Throne of the Herald ist Melvor Idles erste Erweiterung und führt dein Abenteuer fort, während du mehr über die mystischen Kräfte, die das Land Melvor umgeben, sowie die dunklen Mächte, die sich außerhalb der Hauptstadt verstecken, entdeckst.

Mit neuen Orten zum Erkunden, neuen Rüstungen zum Herstellen und noch mehr Monstern zum Bekämpfen verspricht die Erweiterung 'Throne of the Herald' viele neue Inhalte in Melvor Idle, inklusive einer besonderen Vertiefung der Story.

Leider hat das DLC viele Bugs mit sich gebracht die das Spiel momentan unspielbar machen. Ich hoffe damit mein Speicherstand nicht hin ist. Aber selbst bei einem neu erstellten Charakter ist das Spiel nicht fehlerfrei. Momentan kann ich keine Kaufempfehlung aussprechen. Schade.

Fair price and an awesome dev. Don't have to say more, just get the base melvor, this dlc and be amazed.

The new balance after the update is just a disaster.
I played the game for a long time - and in general I liked it. But with the new balance, I need to play many weeks and months to move on.

This expansion adds quite a bit to the game. 120 skill cap , New items and new dungeons. It is worth the $5 purchase. I have gotten a lot of playtime out of it and I am nowhere near done. The next expansion is right around the corner as well.

I will say that development on this game has been really slow since jagex Ltd became a part of Games by Malcs. I am not a fan of that aspect. The game just isn't as good anymore but it is still worth looking into.

This DLC adds a ton of more content on top of the base game. So if you enjoyed the base game and want a lot more progress that can be made in the game, this is for you. However, this DLC development is really badly balanced with fixing the base game. This game still has items with missing descriptions, the total bonus tooltips still say that they will show where the bonuses come at some point, but they still aren't added even after me playing this for more than half a year.
This DLC itself also has a bit of a letdown in that it doesn't add achievements for reaching the new max levels for skills. I mean that's just really lazy DLC making that you don't add new achievements (not to mention that one of the base game's achievements says that it is bugged, again the base game should have been fixed first)- So in conclusion I don't like how the developer focused on this DLC rather than first polishing the glaringly unfinished parts of the base game that any player will see way before reaching the after main game content this DLC adds. But this DLC itself has mostly good content.

It is absolutely mind-boggling how much new content is added in this expansion, and for how little the price is for the amount of content you get.

When I first heard of this expansion, I was expecting this expansion to be somewhere in the $15 range, mostly because of all of the additional content that was added to this game, and I was absolutely shocked when I saw that the expansion was only going to be $5. You're literally getting this expansion for an absolute steal.

Please be advised that all of the content for this expansion is Level 100 on, so if you want to get the most out of this expansion, as well as the best experience for this expansion, try to make sure that you are just barely Level 100 in every skill. If you just want access to as much of the expansion as possible without having to do too much in the way of unlocking the new content, it is highly recommended that you have done the following: Level 120 Runecrafting, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, Smithing, Cooking, Herblore, Fletching; Level 110 Astrology, Defense, Attack, Slayer, Prayer, HP, Strength, Magic, Ranged; completion of Impending Darkness and Into the Mist; at LEAST 5B GP and 10-20M Slayer Coins; a basic understand of how Township works.

The above are just my opinion on what you should have and will not reflect the standards of everyone getting into this expansion.

Here are the positives, neutral, and negatives for this expansion:

(positives will be denoted with a +, neutral will be denoted with no symbol, and negatives will be denoted with a -)

+A lot of the new stuff you can get is very expensive, but this is balanced with the fact that there are a lot of new things you can do to earn more money than you used to be able to prior to the expansion.
+An extreme amount of new content that will extend the amount of time spent playing this game from it's already staggering 10,000+ hours to probably more than 20,000 hours.
+Almost every skill in the game has new content to explore, and all of the new content added to skills in the game are too numerous to actually talk about in this section. Just know that there is a LOT when it comes to this expansion.
+Lots of unique item images that are very interesting to look at.
+Township is really hard to grasp at first, but once you get the hang of it, things will run a bit more smoothly.
+The Township tasks are an interesting way to prolong certain experiences, with a few exceptions that are just too grindy.
If you come into the expansion with a ton of Mastery Tokens saved up (like I did), it becomes very easy to just instantly get 100% mastery in the expansion. Not saying this is a downside, but it does make you wonder.....
I understand why there are locks in place to prevent access to all of the additional content in regards to Woodcutting and Mining, but I think it could have been handled a bit differently.
A lot of the Superior Skill Capes bonuses' seem a bit lazily put together, with a lot of them just giving a massive boost to either doubling items or preserving resources, as well as an additional guaranteed product per action. While this is powerful, I kind of wish that they were made to kind of be a bit more powerful than they already are.
As someone who does way more skilling than combat, it is kind of a pain to have to go through so many roadblocks in order to be able to enjoy later level combat.
Hopefully, you have a lot of GP and Slayer Coins saved up from prior to this expansion, as there are a LOT of new things to buy with regards to GP and Slayer Coins. If you don't, then expect to spend a good amount of time saving up GP and Slayer Coins.
-A lot of the later gear you can make in Smithing won't replace any of the God equipment you already have. The only gear that seems to actually be worth getting that is actually better than the God Equipment (melee-wise), is the Meteorite set, which has +11% DR instead of the +8% or +7% you get with Terran/Ragnar sets, and even then, the Meteorite set is only the helmet, plate legs, and plate body. I guess this was done so you could still wear the upgraded God Gloves and God Boots.
-The only thing I'm not a fan of in terms of Township is how in depth it is. There are a lot of moving pieces involved in Township, so it is very easy to make a critical mistake and then have to restart the whole thing all over again because you cannot recover from said critical mistake. This makes me want Township to be a little bit more forgiving in that aspect.
-A lot of the new good combat gear is locked behind combat requirements. I wish that there were other ways to be able to get some of this powerful combat gear without having to jump through so many hoops in order to get them.
-The official Wiki for the game has not been updated with any of the new information from the expansion. Usually, they like to give people a week or two before adding new information to the Wiki, but in this instance, I think it would have been better to add at least some information for the expansion to the Wiki immediately so that people can go there for help with things in case they either don't want to, or cannot join the official Discord for the game in order to get their questions answered.

There is a lot more that I could say about this expansion, but the end result would be the same: This is an absolute MUST BUY if you own the base game.

10/10 for this expansion, even with the negatives I gave it.

Throne of the Herald is a massive expansion to an already content packed game.
This expansion almost doubles the amount of content that was already there.
Throne of the Herald adds:
All skills now go up to level 120
8 new slayer areas
7 new dungeons
55 new enemies to fight
10 new magic spells
7 new prayers
3 new curses
4 new auroras
559 new items
15 new pets.
And all the other new additions to all other non-combat skills (trees, ores, fish, etc.)
All of this for $4.99

For new players, you will have well over a year's worth of content to experience. For older and returning players there is a lot here to add to the already rich experience of the base game. Well worth it.

As someone with a 100% completion in the base game this is a must buy. All the content is post-level 100 so do try out the base game first before purchasing this. But once you get to the point where you can benefit from the massive amount of content in this DLC, this is definitely something you'll want to consider buying.
