Just Survive is a post-apocalyptic survival game that immerses you in a world where humanity is fighting to take back control from the zombie hordes.

Scavenge for supplies, craft items, and build Strongholds to protect against dangers, both living and undead, that lurk around every corner.

SURVIVAL - Though the great outbreak has passed, the undead still linger in considerable numbers. Stay alert and quiet to avoid attracting them, and be prepared to either run or fight for your life at a moment’s notice.

CRAFT - Gathering raw materials is a key part of crafting. Axes, pickaxes, and crowbars allow you to harvest the various trees, rocks, and vehicles scattered around the world. You should collect what you can, when you’re not actively fending off threats.

TAKE BACK CONTROL - The first step in re-establishing society is to solidify a foothold in the struggle against the undead, and you can help by building a Stronghold in Badwater Canyon. Each location has unique advantages, so it’s wise to scout before making a commitment.

COORDINATE - Those that want to travel safely, access contested locations, and successfully defend their Strongholds will want to work together with other players. Note that Badwater Canyon is a desperate place, and your neighbors may find that they’re better off just taking what they need from your dead body.

I did play a lot back in when stupid BR and this game was a one game.
This game had best zombie hordes in multiplayer game, this had way much potential then dumb dayz. But no, fucking creators had to go for money grab with their retarded BR version of game.
Z1 BR is worst BR ever made, just check steam charts, 65 ppl played last 24h. They did sacrifice this game for their garbage BR. Dear devs - i hope you already lost all cash you got from us. Go fuck yourselfs.

I bought this game when it was one game. Before the split and abandonment of the zombie survival part. I really liked it, and it played well on my crappy pc at the time. I dont really play games with other people that much so i enjoyed my solitude, i could just run around avoiding zombies and building up my stores and defenses. I liked the mechanics from this game and havent found anything close that i enjoyed quite as much. RiP h1z1

Daybreak is not trustable. I got vacbanned because someone talked shit to me. Of course i said something back and then boom. He reported me for hate speech and now i got Vac on my main freaking account. Even tho Just Survive isn't on steam anymore, they won't remove the Vac from my profile... Only got to play the game for 16 hours! Waste of money...

When there were only a few battle royale servers this game was a gem, after daybreak started prioritizing battle royale this game went downhill pretty fast. It was sad seeing a great game going to sh!t. Hopefully, somebody will take notes and make even a better game similar to early h1z1.

honestly everything about this game was amazing prior to game split. and they killed it(in a bad way) with that new map and base build overhaul, shouldve kept the whole deck foundation place your base anywhere, instead they gave us plots of land. even tho they absolutely slaughtered this game, i also had a great time with it(prior to all the f*ckery) made great friends, had great encounters, and all in all had a blast whether it was tryna dome-piece a fully geared guy with a bow, or raiding a clan base.. I can say at one point in time this game was truly amazing , but the devs really dropped the ball.

Ok We all know that EG7 Global bought out Daybreak If they would just sit down and think HARD they could bring this game back! Would take a bit of doing......... But if they put our skins back and would charge 5 bucks a month to play people would pay that I know i would! Second they could rent out servers at 50 bucks a month thats another way to make cash the loot crates to buy to open another way as long as they are making new skins to get. Now I did the math on the 5 bucks a month idea and if 9,000 people are will to pay 5 bucks a month to play this game that would bring them in JUST on the 5 bucks a month ALONE 540,000 usd!!! This was for me, the greatest Zombie Survival game of conceived in human history so far. It's surreal feeling environment was unlike any other at the time, the care the developers put into the game, made it evident that we as a community had a word in on how the game became more rich. If it were still playable, till this day I would still be travelling those cabin trails plagued with people roaming for those rare crossbow loot drops within the cliff side cabin. I miss the adventures I had within this world, and hope one day this game will still make a come back, or even handed over the rights to someone else so that so many others can come back to this game. Taking it offline was a mistake....

You know day break, you have a habit of creating masterpieces of epic proportions and just patching them right out of existence. It happened with SWG, my favorite mmorpg of all time, and you did it with this masterpiece. You never know when to leave it alone and just let it be played. You also pull the plug when you realize you've all but destroyed your game. Stop doing this! Also, do us a favor and release the source code so the fans can still enjoy. I Don't know the full story but I know you at least allowed the SWGemu community this honor. Please, do the same with just survive. The fans deserve it. Don't let such an epic game die forever.

There is no other survival game like this one. It's very sad that they discontinued this project. I still believe it comes back one day.

Imagine being a game dev, and the battle royale craze has hit. Well, naturally a lazy dev such as the ones whom made this game, they abandon a game that people have paid money for, giving no option for a singleplayer mode, nor way to play the game you paid for, shutting down the servers, and devoting full time and effort to a battle royale game, one that blossomed for about 2 years and is now pretty dead. Wish I could get my money back, but steam likes to be greedy. Paid for the game, got 14 hours of play, game servers shut down, garbage dev's, never buy a product they develop, odds are they will just jump ship with your money like they did on this game.

This game was very good, but had a lot of problems because of DayBreak. They killed the game and it was the best thing that was out there.

So many great memories in this game. Yeah the bugs and later updates were brutally disappointing, but I played until it was sunset and would still play if it came back. I mean Daybreak sucks, obviously. Left us with absolutely nothing after all the money I put into the game, crates, and skins. But I loved H1. Leaving a good review because of hilarious times with friends and crazy fun builds in the good ol' days. Oh, and for swizzle xD

Was good back when it first came out. Was originally released as H1Z1. No idea why they changed the name but as with many other games who have done this, it screams scam now.

At least give us the ability to play offline as my refund keeps getting rejected as under Australian Consumer Law I can because the game didn't end up being finished.

I did like it, untill they changed h1z1 to 'just survive' to then just shut down the servers.....

The combat was great, the mixture between searching for materials and surviving zombies was a thrill. Just a bummer other games which sort of ripped of h1z1 became more popular. Had a few very enjoyable sessions with some friends.

I supported this game since it was just called H1Z1. Its downright stupid that they shifted to the battle royale scene just because it was the popular thing to do. Many people just wanted another survival game, not another battle royale which is worse than the other ones IMO. Daybreak as far as I'm concerned is a joke.
