Natürlich kein Call of the Wild, hab mir Hunting Simulator im Sommer Sale 2019 für 10€ geholt und kann die negativen Komentare nicht ganz nachvollziehen.
Die Grafik lässt mit einem leistungsstarken PC gut nach oben drehen, so sieht das Game auch gut aus bzw. Grafik OK aus.
Das Gameplay ist wie ich finde super anpirischen, Geduld, und Ruhe dann ist es auch ein leichtes Beute zu machen, das Wild lässt sich halt nicht zwingen erlegt zu werden.
Die Umgebung und Sound sind ok bis gut.
Mir taugt das Spiel, meine Jagtinstinkte kommen voll auf ihre Kosten, ganz klare Kaufempfehlung.

Das einzige was an diesem Spiel spass machen kann ist wenn man schiesst. Das wars aber dann auch. Ich verstehe auch nicht worum es genau gehen soll ? Man sammelt Punkte kommt ein Level weiter. Vielleicht schaltet man dann ein neues Level frei oder selten eine Waffe. Es ist nichtmal ersichtlich wann man was und wie freischaltet. Die Laufanimation ist ja mal richtig ...... Habt ihr schonmal versucht W+A+Shift zu drücken ? Ist euch bewusst wie das aussieht ?

Alles im allen rate ich ab diese Spiel zu kaufen.

Das war echt ein Flopp mit den Game.Keine Updates und Verbeserungen .Hasen sind unsterblich und und und :-(

hunting simulator ist im grosen und ganzen ein tolles spiel allerdings ist es sehr nervig diese hasen zu erlegen sie halten 3 - 6 schuss aus der 22ziger aus bitte verbessern

Grafik und Gameplay sind durchaus nicht schlecht. Auch Auswahlmöglichkeiten wie Charaktere, Waffen (Ne Menge zum Freischalten ! ) und Aufgaben sind ganz cool.
Aber alter Falter, da gibts noch ne Menge Bugs zu bewältigen. Manche Wege sind plötzlich nicht mehr begehbar, das Spiel hängt sich einfach auf oder der Charakter fängt plötzlich an in der Luft zu laufen.
Da geht noch was !

Its is sort of hard to play but once you get it its better i love the way everything looks i love nature and hunting so it super good!

I own this on PS4, but since I refuse to pay for Playstation+ anymore, I cannot play it in Co-Op online, so I bought it here on Steam... This is the best hunting game You can get to play online with, it has built in voicechat, LOTS of different settings You can change to make it easier/harder hunts to do with Your' friends, or strangers, AND only has one dirt cheap DLC (unlike that Hunter game that has more DLC then You can shake a stick at, & THAT game is a glitch/crash fest)... If You like hunting, want a game where the animals will run from gunshots, or if they smell You up wind, or see You creeping up too near to them, etc. AND that's 100% fair about making/missing shots due to wind, NOT holding Your' breath, not aiming slightly up over LONG distances, etc. then this is for sure the hunting game to buy!

I got this game for free but i still felt entitled to something because of how awful this game is lmao.
The head bobbing gets me motion sick and the gun sounds and gunplay felt lackluster and underwhelming.
The animations, sound, and just general gameplay was all jank.

I am thehunter call of the wild game player, so let me say the followings points:

1- even with graphic set to epic, but trees and view still look bad.
2- I can't remap keys, every time I try to replace crouch from Ctrl to c, it just doesn't accept c without any error or something.
3- there is no option to toggle aim.
4- tracking system is not good.

that's why I decided to refund it.

sorry guys and I hope your hunter 2 is much better, especially the price.

Super fun game, best $40 i've ever spent. I've been playing it all week trying to figure out how this game is worth $40 yet the terrain is so plain and the running animation looks straight outta h1z1. Apart from the entire game being bad, the reload animation is pretty funny. would reccomend.

So, this company has come out with the new Hunting Simulator 2, however, based on how they abandoned this game without regard to players, I will not be buying the new one.

Don't get me wrong, Sim 1 has some decent moments but the bugs that were never addressed makes it pale in comparison to games like theHunter: Call of the Wild. If you are just getting into hunting games, CotW is the one you should grab. While it isn't perfect, there is much more to do and the graphics are very nice. Co-op is still something some good game developer should take advantage of in a realistic hunting game because nobody has yet to do it.

I realize this is a review of Hunting Simulator, but you can't help but compare it to other games in the genre. Some issues of this game is the horrible lighting. You can be walking during the brightest daylight, turn to one direction and it will appear to be midnight. And it's not as if my RTX 3070 SUPER is a horrible graphics card. There is also an issue of binding keys where you can't alter some of the binds. This is a deal breaker for me as I am left-handed and the default right-handed layout just doesn't work for me.

Even if you're willing to overlook the bugs and you're a Righty, you would still be better off getting CotW instead of this. For one, it is much less expensive and has a much larger player base.

I have this game on my XBox and now my PC. I prefer the PC as the controls are much smoother. I actually hit the animals 90 percent of the time with the PC version as opposed to the XBox which is about 20 percent. Graphics are excellent. It differs from TheHunter Call of the Wild as being a slower game in many ways. Missions in this game are hunting specific. You earn your way into different areas and also earn your way up in firearms and accessories.

Not bad at all. Got this on sale and it's not that different from the old hunting unlimited series. Not the amazing world that you get with Hunter Call of the Wild, but not bad. Very relaxing.

This has to be the most unstable game out there.. I've gone through a re-installl.. I keep getting the debugging error thing from the Unreal Engine ... tried playing offline.. and it simply freezes up... had I known it was plagued with such.. I would never considered buying it. Not satisfied with the game at all.. you'd have to pay me to try Hunting Sim 2 when it comes out.. this is crazy.

I purchased this game expecting a realistic hunting game, I was sadly disappointed.

Here is a list of things I do not like about this game.

1. Hills that are too steep to walk over, and require you to go around, even though you can see over the hump.
2. No way to tell the direction of the wind, with out playing a long time to unlock gear that may or may not work. It really should have a wind indicator.
3. Having to unlock everything in the game. I got this for the multi-player aspect but you have to unlock everything in game before you can really play with others.
4. The animals that you final see, will run at the slightest thing, even if you are sure you are sneaking and downwind. Not fun at all. I have gotten much closer to animals hunting in real life, with less work.
5. The way you can't keep your binos ready. I should be able to swap whats in my hand for rifle or binos.

I really can not recommend this game. If you want a good hunting game, go for The Hunter: Call of the wild.

This game gets a 1.5/5 from me ... it has nice gun control, swaying and such ... uhm ... decent gun graphics I guess ... it has multiplayer ... but yeah it sucks.

Let me start with the multiplayer, the main reason I got this was to play the game with my fiance but oh yeah you have everything unlocked in the multiplayer mode, meaning there is no challenge and no reason to play it. yay...

Secondly, you can't even walk up rocks or cliffs that the game deems as too steep, meaning you can't even get to most of the logical vantage points to get a better look and snipe the animals.

Thirdly ... the animals are far too scarce and take extremely long to track down and find, and the process isn't at all fun, a game needs to find that nice balance between fun and realism... and this sure didn't.

Fourth and final point, the game is extremely boring, I've played hunting games before that I thoroughly enjoyed and this game doesn't even come close to any of those experiences...

And as such I completely recommend against getting this game, even on the biggest discounts, I got the game for what would be 3 $ and I feel completely cheated out of my money due to how bad and boring the game is.

Rather play https://store.steampowered.com/app/293520/Carnivores_Dinosaur_Hunter_Reborn/ , it's a hunting game with dinosaurs, a bit more archaic but definitely more worth the money and an actual fun experience :P.

Hunting Simulator is a pretty good game. The problem is its complete lack of a tutorial or proper explanation of its mechanics. If you are coming from Call of the Wild or The Hunter, you may have a bit of a confusion. This game is a bit more arcadey, as the tracking system is trash and the call system is a bit iffy.

The seller here is the large variety of maps, animals, and weapons. Frankly, this game is more similar to the Hunting Unlimited series than CotW. Its actually quite good, I'd turn off bullet time, and focus on the hunt.

Many of the reviews are from the early days where it was bug-ridden. I havn't noticed a single bug, and animals seem to react realistically for me. Newbies who have zero knowledge of hunting, don't understand how TOUGH an animals head is. YES, YES IT CAN TAKE A .243 TO THE SKULL AND SHRUG IT OFF. WHAT DO YOU THINK ANTLERS ARE FOR!? FIGHTING. HEADBUTTING. Aim for the spot behind the front leg, where the lungs are. Watch how quickly things drop. (if you are using the proper calibre anyway. Round is too small it wont get between those ribs.

Anyway, I really like this game, and reccommend it on sale. Large variety of maps and animals. Its not perfect, but other than Call of the Wild, and Cabelas Pro Hunts, you don't have alot of options for hunting games. This game reminds me of Hunting Unlimited 2010. Its good stuff, grab it on sale, or at full price if you are a hunting enthusiast.

I've had zero performance issues on my GTX 970/ i5 6400

...it also has a recurve bow. ARE YOU LISTENING CALL OF THE WILD!? :|
