Entdecker-Outfit: Perfekt für jeden Abenteurer, den es nach fremden Ländern gelüstet. Das Entdecker-Outfit bringt seinem Träger Glück und Wohlstand. Das komplette Outfit enthält den Hut des Entdeckers, das Wams des Glücks, die Handschuhe des Handwerksmeisters und schwere Absatzstiefel.
Degen des Alchemisten: Gefertigt von einem der Meister-Alchemisten Al-Saads. Diese Klinge entzündet sich, wenn sie gezogen wird, und fügt schreckliche Wunden zu.

Ein heftig gutes Spiel, is echt lange her das mich ein spiel von Anfang an so gecatch hat.
Nur zu empfehlen. Hoffe das es bald einen weiteren Teil oder sogar nur ein DLC gibt.

Cool stuff for the begin of the game but you basically pay to support the developers.
Got it for free for pre-ordering the game but i wouldnt regret it if i had purchased that.

This DLC is good for giving you an edge early in the game. Sadly the DLC gear you get becomes obsolete and borderline useless the more you progress through Greedfall. It would've been perfect if the Adventurer's Gear could scale with your character or at least be up-gradable.

All in all. Buy it if it's on sale and/or you want give a tip to the Developers.

Don't worry if you're missing the hat when starting a new game, you will get it after you talked to your mother.

It's not in the gold edition, and it only gives you about 4 items that are just helpful for the early part of the game, not exactly overpowered.

I wasn't going to recommend it, but then I realised it gives you the goldsmith gloves, +1 to crafting. In a game with only 3 levels of most abilities, +1 is pretty useful, especially before you get the friendship bonuses from the other characters. If I didn't have to keep swapping the gloves in to craft, I'd probably pay double

(Although it is still bad that you have to pay to make the game less annoying to play, especially when there's a lot of things in the game that are annoying. A thumbs up for barely better than lootboxes.)

Not recommanded
These are very low level basic gears
Each piece of gear give a tiny bit of stat boost but that's about it
You can easily obtain gears with same level with first few hours in the game, with better upgrade potential
Only plus thing about this DLC is the gears looks good

I DO recommend this DLC to everyone because that is how De Sardet should start out as(moneyless, clueless Noble otherwise...wtf?), but the Thumbs Down is because it is a WRONG practice - to release such important items, easily game defining early on in a day 1 DLC for a few $$$.

It's not expensive and it is necessary, but it is also WRONG. Decide for yourself.

worth picking up if you basically want to give Spiders a tip. pretty much none of the weapons or armor included in this are very useful past the first few hours (they aren't customizable which is a pretty big hit against them), so this isn't really a Pay For An Advantage In A Singleplayer Game type thing. i will say, however, that the hat in this IS super useful. i'm still using it almost 20 hours into the game because +1 intuition is a really damn good buff and pretty much no other headgear actually improves an attribute. so i guess this is also worth picking up if you want a hat that makes you smarter

It's a fair price. The sword can be used for a little bit at the beggining but soon enough it's worth replacing. The gloves I kept on my character the whole playthrough to save me from wasting a stat point on crafting (as you only really craft at a workbench other than a couple of times in a mission so not too big a drag to just equip and unequip). The hat I wore the whole time, saved another stat point for intuition, looks pretty snazzy and doesn't have too bad an armour rating.

As for the rest of the stuff (if there is any) I don't remember, got rid of it fairly quickly.

If you got the money spare sure why not, you don't REALLY need this stuff, there is a lot of items in this game and I did find some gloves later on that had a crafting stat attached but hey, COOL HAT. ;)

I got this on sale for $2.00. The sword's elemental damage tears up everything. The rifle can be used before having rifle skill. The hat gives +1 intuition talent. The gloves give +1 crafting talent(Crafting allows you the ability to add +3 more talents). The shirt gives higher loot chance. The talents are huge advantage as you only get 1 talent every 4 levels. This DLC is a must have.

I thought the price was low and some of the items are neat. I am not selling off the outfit as it gives bonuses to some areas, like Intuition and Charisma. I am still in the first area but am enjoying the game so far.

You'll find or be able to buy better gear before leaving the first city. Maybe the coat is stylish, but as a magic user this DLC is completely worthless.

nope nope nope nope just nooope it's not worth 3£ shame on the i assume executives for making these shameful decisions basically trying the their hand at microtransactions, which could easily escalate to something more nefarious down the line in the future, just nope

I found the stats pluses are great for the first half of the game while you are leveling. It leaves room for points in other stats so you can max out overall more stats during the game giving you more options for completing the game with the least amount of loss in reputation. If you are doing a rogue or warrior you will need points in four and unless you do leveling grinding with out quests you will not get there.

I think the goodies from this DLC more than make up for the 3 dollar price.

The sword comes enhanced with elemental damage and does great damage throughout early to mid game. Considerably better than the weapons available early on.

The rifle can be used right off the bat without having the rifle skill unlocked. It's nothing special, but not bad either.

The clothing is where it shines. The hat gives +1 to intuition, which is useful to get some dialogue options without wasting a perk point. Honestly, it is one of the cooler hats available in the game and I found myself using it all game.

The gloves give +1 to crafting and help you get the maximum crafting level without wasting a perk point. Just like the hat. I held on to them for the entire game.

The doublet increases charisma by 1 and helps get higher success during coercion, persuasions, etc. Charisma also makes companions be more effective during combat. It's a great armor early game, but will get replaced mid to late game.

Overall, these tools help get a head start in the game and save some of the grind you may have undertaken to get the perk points to unlock these capabilities. I think it's fair that they are not given for free.

Honestly, other than the entry to the game, this equipment isn't anything special. Not worth 3$
I pre-purchased the game, that's how I know.
