Thanks to the developer, I was able to solve the problem. Now for my review.
The DLC is different from the previous DLCs. It is a good implementation. The controls are exactly the same as in the main game. Only the workflow is a little different.

With 10 new jobs in total and beach-side based homes, this DLC offers up a lot of new sights in the game. It also gives the players a tight budget to work with, getting you to think carefully and creatively about each new job.
Some of the jobs in this DLC are among my favourites in the game overall, I wish we had more little twists like this,
such as finding a secret basement
because they’re a true delight and had me searching every nook and cranny in the rest of the homes I was in.
I also can’t imagine playing the base game without the Before and After comparisons anymore and consider this element pretty essential to the game in my opinion.
That said, it’s not compatible with the Garden DLC as you can’t use any of the outdoor tools but there are still weeds scattered about to pick up by hand which is a little annoying as by the point I had bought this DLC I was used to just mowing them all over at once but other than that I have no complaints.
The character models in this DLC are a little funny to look at but that’s entertaining in of itself and I had a lot of fun with this overall so I can absolutely see why some people may consider it the best one out so far. Definitely worth checking out if you’re a fan of the base game!

My reasons that i didn't like this dlc:
- Very poor transformations.
- Budget is always between 2-7k which makes all makeovers super limited.
- I feel i do always the same thing. Some colors in some walls, 2-3 new furnitures and thats it.
- Even the transformations don't make any sense to me. The number of the tiles and of the paint result a really bad finish on the walls.
I wish all the dlcs were like luxury one. It is by far my favorite. If you run out of jobs and you want more , just wait for this one to be in discount (3 euros or something) otherwise it is worth buying imo.

Beside of this, this dlc feels nice and it's good to be able to work with blank eyed and staring npc that let us choosing between two choices. I still lack of ideas sometimes but it's just be sucking hard.
New items are quite great (even if i prob have the whole workshop downloaded ngl). Wish we could have also the garden to do along the houses.
And more houses.

This DLC also said something about feedback from buyers and people you renovate for but Ive yet to see anything with that? You only get a few past and present swipes to show you your renovation and then youre done. I really enjoy those past and present ones, however and I almost wish that was base game rather than DLC. The new map and the new houses are lovely to look at and the fact that the game gives you options makes it so that you can play through the renovations more than once, which is a plus. But the fact that things dont feel coherent makes me feel kind of meh at the thought of doing it all over again.
I'd recommend this is you enjoy the base game and want some more side gigs, but if youre hoping for something more I'd gloss past it.

The only real slight against it is that I preferred Garden Flipper, which I consider fairly essential, so this a fairly glowing review. If you are wondering why, Garden Flipper unlocked the exterior of homes which felt like a necessary progression from the base game. Plus it was more integrated into the already established systems. HGTV is integrated, simply not as well, but again that separation makes sense considering what HGTV is.
All in all, a good buy, but not an essential purchase like Garden.

The HGTV DLC is worth a buy if you enjoy the base game. The new jobs provide early-game money without having to spend your own and the new houses were fun to work on afterwards.

That being said, this is the kind of content I really wanted out of this game. The budget restrictions are neat.

-New houses to explore and work with
-More jobs which is something the base game really needed improvement on(I'd prefer it to have endless jobs)
-Cool map of the new houses, this is more just something I think looks nice
-New furniture and items
Cons:
-The whole map isn't usable, like really guys what is the point if I can't renovate every house on that map
-HGTV NPCs, I just don't like them and could do without those two staring at me while I read the choices
-I can't mow the grass on these jobs, but I can pick the weeds by hand
Only thing I'd like to be changed is to let me renovate all the houses on the map. Why show them if I can't do anything with those. The last time I played was a few months ago so if updates were made since then to change some things or make some improvements I have not seen those yet. If you like House Flipper I would recommend you get this to extend out the world of flipping.

There is the nice addition of a mid century mod house, beachfront property and some new stylish items too. I feel it is a decent value for the money especially if you get it on sale.

I really like how beautiful the beach scene looks and the way they added the map to the new location. They added some decision-making to the builds that lets you choose between either of the spouse's preferences for how their house will look, which was a nice addition. Now the budget is affected when you renovate and they give you a certain amount to spend on everything for the job...I think before you were getting paid by the hour. I like that they added this because now you have to keep an eye out on your money and not go over the budget. The homes are really big and they look really nice after you renovate them, I can already imagine a lot of people taking lots of screenshots for Steam. They've also added that you can pick up 10 tiles at a time instead of just one, this stacking feature was a great quality of life improvement! I like how you see the before and after when you complete a renovation too. I also really like the new tiles, plants, flowers, decor, furniture, etc., it all looks really nice and you have so many extra options! I ended up moving my office to one of the beach houses because of how beautiful it looks outside and I wouldn't mind starting a new game in an area like that from the beginning.

I really didn't like that I couldn't paint the ceiling, it looks so weird because there were wall panels on the ceiling...as the ceiling. ??? So you could add ceiling trims, but why can't we paint the ceiling? I really hope that this is added in an update. Other than that though, there isn't anything else that I disliked about this DLC. Maybe that you can't actually go to the beach?...but that's just nitpicking honestly. I believe that House Flipper and both paid DLCs would be really fun for people who like renovating, cleaning, and gardening. It is a very relaxing experience at times and you get to fix things up how you picture it in your head, and maybe even get ideas or inspiration for your own house or apartment...or other interior design sim games.
One last thing I wanted to add; this game is not scary at all, but this thought popped up in my head more than once because one time while cleaning the windows I forgot that I left the door open and the music had some sound effect that made it seem like someone entered the house at night and was going to attack me while I was cleaning. That thought was of maybe adding some kind of scenario to House Flipper like that for a Halloween update. Like if it's night time while you're renovating and you have windows open or doors unlocked, it could trigger a kind of scary Halloween event or something. I don't know, just an idea...but that just shows how immersive House Flipper can be.

From start to finish will all achievements and 100% completion on every house this DLC took me around 2 hour and a half hours to complete. At 10 dollars I can't recommend it. I would say wait for a sale to actually buy this DLC.

There are also times when it will say: put up 15 tiles and paint 30 panels. You need to be exact and count before you put anything up, or you will end up with a wall and 2 little sections of that tile. It looks pretty bad and you can lose out on your budget, if you have to buy more supplies to try to fix it. Along those lines, the game will tell you to just put up 15 tiles. But the rest of the room won't match those tiles AT ALL. I guess I just have to wait until I am at the end of a job and make sure that I have the money to finish what was started, or let it look horrific.
I just finished a job where it told me I hadn't removed 2 objects, although that room was completely empty. Not a big deal for some people, but I like to 100% jobs.
I was really excited to see that there were albums kept of the house with before and after pictures. But some of them are at strange angles and one job had outside lighting so bad that I couldn't even see what I had done to the house.
I saw a review on here that said that this should have been part of the base game, and I have to agree with that. Will I play it, yeah, because I already own it. But I wouldn't buy it again, if I had the chance. Not unless they fix these problems. It's just so frustrating, because I've been waiting for this dlc for a long time. With these I guess I'm going to be throwing stuff in the houses to unlock them quickly and get the jobs over with.
