In Grand Mountain Adventure: Wonderlands können Sie Skistationen und die umliegenden Berge frei und in Ihrem eigenen Tempo erkunden. Sehen Sie sich in aller Ruhe um, absolvieren Sie abwechslungsreiche und lohnende Herausforderungen oder treten Sie in Mehrspielerrennen gegen Ihre Freunde an.

Erkundung:
Steigen Sie auf Ihre Ski oder Ihr Snowboard und erkunden Sie 12 Open-World-Wintersportstationen. Entdecken Sie völlig unberührte Orte abseits der Pisten, von weitläufigen, naturnahen Wäldern bis hin zu den höchsten Felsgipfeln, von schwindelerregenden Hängen bis hin zu abgelegenen Dörfern.

Herausforderungen:
Nehmen Sie an Super-G-Slaloms, Slopestyle, Big Air und vielen weiteren Disziplinen teil. Oder suchen Sie verstecke Herausforderungen und geheime Pisten, wenn Sie Lust auf Abenteuer haben. Spüren Sie die zahlreichen sammelbaren Objekte auf!

Mehrspieler:
Spielen Sie den lokalen Mehrspielermodus für bis zu 4 Spieler. Erreichen Sie die Ziellinie und bringen Sie Ihre Freunde aus dem Konzept, indem Sie diese anrempeln oder sie mit Schneebällen bewerfen. Sie können auch gemeinsam mit ihnen das Gebirge erkunden.

ZEN-Modus:
Beim ZEN-Modus geht es darum, dass Sie sich eine ruhige und erholsame Zeit gönnen. Alle Herausforderungen,sammelbaren Objekte aus Prüfungen und selbst die NSC fallen weg, sodass Sie die Ruhe der Berge genießen können!

Grand Mountain Adventures: Wonderland ist kein Spiel, um vier oder fünf Stunden am Stück darin zu versinken, was das angeht, merkt man dem PC- und Switch-Debüt von Toppluva seinen Ursprung als Android- und iOS-Titel durchaus an. Aber an meinen allabendlichen Erkundungsfahrten, Bestzeit- und Highscorejagden hatte ich während meiner Testwoche eine Menge Spaß. Und ich werde auch danach garantiert in diese Winterwelt zurückkehren, selbst jetzt, da die kalte Jahreszeit in der realen Welt so langsam Schnee von gestern ist.

Dieses sympathische, keine nennenswerten Systemanforderungen stellende Spiel appelliert mit seinen Herausforderungen an euren Ehrgeiz und Sammeltrieb, ist aber noch stärker, wenn ihr es unabhängig und losgelöst davon spielt und einfach die Gipfel, Hänge, Wälder und vereisten Gewässer erkundet.

Es gibt viel zu entdecken in Grand Mountain Adventures, im Grunde jedoch ist der Weg das Ziel und dieser Weg fühlt sich manchmal beinahe wie echtes Skifahren oder Snowboarden an. Und das ist vermutlich das größte Kompliment, das man den Jungs von Toppluva machen kann.

Since my country does not have its own skis, boards, sleds and even snow, I was very pleased with the time spent in the game. It was like being on vacation.

wait for a sale, otherwise amazing game. my only problem is that you can't seem to remap controls without using the steam controller setup.

Good port of a great game. Enjoyed the shit out of the mobile version so this was a must grab.

ONE FLAW: Game speed is tied to the frame rate. An insanely stupid error making this only playable at 60. Not a deal breaker tho as this plays fine at 60. Would like to see this fixed.

EDIT: They fixed the frame rate thing. Onya devs ????.

You can't unlock ski passes in multiplayer. You can't do zen mode in multiplayer.

UPDATE:
Not a bad game. I only bought this to play local multiplayer with my father. Most of the content in the game is locked behind collecting ski passes. Since you can't collect ski passes in multiplayer we can't unlock content while playing the game together. If we could explore the mountain and collect the ski passes while playing together we would definitely play this. I don't have time to beat the game in single player just so I can play it the way I want to in multiplayer.

From the store page description, I took it to be possible to explore the mountain and its activities at your own pace, with friends in local multiplayer. The reality is: A limited set of competitions that you have previously unlocked in single player. If this was clearer in the games description I would not be here.

As to collecting ski passes in multiplayer being unfair: Unfair to who? Who am I competing against that would make this unfair? As far as I know, the only thing you unlock is access to maps / courses. There is no character progression or items that confer some form of advantage. We didn't play much so maybe I just didn't see that part of the game. Even if it did have progression based competitive multiplayer systems, how is it fair to gate all that content off, content already paid for, to players who just want to sit on the couch with friends and play the game?

Steam REALLY needs a neutral/info review type. This is not a bad game. In fact, I like it, as a single player game. I can't recommend it for multiplayer, which was how we wanted to play it.

I had originally played the Mobile version of the game and while I enjoyed it, this game can also be enjoyable. The touch controls on the mobile version make some of the challenges difficult but with controller input on Steam there so far has been no challenge on getting the gold rating.
Don't play the game expecting the game to be challenging but just a chill experience to be had of riding down the mountains and doing effortless flips, tricks and enjoying the terrain.
