Minecraft Story telltale: 3/10 the only redeeming quality is the cutscenes. But again not really into this series.

A Story about a Story
We have Jesse (who is playable as a male or female) main protagonist who is a wimp and does not carry themselves highly compared to our other characters. Throughout the campaign, you will see the character grow from cowardly, frail, and even unadventurous to a hero that craves adventures is strong and can overcome any odds. Depending on the choices you make for them can make them an arrogant butthole or an appreciative friend who is well-liked.
I enjoyed the first four episodes where every chapter was intense, intriguing, and ominous about who the villains were. How the characters overcame their fears and discouragement while showing hope to one another. I found each character to be interesting and could relate to some form on why they had their moments of doubts or eagerness for every scenario at hand.
Honestly, the game could have ended at episode four, and would not be upset at all about it. It would make sense to end it at four. The story was well written for a game that is entirely based on a sandbox universe. Episode five is opening up the door to downloadable content (DLC). This is where I did not have the same perspective of the game compared to the first four chapters. The characters' demeanor changed. They were a bit cocky and self-absorbed – which is not a bad thing – but character growth and team growth had changed course. You could start to see jealousy with a side of resentment coursing through. That is not a negative for me since that is how people are in general, it was the new content that came with it that I did not have the same gratification as said former chapters. There is also a major gap between episode 4 and episode 5 which left some questions unanswered.
I will not spoil the story as I found it to be an enjoyable ride with Jesse and the gang going with their shortcomings and triumphs.

A Game about a Game
The gameplay consists of quick-time events (QTEs) in which you will press Q or E or motion a move command to dodge, attack, or make an action happen within about three to five seconds before you either fail or achieve the action that was required. There will be moments where you can move around freely in a very confined area to find clues. Talk to individuals, or just hear some relative background information regarding the story and/or scenario you are in.
Building and/or crafting is very limited throughout the experience. Constructing any forms of buildings or fortifications are done by other characters or by Jesse with fast-forward approach with you spamming the Q button. When it comes to crafting items this becomes restricted. You will acquire items throughout your adventures and at certain events will you be able to assemble said items. Amazingly, nothing changed from the sandbox version to the story mode. Making a lever still requires one stone block and one wooden stick as if done the same way in Minecraft. The fact it meshes so well into the story and gameplay that this feels genuine. I am happy to see it done respectably.
I found the movement at times to be wonky as if it was not fleshed out completely for a keyboard versus a controller. An example would be if I was trying to move diagonally towards the Northeast, Jesse would then move in the direction of East or North. The UI was not bad since the only time it showed any of the items you carried would only be during the exploration or combat with your health bar during the combat scenario.
A lot of the gameplay is realistically you sitting back and watching a playable movie. There will be interactions where you will decide what is the best choice depending on how you want to play the protagonist. There is no right or wrong option, but you do get to see the results of what others have shown at the end of each episode. The selections you pick do not give an alternative ending, but it does change the course of actions that others treat you throughout the campaign. I would have liked to have alternative outcomes when different decisions you pick throughout the story effects the ending.

What’s in Your Crafting Table?
GPU: EVGA FTW3 GeForce RTX 3070 Ti
CPU: Intel Core i9-10900K
OS: Windows 10
Ram: 64GB
Storage: Evo 870 4TB (SSD)
During the gameplay, I did NOT experience any crashes, stutter, lag, and blue screen of death, or any graphical hiccups. I did, however, experience once in a blue moon that the audio would cut-off between characters at times if an option was chosen too early or static noise. Otherwise, the game is solid, loads quickly, and runs smoothly.

Build Awhile and Listen
I enjoyed this title from Telltale Games. I have read and heard many complaints of the title, but that is maybe because I am not a big, ultra, over 9000 Minecraft fan to see the negative side of it while comparing it to the actual Minecraft product. Between some of the wonky controls and slight audio hiccups, I found it transpire in an engaging, entertaining, and well-written for a more or less interactive movie.ve movie.

Minecraft: Story Mode
Pontos Positivos:
- Possui nuvem Steam;
- Cerca de 8 a 10 horas de gameplay;
- Possui conquistas;
- 7 linguagens disponíveis;
- Episódio 1 grátis (não é possível baixar da loja);
- Ainda é possível baixar e jogar normalmente;
- Pode ser jogado com controle;
- Pode escolher seu personagem (gênero e cor) no jogo.
Pontos Negativos:
- Não possui cartas colecionáveis;
- Poucos bugs porém não atrapalham a jogabilidade;
- Foi removido da loja;
- Não é possível criar ou conectar uma conta aos servidores da Teltalle Games;

Episodes 4, 5, and 6 see a drastic step up in quality before the series ends with two episodes that fail to add anything new. You get a few epic action scenes riddled with those Q and E button mashing and more new characters without any backstory or explanation for their actions. If every episode were as good as those middle three, the series would be fantastic. Instead there's a horrible start and a mediocre finish to the entire series.
This series is simply bad.

Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Story of UNDERTALE
I fell from the light
Talk? Or should I fight?
Monster genocide
This my UNDERTALE
[Verse 1]
I fell through a cave on Mt. Ebott
I faced an evil talking flower in a pot
Explains the plot, wants me dead, wants me to rot
Toriel saves me, takes me to her home
And hooks me up with a brand-new monster phone
Leaves me alone, but I escape and meet some bones
[Pre-Chorus]
Should I be a pacifist?
Or should I use my fists?
I’m feeling evil, think I’ll kill them all
[Chorus]
I’m homicidal, and I’ve got a taste
I want to wipe out the Monster race
I’ve got no patience, got no resolve
I will slaughter, screw the dialogue
[Bridge]
I fell from the light
Talk? Or should I fight?
Monster genocide
This my UNDERTALE
[Verse 2]
I’ll slaughter Undyne, I’ll waste who I choose
With all this EXP there’s no way that I’ll lose
Now watch me move, I won’t stop, I’m feelin' rude
Asgore is shaking, he hears my approach
I’ll slaughter Sans and squash his bro like a roach
Chara’s my coach, all these monsters I will poach
[Pre-Chorus]
Screw being pacifist
I think I’ll use my fists
I’m feeling evil, think I’ll kill them all
[Chorus]
I’m homicidal, and I’ve got a taste
I want to wipe out the Monster race
I’ve got no patience, got no resolve
I will slaughter, screw the dialogue
[Bridge]
Burnt pan, toy knife, use a stick to take your life
Tough glove, ballet shoes, epic fight like front page news
King Asgore wants to collect human souls
Seven of them, is his ultimate goal
Open the door, to humanity’s realm
Start a new war, humans overwhelm
[Chorus]
I’m homicidal, and I’ve got a taste
I want to wipe out the Monster race
I’ve got no patience, got no resolve
I will slaughter, screw the dialogue

The story is better than you'd think it is, it managed to keep me entertained during my recent replay, unlike most things that I played when I was younger. Even now I still find it as enjoyable as I did 4 and a half years ago.
One of my only big problems that I have with this game is how there are a ton of glitches that existed when this was first released, and they're still there now. My second and last problem with this game is the Adventure Pass, the main story of MCSM ended on Episode 4, and Episode 5 was completely different, the new story that Ep. 5 started is continued in the Adventure Pass, which means that in order to finish the story that you started, you have to pay more than half of the price you paid for the game just to do that.
In the end Minecraft: Story Mode is definitely worth $15 or less, you can actually still find keys for the game online if you still want to give it a try. If you don't wanna take the risk then there's still a chance Telltale will bring it back to steam, though it's a small one at that. But if they ever do, I recommend you try it out.
