Über das Spiel
The base game of Mortal Online 2 comes with one month of game time included, after which players will need to maintain an active monthly subscription to continue playing the game. We have not activated subscriptions to the game during early release, play the game without subscription during early release.
Forge your destiny in the player-driven fantasy world of Mortal Online 2, populated by other players who bring with them their own unique experiences and content. Whether you wish to be an artisan providing masterfully crafted arms and armor, a member of a powerful faction that occupies a region of the world, a tamer training rare and exotic beasts, a highwayman robbing others, or a noble soul seeking to protect the weak from outlaws and beasts—The story of your journey will be written through your actions, and you choose the direction of each chapter.
EXPERIENCE THE WORLD OF NAVE
From the bustling cities of a once-great empire to gloomy volcanic wastelands, frigid ice-capped mountain peaks to sweltering hot jungles full of beasts stalking through the undergrowth, fog-blanketed bamboo forests to dark caverns unexplored for centuries—the world of Mortal Online 2 is huge and brimming with creatures, secrets, resources, and opportunity.
WHO WILL YOU BE?
With four races and the option to mix multiple bloodlines within each race, you can forge a character perfectly tailored to your intentions. In addition to deeply customizing your character’s appearance, you can also build your character the way you’d like without the limit of being bound to classes. Invest in a large variety of impactful armor, weapons, and spells. Choose from an extensive list of unique skills and train them to master them—And if your chosen journey leads you down a new path, freely retrain your character as you see fit.
A TRUE SANDBOX EXPERIENCE
Mortal Online 2 offers you the choice to play the way you want to, whether alone or with others, with an expanding list of content to facilitate different styles of gameplay. Master numerous in-depth professions such as fishing, armor and weapon crafting, alchemy, and butchery; scour dark dungeons for rare spells to add to your collections; construct and furnish your home with a growing list of decorations; pick rare herbs to sell in far away lands for a profit; or gather together a band of like-minded adventurers into a guild and claim a castle. No matter the direction you take, your time in Nave will be unlike any other—entirely your own and always a part of its history.
CONFLICT AND CONSEQUENCE
Mortal Online 2 is a world full of impactful choices and consequences. With the exception of placing your items in a bank, almost everything—from armor to gathered resources—will be dropped on your death. This danger exists not only in the monsters and environmental hazards, but from other players as well. Guilds clash, duels are fought, and some may even take up the role of highwayman—all using real-time directional action combat. In a world shaped by conflict, every skirmish could spark something that changes the history of Nave forever.
EXPLORE A VAST, LIVING WORLD
The world remains large without fast travel, and if you choose to leave the well-guarded settlements and venture into the wilds—it can be dangerous. Many beings exist to be discovered, powered by a dynamic system allowing them to not always be found in the same spot. Encounter skittish deer-like springboks to gargantuan trolls that can throw fully-armored soldiers like toys. Whether you seek to collect rare items, tame a beast to fight by your side, or hunt down a rare creature, the possibilities presented by the world are many, and growing.
A REALM SHAPED BY YOUR ACTIONS
In Mortal Online 2, the actions of the players decide the social landscape and very gameplay environment in which you play. Whether it’s a house you happen upon in the wilderness, a guild who claim ownership over a region, a list of goods and animals available for purchase on a local auction house—Players, just like you, did all of it.

Es gibt keinen Shop, also auch kein Pay to Win.

- Placing buildings has been disabled while on any of the alternate instances.
- Trade and pet brokers, mail, and managing guilds has been disabled while on any of the
alternate instances.
https://www.mortalonline2.com/announcement-myrland-instances/
Also mal ehrlich, das grenzt an Betrug. Die Wartende Masse wird auch noch abgestraft.
Kauft das Spiel nicht!

First off, this is a MMO PVP game like Darkfalls. People will grief kill your pets (which don't respawn) for lulz, will kill you for no reason, voice chat is both great and useless outside of social situations because nobody really negotiates unless they feel like roleplaying because they're bored, and so on.
All items drop on death except the starter sword and some cosmetic items.
You can and will get grief'd and pk'd inside towns.
People can kill town guards and they don't respawn until the servers go down for maintenance.
Pets are persistent world entities, so if it dies it's simply gone. Paid for a horse or bought a pet to help with something? Well, if someone decides to kill it for the lulz you'll never get it back. FYI, the horse spawns for certain towns can legit be an hour trip away (one way).
There's only two servers and they're hosted out of the UK. You can overcome ping difference if the other player is bad at PVP. However, anyone with good ping that's decent at PVP will absolutely !@#$ on pretty much everyone else.
Race & stat mixing is largely pointless because there are only a few builds that are decent and the rest are trash.
Crafting system is pretty shallow other than the potion & similar systems where there are 'secret' recipes that hardcore players spend hours upon hours upon hours figuring out. You can technically use a lot of items to make things, however statwise it's largely trash and only a few core items are used.
Crafting and combat and pretty much everything else are more reliant on skill points than anything else, and unfortunately the skill points are incredibly limited. It's things like being forced to focus on horse back combat or foot combat, 1-2 weapon specialties, etc. Crafting is the same way. Want to be a master shieldsmith? Unless you buy all of the processed materials from people you'll simply never have enough skill points to do it. You still might not have enough, because there are even crafting skill sinks related to USING specific resources. It's much worse than this summary makes it sound. Good luck lol
No in-game map, instead there are map related skills. Because !@#$ you. Everyone just uses an online community map.
Mob spawns are a joke; Only spawn in certain areas in an absolutely massive map. It's to the point where unless you know where a mob spawn is you can go for over an hour without running into any mobs.
Your gameplay experience will take one of three paths.
1) The solo person. You'll try out everything, realize your initial character's stats are crap, re-roll and try hard for some meta, then you'll randomly get pk'd and lose everything every few hours and quit the game from stress and boredom.
2) The crafter. A solo crafter gets killed more than a solo person because people know you have crafting items. A guild crafter will chat with guild mates, grind for hours, and still get randomly pk'd (game is skill/stat heavy so PVP builds kill non-PVP builds within a few seconds), and then pick up the grinding again. Maybe sometimes you'll leave the base or town or your favorite area with a bunch of your guildies and pray you don't run into any big PVP groups. The game isn't terrible as a guild crafter, but it is incredibly boring. Kind of like if you were to try to craft on a Runescape PVP server.
3) The PVPer. This game was made for PVP. Get some random gear, all of the combat stats, and start killing people. You'll only need one or two buddies to completely !@#$ everyone that isn't also a PVPer in a group. See someone with a horse or pet? Lol, just kill it because the only penalty is a temporary criminal flag. While you're at it, kill them too and take their stuff. Bonus points if you talk crap and call them names while you PK them and take their stuff. If the person manages to 'report' your murder using the game's terrible criminal system it's not a big deal. You and your boys will all have some murder counts and will make frequent visits to the mobs that you can kill to lower said murder counts. If you run into another PVPer group then HELL YEAH BROTHER THAT'S WHAT THIS ENTIRE GAME IS ABOUT! Then later go back to murdering or griefing randoms.
If you want a good look at the community that sticks with this game head over to Twitch. You'll see a few normal people and then you'll see a crapton of aggressive manchildren with poorly trimmed beards. Those manchildren are the core players of this game.
SV could turn this game into a massive success at any time if they'd change a few variables. Instead, this will be Mortal Online 1 all over again.
My advice is if you're interested in this game to check the game on Steam Charts or your favorite site. I'm guessing that unless SV changes things this game will be all but dead by this time next year. Seriously, go look at the stats.
FYI I'm mad because this game had potential and SV threw it away.

The constant Danger in the wild is thrilling, can Reccomend this Game big Time!
There are some technical Issues and bumps on the road here and there. But I am sure the Developers will be able to constantly make things better in the long run.

Edit - 982 hours, I'd guess 1/3 of that time came from waiting in the login queue and leaving the game on.

Tips for new players:
- figure out if you want to melee, fight at range or use magic and read a guide before character creation (minmaxing is real)
- don't stick around in Haven (tutorial island like Rookgaard back in the day) as the game opens up so much after you leave
- pick a guild from official discord BEFORE you leave Haven as it will help you enjoy the game more once on mainland
- Pick anything but Fabernum as your starting city unless you're ok with constant PvP
- ABR ALWAYS BE READING (equip skillbooks which will increase your skill passively online and offline)
- Figure out what you wanna do crafting wise (mages make the best crafters due to high int bonus but no matter what you pick you can master at least one full profession)

Game concept is good but devs and gms are clueless what is going on in their own game.
Gold duping and client side hacking is a big problem in the game with no solutions yet, and also they have no way of tracking duped items.
All my workbenches have disappeared for the third time since beta and the gms/ devs dont know what to do. the gms are telling me to talk to devs and the devs are telling me to talk to gms. Starvault is just a clusterfuck right now.
i have lost all faith that starvault can produce a polished product. its just pathetic at this point
