Hello Seekers! It’s been just under three months since our reveal at the PC Gaming Show, so we want to fill you in on what we’ve been working on.

First, in case you missed it, our free Open Steam Playtest is live NOW until September 21st (10am PDT / 1pm EDT). We couldn’t be more excited to be finally inviting you into our world and getting your feedback – letting us know which puzzles you love, and which parts of the world you’ve most enjoyed exploring.

Since you last heard from us, we’ve been creating puzzles and making all sorts of improvements to the game. Gearing up for the Playtest, we really wanted to optimize the First Time User Experience, giving you a taste of both the expansive open world, and a variety and depth of puzzles. We’ve also been improving our UX and UI elements, progression and overall game flow to be as satisfying as possible. And, of course, we’re always optimizing to make the game run smoothly, so you can stay focused on your next eureka moment.

But we’re far from finished. There is still a ton of work ahead of us, and your feedback from the playtest is going to make a huge difference in shaping what Islands of Insight will be going forward, so be sure to join our Playtest and let us know about your experience.
