are careless with the MotoGP carbon brake, you are gonna popin' stoppie everywhere. Play with an analog controller and learn to be precise with the brake is the art of motorcycle control. I ride in real life too but our road motorcycles are just scooters when comparing to the space-age technology on the MotoGP motorcycles.
I don't think the exaggerated rear movements is a problem, it's a good visual aid to compensate for the lack of bike feel. It doesn't look realistic, I agree, but this is the best solution we can have until someone build a proper simulation for motorcycles.

My biggest complain is the sound design, although Milestone has put a lot of work into the details like the knee pads scraping on the asphalt, but the engine doesn't seem to have that level of aggressiveness like a real life MotoGP. I hope this will be addressed in future titles.

At first I found myself struggling to play this game, as a newbie to the sport, I had no idea how to play the game. There is no clear tutorial on how to actually play the game and the pit settings can seem daunting at first but after a few YouTube videos and instructions from the pros, it actually became one of my top games (in terms of time spent), I truly enjoyed my experience.

An improvement I would say would be to add more personal sponsorships for your character and add more depth in career mode, like the rival riders switching teams each year, I felt like that was just something missing but it wasn't necessary, it would of been a nice addition.

Oh and the only down is, if you're a Repsol Honda fan like me, you'll have to play atleast 2-3 seasons before getting an opportunity to join them, not ideal considering I was the undefeated champion for 2 seasons in a row and Honda still deemed me as a bad fit.

I love this game but if the devs dont add a vote to kick option then ill have no choice but to quit playing. Ive reported numerous players for deliberately crashing everyone in the race. FIX IT!!!!!!

EDIT: Dont bother playing online. Nothing but pure carnage of trolls and terrible racers and nothing you can do about it. ABSOLUTE TRASH!!!!

It's a really great game but as a complete beginner this game doesn't hold your hand at all. I couldn't find any tutorial about the controls or how to play it's straight to career or racing. i think it's a great game but it could've been done better

The best MotoGP game since MotoGP 07 by THQ, though it's much more forgiving than that game. The game does a good job of making you feel like a hero on two wheels, but can be a little too easy at times. I'm really enjoying the new career mode. Easy recommend of you like bike racing games.

First of all, this is my first MotoGP game. I'm a seasoned racing sim driver but the action on two wheels is a welcome new world to me!

MotoGP 20 is a joy to play. Riding the bike on the limit is pretty rewarding, the controls give you plenty of feedback and the action itself is top-notch. Tha graphics and sound are pretty juicy too, and the game runs pretty well on my years-old machine.

Unofrtunately, the game came out plagued with bugs all around. Many of them were addressed with patches, so the issues I had with it are mostly gone, especially the game breaking ones that had me pause my career play for a while. Still, there's lots to fix here and there, from being unable to fast-forward practice sessions to the background music going nuts at times.

On the other hand, the amount of content is admirable. Lots of MotoGP series, tracks are pretty good (including a couple of historics) and the customization options are definitely something to behold. The career mode is also pretty rich, with R&D, mid-season tests and team management.

All in all, I'm having lots of fun with this game, still learning but most of all, having some good racing! I hope Milestone can iron out the bugs and build upon this solid base for the next game, but so far I don't regret putting my time into trying to become a winning MotoGP driver :)

At the minute the game is horrendously Broken.

That's quite simply it.

At time of writing:

PHYSICS:

> The entire turning process is too fast -
- Brakes too powerful (MotoGP bikes braking at 120m for last turn at Sepang etc)
- Too Much front side edge Grip - Can trail brake around 80-100% brake pressure to the apex with no consequence - should be a crash more often than not
- Throttle can be picked up much too soon, in some cases BEFORE the apex at full lean (T1 Qatar is a prime example (at least for my style, your mileage may vary here)
> The game is unrealistically Easy - Sure having a hard bike doesn't make it unrealistic potentially, but with what I said above, the current PRO physics should be the NORMAL mode and the pro physics should have a complete rebuild.

I feel personally like a physics model rebuild is needed to progress the engine and games further

GLITCHES:
> Fuel is bugged in historic mode - using own rider prevents fuel from being put in
> Rider constantly looks behind him unless you unbind the look back button.
> Online doesn't work (Lap counter fails to end the race resulting whats effectively an open session until one runs out of fuel - Also occasionally happens offline - GAMEBREAKING)

> And Personally - There are no UK units... We use degrees Celsius for temps and MPH for Speed, but this isn't an option.

The psychics are really good. I also liked the crash movies :)

If you play this game for the first time it could be difficult but you can set the difficult mode like you wish.

A step forward in some ways, a step back in more.

Pros:
• Graphics are improved with sharper textures for bike and rider liveries and some lighting improvements.
• Performance is solid and seems well optimised on the PC with no frame drops and appears quite stable when in a pack of bikes.
• Sound is improved on the bikes with the nice addition of exhaust backfires on the overrun.
• The photo mode is improved with the much appreciated shutter speed option to give the photos a realistic touch. Only downside is the inability to lock a focal point for slow shutter shots.
• Career mode is much improved with a far more indepth management system with the ability to pick and choose key personnel with pros and cons to those hiring decisions depending on how the player wishes to go about their career.
• Fuel management and tyre management are now important aspects of the game, and the switch to having wear on different areas of the tyre is a great change.

Cons:
• Physics... Some of this is personal preference but there are issues which take away from the enjoyment of the experience imo.
• Braking - The stoppie issue is well discussed at this point and although I feel the braking changes are in the right direction, they are simply too aggressive and make riding the bikes less enjoyable. If they toned it down by 50% or so it would be a sweet spot between this version and MGP19 where the brakes were too weak.
• Throttle - The TC feels quite different compared to 19 where there is no feeling of the engine cut and instead the bike just feels dull. It also seems that for Moto2 in particular, the difference between TC 0 and 1 is too great and a sweet spot would be between the two.
• Steering - imo Moto 3 has been ruined. Milstone has reduced bike inertia a lot in this game to the point where the Moto3 bikes are so sensitive to even the slightest stick movement that you're just trying to make micro adjustments through every corner. 19 was perfect in bike feel for this I felt and it meant you could hit your turn in markers more accurately with the bike sweeping through corners nicely without your small adjustments along the way throwing the bike around like a fish on a hook. Moto 2 and MotoGP do not suffer as much and I feel their issues lie more in braking.

AI: Still, they are a second quicker in the race than qualy, so you end up changing AI strength before a race to keep things consistent. Why this hasn't been addressed since 19 is dumbfounding. The AI also chop at the throttle every.damn.corner which is incredibly annoying from a sound perspective during a race.

General Bugs: The issue of different bike behaviour between career more, quick race and custom/real life teams is a major one which needs addressing soon.

There is discussion of a patch coming soon to fix some of these known issues and until that happens I feel MotoGP 19 is still the better purchase.

    ????Positive Aspects:

  • Slight visual improvement over MotoGP 19.
  • Much more improved physics towards realism.
  • Strict cutting rules in Online Races.
  • Improved HUD, looks a lot cleaner compared to MotoGP 19.
  • Fixed online issues and connectivity.
  • ????Negative Aspects:

  • A.I although decent is still way to aggressive.
  • Online Races are still a ramming meme although not as crazy.
  • ▶️Introduction

MotoGP 20 is the successor of MotoGP 19, which was already a very good game that fixed a lot of issues but left some things unchanged, MotoGP 20 is here to fix and improve even more issues, the major jump in my opinion is that the current game feels actually like a simulator that gives you decent to good feedback on how the bike reacts. The game was developed and published by Milestone S.r.l Release Date :23 April, 2020 Last known update: 23 April, 2020 This product was reviewed using a free key provided by the Developers.

    ????Gameplay:

Is this years game still a Semi-Sim or a Full-Sim? To my surprise I thought that it would still feel just like last years installment, what do I mean with that? Well decent steering but nothing more, very basic input in order to put power down and probably watered down braking. But then I did start a race and I was blown away by the sudden improvements, Steering felt slightly more demanding as you were actually feeling the cornering speed and all that made you find a balance while turning giving you the feeling of success that I never felt in my life (Yes, my life is that sad). Accelerating isn’t just pressing the gas button with more force, now you have to be gentle with it so your driver doesn’t spin out and comes out flying towards a barrier, now you really need experience and a soft input and lastly braking was the major difference, the braking in 19 was very dull both visually and feedback wise but in 20 you will like a manly man that rides a 300HP bike. When braking too hard using the front brakes you will see the rear lift off the ground and at that moment you now your race is over, UNLESS you have found the balance in order to handle the bike. Overall I was blown away by the drastic improvements towards the feedback and realism department of the game, solid work.
• A.I, opponents :
  • As mentioned I liked the improvement that MotoGP 19 made compared to MotoGP 18, yet it still felt like the opponents wanted to push me off the track, with this years game I didn’t really feel an improvement honestly, despite the devs and publishers advertising and new technology that would make everything more competitive. Long story short I just didn’t feel like they behaved in a different manner, there were some slight improvements as far as the competitiveness goes but other than that it only had minor changes.
  • Modes :
  • Just like in the previous installment you get greeted by the same yet very solid modes, starting with the classic Championship mode we are you’re given the chance to take part in one of the three championships ( MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 ) and as usual you get signed by a bottom class team and work yourself up with contracts until you sign with a championship team or perhaps take the more demanding route and improve the bottom feeder until you make it a top class team. Another great mode that came last year was the historical mode we are you turn back the times and get the chance to drive as a legendary driver on an old 500cc 1990s bike in Laguna Seca for example, the visual representation did take a hit sadly as I really loved the displayed artstyle of the historic drivers and bikes. Lastly you quick matches and Online Races. Nothing changed really but it is still a very good aspect of the game. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2080521685
  • Weather and Damage:
  • Last year I suggested them to add real time weather but sadly that didn’t happen so you’re greeted with pre fixed weather before every race, I am sad. Now you cannot even select the weather you would like to race in. The Damage model from the other hand has improved a lot, bikes are lot more fragile on impact and you can feel the bike behaving in a problematic manner when aero part have broken off. Lost a good addition but gained something back I guess, still would love to see real time weather.

????Story:

There isn’t much of a story honestly, you create a driver and work your way up to the various leagues and difficulties until you win championships and titles and retire. Nothing much, it is basically built just like Formula 1 games.

????Online/Multiplayer:

Last year I complained about the ramming and pushing in Online matches and in this years installment you see a slight decline, sadly you still get regularly the rammers everyone hates.
On every race I took part I got rammed in the first corner. That needs fixing. Other than that you will find decently populated lobbies and will not have a problem finding games.

????Graphics / Audio:

Not really an amazing difference compared to last year but the game has slightly better Anti-Aliasing other than that it is still the same good looking game.

  • Graphics: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2077364422 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2080521006
  • Audio / Soundtrack:
  • Audio is exactly the same compared to the last game with generic audio and sounds all over it, bikes still sound a little flat in my opinion.

????Performance:

  • My Device:AMD Ryzen 5 3600 X, 16GB RAM, GTX 1070: I was running the game on Max Graphics on 1080p (200% Res. Scale) with 80 fps-90fps.
  • ????️Bugs / Glitches / Crashes:
  • In 11 Hours of getting rammed in the first corner and flying on barriers I experienced no crashes or bugs.

????Price:

For 49,99 Eur. you get yourself a decent Simulator with good amount of content, personally I would wait for a sale but if you’re a big MotoGP fan go ahead it is a very good game.

⚖️Conclusion:

MotoGP 20 has improved all over the place when it comes to physics yet some problems stayed, it is still a very good game that will give you lots of competitive hours.

????Overall rating: 87 / 100

Milestone never learns. Still a crap game unfortunately. You can't even tab out of the game during a paused race, or else the game glitches and wont let you throttle/brake properly. This glitch was in motogp 19 aswell. There's a hundred more glitches in this game of similar importance which has carried over from 19. Don't expect this to get patched either.

Only plus in this game is that the feeling is a lot better than the other titles. Unfortunately it doesn't carry over to the AI since they don't ride by the same rules.

Great game, haven't bought a MotoGP game in years.

Most of my time has been spent in multiplayer playing with a friend and AI.

On 90% of the tracks I've played, the auto pilot will ditch the bike straight out of the pit lane or on a flying start. Funny the first time but annoying af after the 20th.

I find the AI to be really aggressive and borderline kamikaze, to the point where they won't deviate from their racing line and will ram into the back of you. Happens so often, mid corners on straights etc.

A nice to have feature would be a mini championship in multiplayer so we can compete over a number of races rather than a one off.

Brakes, brakes, brakes.
Brakes aren't useless on 500cc bikes anymore!!
You actually need some skill braking in a straight line now, Moving your weight back it critical. Trail braking works well.

Physics are an improvement overall. There are actually some benefits to turning the TC and AW down. You can feel the power cuts from the electronics.

The game has gotten harder, and would piss some people off. But I like the more sim-like direction this game is taking.

I have just played it for an hour and like it so far.

Edit: Another improvement I noticed is that AI is on equal footing during contacts and don't have a force field protecting them (unlike 19). You are as likely to take them out as they are to take you out.

FIRST LOOK (after 2hrs)

Although I didn't review MOTOGP19 I felt that MOTOGP19 was by far the the BEST MOTOGP I have ever played.

MOTOGP19 finally felt like MOTOGP was heading in the right direction & I was REALLY excited and positive for MOTGP20.

The fact that Milestone have been bought out by THQ Nordic gave me some concern and hope...

Now my review is the 10th to be added, and there is a lot of negativity already, and I CAN FULLY understand why...but I think it `MIGHT` be misplaced and too early to be so negative.

I am 2 hours in, I CANNOT do what I normally do, which is jump on with The Doc, turn all assists off load up Red Bull Ring and start pumping out laps. It REALLY Didn't happen that way.

Instead I found;
o the bike braking to be almost non-existent.
o Any Heavy braking at all results in a faceplant.
o Rear end of the bike is so squirly, it is almost uncontrollable on any corner, at any speed.
o The track Marshals are unbelievably harsh.

So I got annoyed, then I started to think...why is this happening?
o I started tweaking the bike setup.
o I recalibrated my controller (that actually helped a little with the braking - but not enough)
o I started turning on the assists (something I rarely ever do)
o And then finally, slowly I started to remove the Assists, whilst still tweaking the bike setup + just eased into the track and the bike.

FIRST LOOK CONCLUSION (after 2hrs)

Here is my 2 Hour Conclusion (to be updated as I play more).

The face-plant braking and rear wheel slip seems a little over the top for me...not 100% sure yet.

BUT the key thing for me is this, it feels more realistic, way more realistic than 19 because if I Really did jump on a MOTOGP Bike and do what I did with MOTOGP19 + always have doe with all of the MOTOGP series thus far then I would be using my face as a slowing down mechanism.

MOTOGP20 is forcing me to respect the bike, learn the grip and ease into the game...now I still think the Braking, and whipout rear wheel on perfect tyres is a little exaggerated but I am actually warming to the game very quickly.

Just some first impressions after a few races ...

The big change from GP 19 is the physics.
First and foremost the braking. I hated the braking on 19, it had zero feedback.
On 20 you have both visual (back wheel) and controler feedback (rumble).

That aside, weight shifting seems faster but without feeling too light.
Accellerating also requires more nuanced inputs.

All in all the physics seem more simulation-like, at least on pro physics.
You`ll wobble around more (at least on your first laps), fighting to keep balance.
However, for me that doesn`t make it more difficult.
Rather the opposite, because I feel much better informed about what`s going on with the bike now.
It`s very much about being smooth and in the flow now, being more rewarding if you are, more punishing if you are not.

One big downer though: I find first person cameras almost unuseable now, can`t pinpoint why yet.
I am glad third person has been good since 19 though.

Graphics:
Minor upgrade over 19. I couldn`t really tell what changed, probably mostly post-processing, it looks a bit more natural.

Features:
Unfortunately, once again there are no options for camera settings, no distance adjustment, no hiding or showing the helmet overlay, etc..

Quick race without qualifying still has you start in last place no matter what.
That`s kinda silly, it should give you a random position that`s reasonable (but bad) for the team you picked.

That`s all I got for now. ;)

Awful, just awful, if you don't use triggers on the pad for braking get ready to do a front flip and fall on your face. The game never felt so awful on day one. And the rider looks to big compared to the bike. I couldn't play a single lap of this

Very excited for this new MotoGP to come out but after I played for an hour. I have to refund the game because crashes a lot and the rear wheel always raises too much when braking. The autopilot makes me crash when doing a flying lap and the AI rider crashes every 10 seconds. The new career mode was great tho. But I still suggest you to just get the MotoGP19 if you haven't already.
