New Game Mode
Kingshunt will be adding a new game mode called Guardian Assault for players to test out and give feedback! The playtest will begin this Friday the 9th at 8 AM EST!
What is Guardian Assault?
Guardian Assault is an asymmetrical 3v3 game mode that splits the teams into attackers and defenders.
The attacking team's objective is to push a payload along a pre-determined path to the opposing end of the map and use it to destroy the Guardian. Attackers are victorious if they are able to destroy the Guardian before the timer runs out.
The defending teams objective is to keep the attacking team at bay and stop the payload from reaching their Guardian at the end of its path. Defenders are victorious if they are able to keep their Guardian alive until the timer runs out.
Both teams have lane minions that assist them in pushing the payload and achieving the objective. Players can also make use of summons and runes to increase their strength and guide their team to victory. The map has a series of checkpoints that work in the attacking team's favor by adding more time to the clock and stopping the payload from being pushed back beyond that checkpoint.
