Loadout is an outrageous new multi-player shooter that’s all about the guns, baby! Build a massive variety of absolutely insane weaponry - billions of combinations - totally customized, totally unique, and totally deadly.

Our robust and modular Weaponcrafting system allows players to make their own weapons from a wide variety of weapon parts, and then modify their entire arsenal to suit their play style. There are no defined classes in Loadout. You define your own class through the weapons you create.

Loadout is also loaded with over-the-top comedic violence, stylish character models, and crazy player animations. We aim to add a fresh, new look to the shooter experience that gives players a full-adrenaline rush that is totally different from the vast array of modern combat titles. From our hilariously gory damage system, to our wacky character customizations, Loadout will appeal to the lunatic in us all. But don’t let the demented humor fool you. At its core, Loadout is a skill-based shooter that’s easy to learn, but hard to master.

Most importantly, we are 100% dedicated to adding more content to Loadout such as new weapon payloads, maps, game modes, and much more. Auch wenn das Spiel schon leider länger abgestellt ist, möchte ich es nochmal ehren, da es schon
ein sehr schönes Ding. Um sich mal abzureagieren war es gut und um mal 20 Stunden zu vernichten.

Took me multiple google searches and looking through multiple old youtube videos to remember that this game existed and what it was called. Used to be a really fun and unique game, kind of like what Fortnite is now except more adult and a little more in-depth. RIP

The sad thing about this game and all its fans, is that most fans dont realize that the company that owns this game have shut their doors and are no longer in business. Who owns the content now is the question. Im sure many of us would run a couple of our own servers if it was Open Sourced. This was a perfect game. It had me up 3-4 days straight playing.. It always made me laugh and cry at the same time. I loved the the idea of this game.

Hopefully some developers love it too, that they can get together and make a LoadOut part Deux lol That would be a blast!

While it might seem odd to write a review in 2021 for a dead game, this is really one for anybody who remembers the game and in a bout of nostalgia looks it up. There is a very dedicated team working on a project; Loadout Reloaded. There's no real time line for it, but the goal is to have multiplayer loadout working once more. It's already possible to access all maps and muck around a lot in singleplayer.

So if you miss Loadout as much as so many of these reviews seem too, check it out. And if you're more technically minded, maybe lend a hand too!

I was brought here by Criken2 's Big Booty Bertha video a fateful 7 years ago and tried a bit of the game, the Loadout design was fun and unique, visuals were a mix of cartoonish and Gorey, but it was a neat game from the little I played of it, and it had some neat ideas in mind, It's a shame the publisher just closed it down out of the blue on folks, I heard a lot of support for this game and I came back to give it another look and was saddened to see it was no longer available. I remember having some good times with it however, thank you for the memories!

What a f*cking fun game it was, completely unlike anything else before or since and all it really needed was a $5 or $10 pricetag to have kept it afloat. I would 100% back any attempt to relaunch this game though I doubt it will ever happen.

Played this game from the beta onward, even had the tshirt to prove it. It was just a fking blast of chaos refrerences and customization. IF this game ever comes back i am MORE than willing to buy it again. it is one of my all time favorites. and it's a darn shame kids won't be able to play and goof around with this gem anymore.

God, I miss this game so much sometimes. I wish I had played it more when it was around because it was truly a unique multiplayer shooter concept. The customization was a treat, the ultra violence and goofy animation styling was a delight, and the combat really kept you on your toes. If anyone were to make a spiritual sequel, I'd be on that shit like white on rice.

Had a lot of great memories of this one; a really fun, unique, content-packed shooter with reasonable monetization and great map and mode variety, albeit missing a complete single-player mode. While the game is dead now, the Loadout Reloaded project will hopefully bring this game back to its former glory. 9/10.

When I was younger and didn't had a decent PC for gaming, this was one of the few games I could and did play. It was one of the first games I played when I discovered Steam. It let a mark on me, I will never forget this game. I hated to die and I can't really remember if I was even good at this, I also don't believe in 8 hours of playtime only in my library, It makes me think I had other account. Anyways, rest in peace, old friend, maybe we will be together one day.

I absolutely loved this game when during the 2014-2015(?) era. I was introduced to the game through YouTube videos (STAR_, AllShamNoWow, and PewDiePie). It was one of the first Steam games I ever really got into. The gameplay, design, and idea behind was such a refreshing breath of air I haven't seen in previous F2P games that it blew my mind. One of the things that brought (a lot) of people to it was the absolute customization of your weapons, a diverse amount of gamemodes always made it feel like you couldn't get bored, and it being very casual.

I didn't go on Steam for a couple years and when I came back it was sad to see what happened to the game. It was one of games I enjoyed. I've heard rumblings of this game making a comeback, but that's doubtful. If it does, I'll be very happy to jump back into the fray.

If this game would work it would be so awesome but it was brutally murdered by shutting of the login servers.

Hey Edge of Reality please don't let this game Rest In Pieces. If you don't want to host servers please patch out the need for login servers and let the community host there own game servers.

What can I say about this game... This game was my favorite game of all time. This was the game that got me into PC gaming. When I was a Sophomore in High School I had gotten straight A's for the first time in my young school life (I'm a smart guy just unbearably lazy), my grandmother was so proud of me that she bought me at the time a $1,000 laptop (it'd probably sell for $75 now lol). Anyway she gave me this laptop and at the I was playing mmorpg's. Eventually I started browsing on Steam and I saw a trailer for this game. The part that caught my eye was one of the critics saying that this game was a cross between Looney Tunes and a Quentin Tarantino movie. Knowing both fairly well I gave this game a shot and what happened next changed my small little mind.

This game blew me away I was on this game everyday all day. If I wasn't playing this game I was playing Pokemon Showdown. If I wasn't playing Showdown I was playing this game for hours on end. The customization in this game is/was endless. I had so much fun with every second I put into this game. The friends I had made and being able to play with the devs in game was a phenomenal experience. I gladly put money into this game and if they were ever to come back i would put more money into it now that I'm an adult. The premise and the ideas they had were great they just needed a larger fan base. If this game were to come back as a battle royal I think it could contend. It would be the Fortnite for adults with the cheesy cartoon graphics that we are all looking for. This game was short lived but damn was it a hell of a time worth playing. Expecting a comeback for this game is farfetched, but a guy can dream right?

10/10 would play again.

This game WAS amazing and I love it with every fiber in me, I only wish I could bring it back, it was shutdown a while ago and I wish it wasnt. It also always will hold the special memories I have of playing with friends (or friend I'm pretty lonely). I miss this game and always will
