Außerdem süß, klein und günstig! (Jedenfalls im Sale ;))
Also schnapp es dir^^
naja Rette halt jemanden -> in diesem Fall deinen Bruder.

How: 2.5D platformer with a great graphics. We have the magic marker. With its help Max (the main hero of this story) can draw (and erase) rocks, branches, vines, water streams and fireballs. And these things, in turn, will help us to solve riddles on our way.
Pros:
- graphics.
- draw-erase mechanics
- simple game for a couple of evenings
downsides:
- plot is as simple as possible
Verdict: Worth to buy. I recommend playing it between two big titles. It will let your brains reboot.

Underrated
Max: and the Curse of Brotherhood is a platformer game from XBOX game studios and in my opinion it's really underrated.
I had fun with this game. I usually dislike platformers since i'm not 12 anymore and my reflexes and reaction are really bad, like REALLY bad. But i'm so happy someone made a platformer for people like me. I can't say it was easy for me to finish it, I died so many times and boss fights took some time but it was rewarding rather than frustrating. You are allowed some mistakes and your timing doesn't need to be 100% precise unlike in many other games. In general this was a challenging yet enjoyable journey. Although I can see this being too challenging for some people who are even slower than me. Some bosses could be annoying or section where you need to run and jump quickly because something tries to catch you.
But platforming isn't everything this game offers. It's kind of similar to Unravel (maybe same dev team? Too lazy to check it out, sorry, i'm a really lazy and tired person). You have magical marker and you can paint various objects using it to help the main character traverse through chasms and other dangerous obstacles. So you'll need to combine platforming and drawing at the same time. Which brings something fresh into the genre. At least at the time this game was released.
Main character is very charming along with beautiful character design, level modeling and their design. The game looks decent even today and some areas are really beautiful. Characters are nicely animated and it sometimes feels like a 3D movie, although don't expect Pixar quality.
It's all 3D graphics which look good so it's might not be potato friendly but you definitely don't need a beast PC to run this. All the levels are beautiful, again I will bring Unravel into this because in some ways they look similar.
Controls are pretty good and responsive although you will need to adapt to gameplay mechanics, but once you do it's all fine.
Sound design is of highest quality here. From wonderful voice acting to sounds and music which sometimes could make some sections harder because music kinda makes you feel like you need to rush things and makes running/platforming really intense. Well done.
A very good platforming game for people who want to play platformers but can't due to their lack of skill. Still challenging though but doable and doesn't become frustrating too often. If you enjoy cute games with that Pixar/Dysney vibe you definitely should play.
Pros
- Challenging but not too frustrating
- Great level design
- Beautiful sound design
- Great graphics
- Cute
Cons
- Some bosses or particular sections might get little frustrating at times

Gameplay - Very creative use of a 'weapon/tool'. Very artsy. Running for your life screaming felt right and the weight/gravity behind jumping was the best I've played in a while. I sometimes confused erasing something and making it, and aiming the marker using a game controller took a little work, but proved no problem. I royally sucked at timing jumps at and off swinging ropes - hilariously so.
Puzzles - The game gives you a snazzy marker you use to go from place to place, providing a wide array of small puzzles to figure out. This is where the game really shines. While I didn't get stuck anywhere hardcore, the amount of creativity that goes into the puzzles and the various ways you can do them is on the high end of awesome.
Graphics - Graphics are pretty. Graphics are P.R.E.T.T.Y. Pretty.
Plot/Characters - The plot is light-hearted, and you get a guiding voice that strings you on. It definitely keeps you engaged. And Max's little quirks and reactions to everything are great. There's not much variety in baddies, but all the baddies in the game are also great.
Replayability - Hugely replayable game. There are 75 'cameras' you need to find and deactivate, and 18 amulet pieces to collect. The game is also short, lending to fun speedrun opportunities.
Glitch - Once, in the water/rain level, I fell next to and got stuck under a water bug monster thing. When it happened the game wouldn't accept that I died and wouldn't go to menu. I had to manually close it. Afterwards, it returned me to my last checkpoint and everything was chill. There are probably other obscure glitches in there, but nothing that ruined the game.
If you like sidescrollers, puzzle games, need a good laugh, and want a game that's over all entirely fun to play, you have absolutely nothing to lose by playing Max: The Curse of Brotherhood. Buy it. It's a well-made game. Way better made than most on the Sidescroller Steam shelf.

The chase scenes are the only thing I didn't love about the game. They are intense and impressive but I had to repeat a couple of them a few times because the controls aren't perfect and I would get stuck in the middle of a jump or Sam just wouldn't jump the same distance when doing the exact same move. Apart from that, great game.
9/10
