Über das Spiel
Full loot, free PvP, assets destruction during sieges and raids, complex crafting and no target combat systems. These are just some of features that makes our game rather hardcore then casual "theme park" MMORPG.
Sandbox
Sandbox means that our goal is to design virtual world with its own set of mechanisms and rules that will let players to do anything within our world that their imagination desires. Like a real sandbox, with some sand, some tools and your hands you can do, whatever you want – dig a tunnels, shovel moats, build castles and raise hills.
These are the exact same things you will be able to do in our game: you can shape terrain in any way you like, such as raise ground, lower ground, flatten it for further building placements, dig tunnels, even find ore veins and mine them. You can build whole underground cities, as you are not limited with width or height of your tunnels. You can make a huge pyramid with your friends and dig a maze inside of it just for fun. Only limitation is your imagination! Please watch our pre-alpha videos to get a look at these aspects of the game in more detail.
If you don’t want to dwell underground you can make a home for yourself, a whole village, town or even a castle. You can also make it sandbox-style. We will let you build whole castle walls with sections, allowing you to build it however you like. Who knows, maybe you will be the first one to build the Great Wall in our world. Same goes for buildings – you can either choose to use preset buildings (such as windmills, warehouses, keeps etc.) or design your own multistory building square by square and build them however you like.
MMORPG
MMORPG stands for massively multi-player online role-playing game. This means, that you won’t be alone in your sandbox, there will be many more other players that will be aiding you further your own goals, or working against you to further their own, all the time shaping our virtual world. It also means that there will be an RPG system, based on: statcap and skillcap concepts (UO style), alignment and a rich crafting system spiced with an innovative flash minigames concept.
Realistic-fictional world
This means that we are inspired by the medieval ages (since fall of Rome till gunpowder in Europe) and representing this time period with as much realism as possible, this is our focus as we approach every aspect of our game building process. However on the other hand, story, race archetypes, some equipment and items are fictional. Religion is more powerful in our world, allowing some localized wonders to appear or giving powers to players to recall back home or protect their divine private property from vandals. So it’s neither a historical simulation game with 100% authenticity, nor we will have elves or orcs in game. It is a hybrid of the two, leaning more towards realism.

Das kämpfen ist ziemlich komplexe. Es gibt viele Berufe die erlernt werden können. Man muss die Intelligenz runter stufen um Fähigkeiten vernünftig zu leveln. Damals war das Volk ja auch noch nicht so schlau. Es gibt viele Tiere. Mann kann die ganze Welt bearbeiten. Und große Gebiete einnehmen und drauf bauen.

Klar hat das Spiel macken, aber unter dem Strich mit abstand eines der besten coop Spiele, die ich kenne.
Ich persönlich würde nich tnochma aktiv damit anfangen es mit Freunden zu zocken, denn das kostet mich einfach zu viel Zeit von meinem Leben, obwohl mir das Feudale leben xD (LiF) echt gefiel.
Wie ich Tierhaltung und Landwirtschaft geliebt und zugleich gehasst habe xD
Grafisch sau geiles Spiel, Die Jahreszeiten genial und wer es mag auch die PVP Schlachten (gewöhnungsbedürftig, rasant schnell) wie man in der Menge auch mal den Überblick verlieren kann. Super Spiel. Solo nich tzu empfehlen, zu langwierig und hat keinen Sinn.
Also kein Solo Spiel aber defintiv eines mit Freunden, je mehr desto besser.

PvE,PvP und RP alles ist möglich für Krieger die in die Schlacht ziehen wollen , aber
auch für die PvE verrückten unter euch die sich daran erfreuen wie ihre Siedlung, ihr
Dorf oder Stadt oder sogar riesige Burgen bzw. Festungen erstehen, wachsen und
sich immer weiter entwickeln. Am meisten Freude bereitet dieses Game wenn man
es mit Gleichgesinnten spielt da es viele aufgaben zu meistern giebt und viel Arbeit
vor einem liegt aber gemeinsam schaft mann alles was man sich vornimmt.
Also ich hoffe meine kleine Info zu diesem Game hat euch nich alt zu sehr gelangweilt
wünsche euch allen viel Spaß im Spiel und vielleicht läuft man sich ja mal über denn Weg.

1 - Angenehme Grafik
2 - Angenehme Emotes
3 - Gilde/ Siedlungerschaffung ist recht gut mit eigener Flagge und solch Sachen
4 - Kampfsystem ist Dynamisch, was nicht schlecht ist.
Contra:
1- Unlogische fertigkeitsmechaniken.
2- Schlechtes terraforming
3- Unsinnige Baumechanik bzw Materialmechanik.
4- Wenige Möglichkeiten für Individuelles Gestallten
5- Wird nicht weiter Entwickelt
6- Wurde zuviel auf die Community gehört, versuchten es allen recht zu amchen was nicht ging
7- Wenige Rezepte
8- wenig Flora und Fauna
9- Gebäudeplazierung ist Schrecklich, nehmen viel ein und haben wenig Platz im inneren und weitere Objekte kann man nicht dazubauen wie Zäune
Eigendlich hatten die Entwickler ein verdammt gutes Vorbild gehabt was sie übernehmen konnten um das Spiel gut zu machen, haben es aber leider nicht Geschaft .

Den Multiplayer kann man ja total vergessen...
Versteht mich nicht falsch, die Leute sind soweit alle lieb und nett aber:
Für jeden Server braucht man extra Modpack's(was nicht wirklich einfach ist, wenn man Neuling ist) und man hat sich im jeweiligen Dscord zu melden, am besten mit Lebenslauf und wartet dann dort erstmal 2 Tage bis sich ein Admin meldet...
Wenn man das nicht tut ist am nächsten Tag halt einfach dein Charakter gelöscht...
Also für Leute die einfach mal ne Runde daddeln wollen... spielt Singleplayer oder was anderes...

Teils ist das Spiel sehr umständlich. Nach all der Zeit laufen wir immer noch alle in Lumpen herum, außer die, die Rüstungen tragen, denn offenbar ist es wohl einfacher eine Rüstung herzustellen, als einfache Kleidung, die über Lumpen hinausgeht.
Die Häuser sind zudem festgelegte Modelle - wer also individuell bauen will, wird mit diesem Spiel nicht so glücklich. Kleinere Bugs treten ebenso hier und da auf.
Dennoch macht das Spiel durchaus Spaß, aber es ist für mich kein Spiel, was ich über viele Monate oder Jahre hinweg spielen könnte.

Ich gehe mal davon aus das Life is Feudal : Your Own tot ist und in die ewigen Gründe der nutzlosen Spiele gegangen ist .
Demnach würde ich keine Kaufempfehlung zu diesem Zeitpunkt aussprechen !

Folgende Kritikpunkt solltest du erfüllen damit dieses Game dir auch längerfristig spaß machen kann:
- Du brauchst viel Zeit, da der Progress in diesem Game sehr schleppend vorangehen kann
- Du solltest kontaktfreudig sein und dich auf andere Spieler einlassen können, denn alleine kommst du nicht weit und wenn doch dann nur sehr langsam
- Du musst Frust und Langeweile ertragen können, denn manchmal sitzt man Stundenlang da und sucht nach nur einer Integrität für ein neues Bauwerk
Solltest du nach einem Game suchen welches auf schnellem Progress und Kampf im Mittelalter basiert ist dieses Game nicht unbedingt etwas für dich (Serverabhängig)
Abschließend kann man sagen das es deutlich besser ist als die MMO Version, man sollte bei der Wahl seines Servers jedoch bedacht vorgehen.

Es funktioniert nach folgendem Konzept:
1. Spieler joinen einem Server
2. Es baut sich eine wachsende rege Spielerschaft mit aktivem RP und PvP auf
3. Spieler investieren Unmengen an Zeit im Aufbau von Gebäuden, Werkzeugen, etc.
4. Einigen Spielern ist die Situation zu festgefahren und wollen was neues machen (was neues bauen, neues RP, etc.) und verlassen den Server
5. Server wird durch sinkende Spielerzahl unpopulär und es bleiben nur noch eine Hand voll inaktiver Spieler
6. Server wird gewiped oder eingestampft
Ich weiß nicht was solche Leute sonst machen würden in ihrer Freizeit aber das Hauptproblem liegt bei Punkt 4. Mir kann keiner sagen dass das wirklich Spaß macht denn dafür gehen einfach mal 1000e Stunden drauf.
Als Lebensversager habe ich das wenige male mitgemacht, um dann vor kurzem die Reißleine zu ziehen. In 3000 Stunden kann man locker eine Fremdsprache lernen anstatt sich dieses Elend anzutun.

There is a shop in the game so you can buy thing with cash i did not get any thing
i m going to look a more into the game
after looking at some videos on what to do and played the game again this is a not bad game after all it is a survival game
there are resources and you can craft stuff you just got to look for them
my suggestion is look at some video on this game and there some in the community hub
that why going to recommend game

After 12 months of playing the game, 3 months of running a server, I was spent. Great memories, but tired of leading a group of people and dealing with the infighting. I decided to join a new server and have a simple farm. I could log in, tend the chickens, reap the hay and raise pigs. It was great. But then some familiar friends appeared. I took them on as farm hands. We expanded the farm a bit, then more people turned up, we built a wall. Then some more faces appeared and before I knew it, something solo had organically turned into close knit community and some of the best RP I had the joy being part of - and some really great PvP. It's always a little sad when the servers have to be reset (c. 3 months) but by then you're already planning your next settlement and how you'll improve for next time!
Genuinely loved this game. It is not an easy start but once you've got it (and you find some decent people) it's truly epic.

The survival aspects are virtually non-existent with you only needing to eat to stay alive and food can just be picked up off the ground wherever you are, so theres no challenge to it. There is also very little to fight besides other players. You'll see the occasional wolf or bear now and again but thats about the only danger you'll face solo and they can be easily avoided, so theres little point to creating weapons or armour (which is pretty much the game's only end-goal). If you are unlucky enough to take damage theres no way to self-heal, so you just have to wait for hours and hours to pass in order to slowly regain hitpoints in single-player.
Its very obvious indeed that this game was abandoned long before it was ever polished into a respectable state. This is because it was designed as a proof of concept for the MMO that followed. Unsurprisingly, the now closed/failed MMO version was a lot more stable and less buggy than this unfinished version.
Don't waste your money on this.

The Steam profile describes this as a game that allows you to build and explore a medieval world however you want. Everything suggests you can build a house or a town or whatever you want, and all will be fine. Wander out and go hunting. Farm. Get creative. It even looks like you can get NPCs to live in your towns if you get it up there. In short, exactly what I was looking for.
It's actually an MMO with subscription services (pay them $$ to do things in game). I can't actually own the little shack I built because I need to claim the land. How do I do that in a server that has just me in it?
Find the castle and pay in game coins every day to claim it. How do you get these in-game coins? Pay real money for them seems to be the most common method unless you're in a big guild...
First, there is no castle anywhere. No NPC city, no crown land. Nothing.
Second, I don't have a big guild because I'm the only person in my private server.
Essentially, they took a game that was an interesting combination of Mount & Blade, Conan Exiles, and Minecraft, and F'd it all up with a cash grabbing scheme. A sneaky, underhanded one since they don't ever make it clear how this MMO stuff impacts the game as described.

I don't believe I ever not recommended a game I reviewed but I just can't recommend this game as I even read posts where someone with the Dev mark got aggressive with people for wanting NPCs. Instead, they did a whole different game as an MMO? Doesn't make sense and feels like a waste of resources when they could have just poured everything in this game with options to turn NPCs on or off, or what not.
Sorry, I just can't recommend this game until there are NPC options if there ever will be....You will sell more copies of this game with NPCs.

I play a lot of survival sandbox games and this one has more grind than most. You shouldn't be battling with the UI more than trying to survive. And survival isn't hard. You just need food, which you can find (don't even need much in the way of tools, sickle maybe) and don't need to cook, though the multi-step process just seems more convoluted than it needs to be.
So then if not survival, PVP? Well according to other reviews, good luck, the player base has tumbled. Well I played solo anyway, as is my want in such games, and this game wasn't well suited to that, as you need many hands to gather all the stuff to build things. Maybe that's the purpose. Except, once you do build things, you can't really interact with them: Hut flaps you walk through. Open doors via a menu (pointing at the wall). A Keep you can't place gardens on the roof (for sieges), because the UI won't let you build within a structure.
So in short, it looks unfinished and the devs have moved on. Its a grind/collect game in a medieval setting. If you succeed, you will have building you can't use, to further extend the massive and convoluted skill/resource processing tree designed to force you to work with other players, who no longer play.

Nevertheless I have found this game, even in some of the monotonousness of the tasks of grinding to boost your skill level, very satisfying, a refreshing change of pace from other games. I even found a server which is very friendly to newbies and they were true to their word.
Honestly, even though my experience is limited, the online community that I have discovered recently on this game (LiF YO for reference I haven't played MMO) is a far cry from the standard online community of most games I have played. I get the sense that many of the players on this game are not prejudiced, insecure, and vile 15 year old American boys (barf). Seriously, I needed help with figuring things out (get friendly with googling Life is Feudal before your google searches lol) and people actually walked we me through some things. A wolf was stalking my claim and I had no combat experience and could not kill it so someone else came and killed it for me for nothing in return. Like wow, honestly I haven't experienced that kind of online community in a very long time. Check this game out if you're looking for long-play format, sandbox style building with fairly realistic gameplay mechanics etc etc.

If you like a game that allows you to build medievil style your way ride on mounts fight in pvp vs other players or challange the wild life and hunt game this is for you

Cons - other players some can be real toxic
are the bugs and such? - No not that i have found these days back in early days yes there was lots but the game has come so far that bugs are normally a glitch that is cause by the player them selfs
Demounting a horsecart under a castle gate house and it appears on top the roof
But these can all be easely fixed by the GM of each server or by taking time to look around you when demounting ect ect

Even with cheats, the game is very slow and grindy... Combat hits miss half the time because of bad collision detection.
Development has slowed to a crawl, maybe a bug fix patch every 3 months.
This was a very cool and ambitious project, but it hasn't been able to advance properly... At this pace of development, maybe in 2040, they'll release a game that would have been cool in 2018.

Skillpoints can be set at your desired amount, this way you can master everything if you want
Same survival mechanics as MMO
Great building sandbox
Cons -
Needs update for QOL inline with MMO
No hostile creatures like in MMO (natives)
Skill tree isn't updated as in MMO so tree is difficult to master for some lines (mostly animal lore line)
Small map with minimal resource locations, making it difficult for larger groups especially if you want to pvp with friends.

but i do not suggest playing this game alone its SUPER BORING!
all you have to do find a good Roleplay server or PVEPVP server with active GMs and discord
you can almost do everything u want in this game !
find yourself a group join them and buckle up!
and yes you need to spend alot of time in this game to make some stuff like building up a castle or etc,etc....
but its fun if you like crafting and building.
Systems in this game are abit complicated i recommend you find someone who can help you teaching all the stuff!
also there are mods that makes game is alot easier !!
but overall i give it a 7/10

My little gaming community has been together for years. We flow through games together like a plague, and either settle and adapt, or move on. I'm sure we will end up moving on from LiF.
I have started my own server, because the MMO version was simply worthless. Claims everywhere, couldn't do anything, blah.
When I first played LiF, a lifetime ago when it was new, it was SO HARD that even playing for hours on end with my husband, we had nothing to really show for it.
Now, they've made some aspects of it easier, but the sheer lack of help in where to find things and how to do things makes it really difficult to pick up at the start. Placing items, for instance, doesn't seem very intuitive. Nor does clicking on the ground to search for herbs and food when there are SO MANY plants present unless you turn the settings down.
However, if you struggle through and learn how things work, which is difficult at best I won't lie, you begin so shape the world around you. It is not for playing alone. It is not for two people. 5 or more per community. And you will need schedules based on the timing settings of your server. For instance, having days set to 30 minutes means your animals will all be dead from hunger or standing in their own poo after 5 hours. Having days set to 2-3 hours per day so you can not have animals dying every other second means your other crafting takes forever (heating up forges, for instance, and getting metals to the smelting temps.) and farming is outrageous. It can take literal real world days for crops to grow with longer days. When we played with it at 12 hours a day it rained the WHOLE time we played, it was miserable, and we couldn't get anything done because everything was taking so long.
Anyways. If you have about 5 resilient people who get along and have a sense of adventure, this is a fun little community game. It is a grind. One of my friends routinely calls it dirt farming, because we spend so much of our time flattening land. But it is also rewarding to find that your grind is shaping the world, and it goes from nothing to huts, to homes, to bigger homes, specialty buildings, roads, carts...it's just a delightful evolution, especially if you have someone keep track of screen shots to keep up spirits.
I would highly suggest this game FOR GROUPS, for couples (romantic or friends, lol) who have time to commit and a willingness to diversify and do a lot of tasks, and for solo players who are out of their minds. (Literally. Insane. I can't imagine doing this alone without using the GM commands to just spawn things in and build a town.)

Firstly on the fastest game play settings, it still takes forever to acquire resources. Some people will argue that its realism, but some of us don't have 12 hours to gather resources for one house. Secondly how does molding clay help you smelt metal? Not sure how that is realistic. The only realism you will find in this game are the day and night cycles which are even. Even the hunger is unrealistic.
The idea was great, the graphics and concept was perfect. But its lacking and needs a tweak to make it more enjoyable for people who don't game 60 hours a week.

Build a farm, grow some veggies , or build a castle and smash your enemies lol , choice is yours.Playing solo is ok, but joining with a minimum of one friend is best in my opinion.
Steam says i got the game for free but i actually bought this way back in 2016 so i dont know what all that's about lol.

MMO is still in early access while this gem gets a copy update of MMO then is considered finished. This making 2 games then going with the best selling one and leaving other game behind is becoming a trend.
