Dieses neue Strategiespiel basiert auf der Spiel-Engine Unity und beinhaltet wunderschön dargestellte Charaktere und Landschaften, geschaffen von namhaften Künstlern.
Game of Thrones – Winter is Coming bietet den Spielern ein ausgewogenes Gleichgewicht aus Strategie und Rollenspiel für ein ausgezeichnetes Spielerlebnis. 1. Taucht ein in die Welt von Westeros
– Erlebt Westeros, wie Ihr es noch nie gesehen habt: Die Welt von Game of Thrones – Winter is Coming wurde anhand der Geografie von Westeros originalgetreu rekonstruiert und bietet alle Hauptschauplätze und Burgen aus der Serie. - Sitzt auf dem Eisernen Thron: Schließt Euch mit Freunden zusammen, stellt riesige Armeen auf und kämpft gegen rivalisierende Lords um das Schicksal von Westeros. 2. Kommandiert Eure Lieblingscharaktere

3. Erweitert Euer Territorium und erbaut Eure Stadt

Alle verfügen über ihre ganz eigenen Funktionen und Aufwertungen, die Euch dabei helfen, ein Königreich zu errichten. - Erkundet die riesige rekonstruierte Welt von Westeros. So also nach über 2000 Stunden Spielzeit bin ich nun gezwungen eine Warnung vor diesem Spiel auszusprechen. Das es das übliche Pay to win Spiel ist hoffentlich jedem klar, wenn du viel Geld reinsteckst kannst du so Leute wie mich die fast kein Geld reinstecken relativ schnell fertigmachen und das auch innerhalb von wenigen Spielstunden. Dies ist aber nicht der Grund für meine Negative Rezension wie gesagt das sollte jedem klar sein der so ein Spiel spielt nein jetzt ist mir was in der Spielmechanik aufgefallen, was eine schlechte Rezension und eine ganz klare Warnung vor dem Spiel mit sich zieht.
Man wird in dem Spiel vor jeder Kleinigkeit gefragt wollen sie es wirklich machen z.B. beim Ressourcen verschicken zu verbündeten Truppen versende um an Raubzügen teilzunehmen usw. aber wenn es an die Währung geht die man nur durch kaufen mit echt Geld erhalten kann hält man es nicht für nötig eine solche Abfrage einzuholen was bedeutet ihr könnt hier versehentlich etwas mit echtem Geld kaufen ohne das ihr dies wolltet und wenn man dann darauf aufmerksam macht wird man nur auf die Spielerichtlinien verwiesen wo dies so drinnen steht das man euch eiskalt beklaut das ist es zumindest in meinen Augen. Dieses Spiel ist also nur mit Absoluter Vorsicht zu genießen und eigentlich auch nur, wenn man in eine Gute Gilde kommt auf einer guten Welt und oder seeeehhhr viel Geld reinsteckt.

An und für sich ist es ein schönes Spiel, gerade auch für Fans der Geschichte.
Was mich stört, ist, dass man schon fast gezwungen ist/wird (ab dem Tutorial) in Allianzen einzutreten oder zu Käufen gedrängt werden soll. Das nimmt einem absolut (aus meiner Sicht) den Spaß am ganzen Spiel.
Pay-to-win ist an sich nix neues und auch nicht dramatisch, aber hier wird es extrem übertrieben.

Die Idee ist recht interessant aber da es immer noch wie ein klickklickKLICK - Browsergame aufgebaut ist kommt irgendwie nicht wirklich Spielspaß auf. Schade

Pay2Win at it's best. Yes, you can play the game for free, but the higher you advance it becomes almost impossible to NOT pay.

Just an example: some buildings need over 9 (nine!) days to complete! so wait or pay.

Also you HAVE to purchase ingame blue diamonds to continue playing. These you get from questing etc. (about 500 per day) and for upgrading high-level-buildings you need about 30K blue diamonds! (that means 60!!! days of gaming)

or you purchase purple diamonds for REAL cash and with that you can purchase the blue diamonds...

DO NOT BUY this if you are not willing to invest money to proceed.

Nach dem Hauptsinn, ein Klon wie immer.
Wer bezahlt und das immer der gewinnt solche Spiele gehören VERBOTEN !
Entweder das Spiel ist kostenlos oder nicht
aber ein Spiel das intern einen das Geld aus der Tasche ziehen ist nun mal nicht kostenlos.
Das Spiel verstößt gegen unlauteren Wettbewerb und gehört in dieser Form Verboten !

Super spiel aber besser finger weg lassen.
solange ihr geld investiert ist alles gut, aber wenn ihr ein problem habt und den support anschreibt kann es vorkommen das ihr monate wartet.

warte schon 2 monate auf eine lösung des problems, was wohl niemals passieren wird..

hat mit game of thrones reichlich wenig zu tun und ist eine lord mobile clone auserdem ist es ein reines cash to win game .... John snow kostet umgerechnet einen neten kleinwagen wenn mann ihn auf legänder haben möchte und selkbst als grau schon knapp 200 euro ^^ als spart euch das lieber

Das Spiel ist darauf ausgelegt echt Geld zu investieren. wirklich fehlerhafte server und game mechaniken.

Jeder bei Verstand sollte die Finger davon lassen. In Zahlen: ohne über 20.000 Euro in das Spiel zu stecken wird niemand annähernd in den TOP 100 mithalten können und andersrum zerstören grosse accounts alles was man frei aufgebaut hat in einem angriff.

z.b. ein Gold commander wie John Snow auf maximale stufe zu leveln musst du 6000 € ausgeben. es ist schlciht weg nicht möglich Ihn ohne Geld auszugeben auch nur freizuschalten.

Hier ist das Motto, ohne Moos Nix los und davon Reichlich, denken sich wohl die Hersteller, man kann die Stärksten Inhalte nur mit Echtgeld erwerben.
Beispiel: Ein Jon Schnee benötigt 10 Fragmente, um Freigeschaltet zu werden, 6 Fragmente Kosten Mit 30% Gutschein 70$ und damit nicht genug, jetzt braucht man, 20 Fragmente um Jon Schnee auf die Nächste Stufe zu heben, die Stufe danach braucht 50 Fragmente, dann 100 usw und damit das Ganze nicht zu Leicht wird, erhöht sich der Preis des Pakets bei jedem Kauf deutlich.
Sehr Schade das Fans der Serie, so Bodenlos Abgezockt werden.
Deswegen ein Klares, Lieber Finger weg und in den Urlaub fliegen, da spart man vielleicht noch was.

could be a fun game but its running very unstable (atleast via the steam client)
after a maintenance when you log back in the game will throw you out again after some time at random and then when you try to log back in get stuck at loading screen only on steam client tho not on the normal client/browser (which you cant use via steam....) very fun even more so when you bubble is about to run out and you cant reenable it
also yes its very p2w the good commanders (the ones you know from ther series with 1 exception) will require you to spend 200€ to unlock and then a few 1000€ more to upgrade same with the good dragon (the blue one who has the most skills and the best ones)
i could look past the p2w since its the new standard in games nowadays but the steam client version is just so damn unstable that i had to give a negative for this game

I love Game of Thrones, but this game is boring and bad. You can see purple pixels when you are in fights, that's funny at least. Don't play this, if you are a fan of the series, I dare you.

Just stay away from this heavily P2W game

As a F2P player, you won't likely won't stand a chance against any stronger players if attacked. Once you're off noob shield, you can be attacked by anybody no matter how powerful they are. Like being only 3 million Power or even 100k ingame, and attacked by a 13m+ Power or any higher player with a 150k-400k+ army, so you'll think you're strong enough to defend yourself as F2P, but you're really weak. The Power gap between a F2P and a paying player is massive even if you have played for months. There's no strategy in this game besides build your army, research and attack, slowly upgrade your commanders and dragon, do the Weirwood, gather resources, attack rebels, do the story quest that provides very little lore with no cut scenes or anything, just a battle and that's about it in this game lol

This is one of them games, where any player can teleport right next to your city or where your alliance hive is at, and practicality destroy everybody without much losses. Not only that, but they'll take a good chunk of your unprotected resources, all your Gold Dragons because you can't protect them until a much higher level, and now you can't rebuild your army because you have 0 gold unless you have spare resource items. A single player or a few can destroy 50+ players in a hive, destroying everybody's army, looting all goods and whatnot, then teleport back, it's pretty absurd. You pretty much cannot defend against them at all

You're stuck with 1 builder the whole entire game unless you cash out $10 for a 2nd builder, or $5 for 2nd temporary builder for a month. A lot of the events and pop-ups ingame require a good chunk of Black Diamonds (the ingame currency). Most of claim your free items lead to Black Diamond pages. Some commanders or probably a lot of them can only be unlocked with Black Diamonds AFAIK, and loads of it from what I can see. You want a nice suit of armor, or some event commanders and upgrade them to gold/legendary? Spend hundreds or thousands of $$$ just for that. Right now there's Seg the Giant on the BD page, but how do you get him? Pay Black Diamonds. Want Melisandre, Jon Snow, Leila, Daenerys Targaryen? Black Diamonds, and Daenerys Targaryen cost $100 USD for just 6 token/medals, but it requires 10 to unlock. Same thing for Jon Snow, so yeah... GL getting any of those heroes as F2P unless you have played for ages if they can even be unlocked as F2P.

And playing on Steam, you don't the same rewards as they do on GT, nor can you link your Steam account to get any of those rewards, so you get the basic free items. There's no point shop on Steam

There's other things to say about this game, but it does get pretty lame and dull, and spending money will make you very powerful, but there's always someone else who will spend more lol

Edit: So apparently the #2 guild on my server of probably mostly all P2W players sent my very weak guild a death threat message, claiming we attack their hives or whatever, but when I look in the logs, it's nothing of attacks by them against my guild, and they've been farming all weaker players since I started playing. Those guys are close to 1.7 billion total power with just 59 members, and we have 97 members, including me, for a total of 566 million power. There's literally nobody else on the server besides some 5 guilds, the rest are 1/100 member guilds

They've killed 294 million troops, while my guild of 97 memebers has only killed 1.3 million, so you could see how the top players are on a power trip farming everybody on the server since I started playing this game lol

If you're F2P, you should just STAY AWAY from this game, this game is very disappointing, favors P2W players heavily, and it's a waste of time constantly rebuilding. Super strong players (40+ million Power) teleport right on top of you once your shield wears off, then rotate, attacking the next player with their 300k+ army.

If you're a big GoT fan, you could try it out, but when the attacks and micro transactions pop-ups come... you'll be looking at this game like o_O. Eventually you'll be farmed and wiped out by the strongest players when they notice you, sending 300k-450k+ troops at you. The walls do nothing (it gets instantly destroyed) when defending, your troops do nothing because P2W players always have better and P2W heroes, they have the latest tier units and far much better researches than you in the 200% - 400% or higher range

absolute p2w if you want to have fun. you need 500+ days(500x24 hours, yes) to complete a research in late-game.... but don't worry, you can spend between 1 and 1000$ in-game with a single click.

As soon as your server gets opened up to the wider world the game becomes unplayable (after about first 50 days). Is it extremely unbalanced with high level players that either spent thousands or developed an account for more than 1 yr plus able to port in and obliterate whole alliances. One large player can dominate the entire server of hundreds of new players.

Unfortunately- this game has failed to capitalize on it's biggest strength - community. The chat and messaging functionality in the game is terrible, the events are so far apart and infrequent that the teams that want to play for events fall apart, the PvP of this game is trash as well. If you forget to bubble and your server is invaded, you will lose months of building up and the resources required to build up take months to acquire. On top of this, if you want to rebuild quickly, if you want good commanders to fight in PvP, if you want any chance of succeeding at all - you must pay to win.

There are also far too many instances of the game developers manipulating my account personally and other players accounts as well.

I've put in thousands of hours into this game and the only part I don't regret is the friends I made. Otherwise, I wasted hours building up my account for literally nothing. I got zeroed by an invading alliance after forgetting a bubble (shield) after 3 months of religiously putting one on every night and having assigned protectors as well. I lost millions of power because they gang bang you until you have nothing left and they are encouraged to do so to big players especially so they will spend more.

Not spending anything more on this game as they don't improve it and they make it more of a spenders game and less about the community daily. 10/10 does NOT recommend even picking up this game.

Keep getting hit by higher level players no chance of fighting back 57 hours just gone the game is pointless playing or is it just a stunt by the devs to make people pay to play? 79 hours in and lost all my army and am not building it back up this time am done I will be removing this game from my Steam.

The game includes a good number of the central characters. That is not the issue. Where the issue comes in is to unlock some of them you will pay the cost of a NEW AAA title game plus 2 expansion packs for 6 medals, and it requires 10 medals to unlock the character. Getting the character to a level (color) that is useful requires doing that multitudinous times. Under no circumstances should a game require you spend thousands upon thousands of dollars to acquire game characters.

Even though this game has a lot of fun features, and is very addicting, it is, and in a VERY high degree, pay to win. not just get ahead, pay to win. This game was fun, right up until my first KVK. The rules said that any troops lost would be restored in full the following day. I didn't bubble before going to bed, to wake up and find out that my 1.5 million troops had been killed off, whilst I was sleeping. I waited until the next day and they weren't restored. I wrote to customer support providing them with screenshots taken during the KVK that showed these rules. They pretended that there were different rules in place and that the screenshot wasn't taken during the KVK and refused to restore the troops, nor did they offer anything else to make up for the ambiguity/deception in the rules.

REALLY DECEPTIVE WAY TO RUN THE GAME, WHICH LEFT AN EXCEPTIONALLY BAD TASTE IN MY MOUTH AND WHILST I HAD BEEN HAVING A FUN TIME PLAYING PREVIOUSLY, I REFUSE TO SUPPORT GAME DEVELOPERS THAT ACT IN THIS WAY, ESPECIALLY IN A PAY TO PLAY GAME.

WON'T BE PLAYING AGAIN!

This is a copy+paste version of a typical empire building mobile game, but with a Game of Thrones skin and music, as well as very pretty artworks. These types of mobile games don't really have a gameplay; the only fun you can squeeze out of it is, as per usual, when you are in a group (Alliance, Guild, etc) - but playing with a group will make anything appear fun, even boring stuff. This game has microtransactions. There's a lot of hand holding early on. A lot of actions are time locked meaning that unless you are willing to pay, you have to wait. It's everything I hate wrapped up in a single game.

With good friends, it's a bearable game. played well over a year on their launcher, but it's going downhill fast now. Reporting issues is met by bots replying it's under investigation, using an in-game mechanic may get the dev's call you a cheater and see you punished plus an urgent update, even though it was reported a year previous and not fixed. Most bug reports will either be ignored or called visual glitches (don't play this if you like to trust info on screen, nearly every issue I had with values on screen being wrong was deemed a visual glitch, and support's advice is to refresh or reinstall on virtually every report)
TLDR: if you have friends playing this, it's ok to keep playing, if not, steer clear from this increasingly sinking trash-barge

Review after 600+hrs of gameplay.
I was looking for Game of Thrones characters from the series , but very disappointed.
Only several appearances, not story related.
Game play is very similar to other online game : base-building, resource management , troops building to beat others,
Players need to pay again and again to get higher position.
After I reached maximum level 60 of this game. I found nothing interest, just another pay-2-win online game.

There are many similar games for mobile, this one is just branded for Game of Thrones and your PC. This account was for one of my alts. You will need many alts. You will need to be in a top alliance. Do not play this game. Game devs will take away earned items in game at a whim because players find creative ways to work together that reduce the amount they spend on Pay-to-win packs. Player cooperation should be rewarded, not punished - but the developers are all about the bottom line, and not about encouraging a healthy community.

I've spent the biggest part of last year playing this game, building, upgrading etc. I can honestly say - this game is by far one of the worst when it comes to forcing people to pay in order to, not only win, but to play as well. The game requires you to spend far too much time clicking around and playing it in order to advance at a relatively reasonable speed. However, after you grind and build and research and get stronger, you come to realise that all that time was wasted, because every part of this game is and was, and always will be, very strongly tipped to P2W side. Items in this game ARE NOT cheap. If you think you'll spend a few bucks here or there and you'll be set - this isn't the game for you... Overall, after playing it for so long, I can honestly say it's a rather boring game, but most ppl stay cause of people they've met playing. One more thing to note is their customer service, which is by far the worst I've ever seen in any game. So long story short:
1. It requires far too much involvement;
2. You can't advance fast unless you spend A LOT OF MONEY;
3. Even if you've spend a bit of cash, you'll very quickly realise that you need to spend a hell of a lot more in order to come close to even being able to compete;
4. Most ppl get bored and quit before they manage to achieve anything of substance, cause if you don't pay you'll be stuck trying to advance for a straight year and you'll still be at the bottom of the barrel- no joke.

The mechanics are similar to that of Farmville lol. So if you want to click here, click there, set up your army to train or gather resources outside your city, then this is the game for you. Come back in a few hours to check on their progress. Also, get in a big and strong alliance, and the chat with the members becomes really pleasant :)

if you are going to try it out do it though the the Gtarchade website as there is a few seconds delay in the steam version
Yes is Pay to Win but you can play a role within the game that can be played free to play or with buying just a few castle skins and marching skins

Don't bother. The game rewards players who are predators. They can and will port their city around and just farm lower levels. Soldiers aren't quick to train, so if you get annihilated by a higher player it will take a really really long time to recover. If pvp was optional it would be nice for those that don't want to take part in the pvp aspect of the game, at least not while they're trying to get started.

great game but i do not like the in app purchases i like the style and strategy and in app is great since it is a free to play game. i just wish there was a version of the game we could buy that we didnt have to use in app purchasing and were able to get access to things.

I like building and upgrading my own version of Westeros. The battle sequences aren't too difficult but that's ok with me. I guess the one thing I don't like is the in-game purchases to advance. While you can advance without them it appears it will take a very long time. So I will probably play it a very long time since I have never paid for in-game offers in any past games I have played. Overall I enjoy it.

Humans love power. It's genetically engraved into our brains.
This game takes advantage of that, forcing you to spend money to get power. You want to rise above your allies and rivals as quickly as possible so you have no choice but to spend just a little bit to speed up your process... the a little more... and more until you realize that your spending does nothing. If you want to reach the top you'll have to spend thousands of dollars and thousands of hours.

I accumulated over 600 hrs in less than a month, and spent over $800 without realizing it until looking at the totals. Everyone who has played this game knows that it's pay to win. These type of games are never worth the money, or the time. I recommend, you don't play.

Although i would recommend playing this game if your into r2 type games you have to understand this IS a r2 type game and thus cashers win every time. The time limits are probably one of the worst things about it. It can take a week or more to complete a building even at low levels. Now there is ways to greatly reduce that time, but not enough unless you want to spend 18 hours a day playing the game or spend 100's of dollars a week on a game. That being said if you can get in early on a new kingdom you can have a enjoyable time with you alliance taking on the world of GOT.(just don't take it too seriously like some do)

Having played over 200 games I say to you fellow gamers:

Do not play this crap!
It is basically putting in USD to see your power go up.
Once you spend and see your power go up a bit, you realise there is nothing to do
Events are only to use your consumables so you have to spend more to replenish!
Don't fall on the trap, plenty of games to play.
This is not a game, is a casino where you can only lose,
It puzzles me how steam hosts this scam!

Was excited to try to play this game but it's just shit. It contains the worst traits of mobile phone games and browser games. Its an HBO licensed game and I expected so much better. I get it, it's nice looking, but that doesn't make it a good game. Maybe I'm old, but I prefer a normal straight up purchase of a full game rather than downloading a free game with a million options for micro-transactions. Waste of time.

This game is a great Game of Thrones game. In that it starts off with a lot of promise, leaves you waiting... and waiting for years and by then end you've bought a ton of stuff you don't need, subscribed to a bunch of things you don't need and are just left disappointed and wanting the creators to suffer a horrible fate. That said, this is a great game for people who suck at games, but are good at spending money. If this describes you, prepare to be very good at this game.

It's just a Game of War clone. Better production quality, and has the convenience of giving you a $1000USD option, for those times you want to spend all your money but aren't happy with the measly $100USD increments other games offer...

So yeah. I'm sure buried under colossal debt you might be able to find some enjoyment here.

This game uses fraudulent means to deduct money from the paying customers.

For example:

The in game currency are the black diamonds, players pay real money for BD.

There is a feature called merchant ship. There you can exchange free resources, ex 500k wood for 200k iron.

Sometimes, randomly, another button spawns underneath this resource exchange button - identical placement. This button offers a surprise box (filled with absolute garbage) and it costs black diamonds.

When the game lags, it conveniently clicks both buttons and STEALS your black diamonds aka subtracts the cost of this worthless box claiming that you've purchased it.

When the game did this to me, I made screenshots and sent them to customer support and asked to either give me an item I had originally intended to buy with those BD or to return my BD. I've been told that my request will be forwarded. Three weeks later I made an inquiry and got another useless reply that since this BD deduction had occurred through my own action (that button wasn't even visible when I supposedly clicked it) it is highly unlikely that I will be refunded and again gave me bs speech that they'll forward my request - another words they will NEVER give me back my money.

Furthermore, when I complained to my alliance about this incident - I have received a response that other alliance members have had exactly the same incident with this ship and some more than once.

This merchant ship has been out for a while and the game has been stealing money from their paying players through it continuously. I imagine they've had a lot of these incidents and never fixed it because they're making profit from these 'accidents' awfully often.

p.s. I use browser, so, don't mind 11min mark, I had played many, many hours.

This is oldschool like browser strategy game with pretty graphics, but everything you do in-game is just asking for your wallet. It's just mad that there is a person here with 1500 hours in-game with positive review for this handholding none gameplay trash.

Update: Person that I was talking about currently has 2000 hours and seems like legit account lol.

I don't get why this is on steam. first of al its a browser game.
on the second hand this is a free to watch your city get trampled game, 100% a pay to win game.
I've played a game exactly like this so i quitted.
I estimate it will cost you 50 bucks each month to get by and around +100 to compete at the events.

Worst Game Ever to Play on the Computer by Far. Greedy Developers who do Nothing but Demand Money to Play. They Cater to the Credit Card Warriors and if You are not willing to Spend $1,000's of Dollars on the Game, You are not worth their Time. The Game if Filled with Glitches, where Truces Drop before their Time, Game Freezing, Items on the Map Disappearing or Simple not there. If You do have an Issue with Your Game, forget getting Help, the Customer Support is Horrendous, You can Expect a Week to hear back from them if You are able to Submit a Ticket, Sometimes You can't do that. They always say that what happened is Your Fault and refuse to do anything to help. They are Constantly adding New Features and Events to the Game that cause the Game to Mess up and instead of Fixing the Issues they already have in the Game, they just want You to Buy what they have to offer. The Construction and Research Times are Insane, like 180+ Days Long Insane, and AGAIN, the only way to Complete them in a Timely Manner is to Purchase Speed Up Packs. And just to be able to get to those Researches all the Construction in the Game has to be at Level 25 and You can expect to Spend Hundreds of Thousands Blue Diamonds, which again You do get in the Game, but to speed up the Process You can Buy Them at a Crazy Cost. If You start the Game, don't exceed Castle Level 5 without deciding which Kingdom You want to be in. If Your Castle reaches Level 5 You are Stuck in whatever Kingdom You have started in without Spending Money to move to another Kingdom.

Game controls extremely poor and unresponsive. UI appauling, most of my 75 hours was waiting for upgrades to be honest so didn't play that much.... as a score it's probably a 1 because of the GoT branding o/w would be a 0.

I played this extensively when it first came out as a desktop/mobile app. I ran my own top-K6 alliance, and I can tell you three things:

1) It's highly addictive, but not in a good way. You'll find yourself time-sinking 6+ hours a day on this. Goodbye productivity.
2) They entice you with 'specials' to pay for much needed heroes & packs. But be warned, this is for the 'standard level' only and the next pack to upgrade it to the next level will cost double - so on and so forth. To get a top level hero, you'd have spent about USD250. It's literally a trap!
3) No matter how much time you put in, or how good you are, unless you are willing to spend thousands of USD you'll never be able to win against the whales that play this. Their advertising system matches that of a gambling addict, and that's how they getchya!

Here's the problem: it's kinda fun to play, and satisfying to watch your city grow. So if you want to play, then play, but please please don't get sucked in to spending money as it's a dark and treacherous road that only leads to regret.

[Overall]: Hoping this message saves a few people from a world of hurt. Here I am wasting time building my bloody city again DAMN IT but I 100% wont be investing any cash into this again. You've been warned ;)

Just another clone under a GOT theme.
A classic P2W real time strategy board game. Absolutely NOT the best out there, rather clumsy attempt at it to be frank.

Nothing is new, took concept from all correct mobile game of that genre and mashed them together with the GOT theme. A real disappointment.

really sad to see this game failed to such of a degree, i know royalities cost a lot, but charging 100$ for a castle skin is outrageous, not to mention having the balls to put a 1000$ pack in the vip store clearly this is a game for the rich and dumb.
i kinda wish it was more accessible and turn out to be a success and maybe provide some dividends to the actors and the team behind Game of Thrones the movie but as i see it right now the greed of the devs keep this game for the exclusive bunch that have 1000$ a month to spend in this game.
also the forced down the throat tutorial offers whatever are the reason i stopped playing before first hour.

GoTWiC is one hell of a game. Is it good? Somewhat good I guess. But what good qualities does it even have? Its repetitive, Massively pay to win and ingame purchases are fu**ing crazy ripoffs, terrible resource system, and the overall gameplay isnt that interesting anyway. So what does GoTWiC even have to offer? Honestly, it has absolutely nothing. Its an absolutely terrible game, that displays no unique or intersting game options whatsoever. It has the usual mobile functions where you at the start has so many resources that you cannot count, builds extremely fast and are loaded with diamonds, or at least you think so. You quickly realize the whole game is one huge cash machine. After at least 30 hours of gameplay you have to pay to do basically anything. At least if you want to keep up and grow with everyone else. I dont like paying to grow, but I have to admit I did spend a few bucks on this joke of a game. Yet I did not even reach more than 25 million even after 100+ hours of gameplay. This game is a challenge in growing if you dont want to spend 500 dollars +. The game is literally so full of stupid shit, the toilet is jealous. So why have I spent so much of my very precious corona quarantine time on this game? Simply one thing: the community. While you would think the game is just about raiding and attacking, its primary focuses lies on the alliance aspect of the game. If you dont join an alliance, its barely possible to play this game. Thats why the best thing to do is join the most powerful alliance, or you will literally fail. And I actually like that. You join an alliance, probably dont know anyone, get new friends, fight together in Kingdom versus Kingdom, generally just enjoys a good chat now and then. Its actually really, really fun and the only thing that kept me to this game the whole time, was the alliance aspect of the game.

So my final opinion, do I recommend this game? Well, the short answer is no, its really not worth your time. But I wouldnt object. In any way. But before you decide to download and play this horrific thing called GoTWiC which they actually dare call a 'game', you have to understand that if you want to play seriously, you HAVE to pay at least a few bucks. Its all about P2W and no one can deny it. Its a huge ripoff tho, so dont spend too much valuable money and ESPECIALLY not too much of your valuable TIME on this idiotic game. Just dont. But yes, overall, dont recommend it.

This game has no end, no winner. No matter how much you work at it, there is always someone else that is willing to spend tones of money on upgrades so you can't match with them. You have to login every day to keep your stuff and put truce bubbles up to keep players from killing you and taking your stuff. If you want a time waster that can be fun go for it, if you have lots of money you want to spend, go for it, if not stay far far away!

If you like repetitive gaming, building up and then see it all taken by higher level players (who just are longer in the game) ... this is the game for you!

There is no match making, higher level players destroy this game for the new people, they keep on raiding your city and take your gathered resources ... not to mention that it takes unbelievable lot resources to heal your soldiers ...

Not worth my time anymore, it can be addictive at first, but as soon as your city comes in the view of those high level bastards, nothing you can do ... and oh i forgot, to get the nice characters, you need to pay a lot of money (real money, not in game ... )

So, glad I finally quit this game!

I've tried this game before on my phone. I was hoping that something changed.

This game is basically pay-to-win and tries to make as much money as possible.
At first it is kind of fun and you are surprised by the similarities to the series but then everything is time-gated unless you pay money.
Players who do spend money on the game get stronger very fast and you have no chance to defend yourself against them.

This game feels like one of the dozen smartphone apps who use the same base-mechanics.
Total waste of time - even for GoT-Fans!

Typical time based game like Travian or Vikings, combat is mostly automated/numbers crunch, i.e., there's no actual skill involved unless you count being able to click buttons faster than others. Simple rock-paper-scissors formula for troop types, only 4 troop types, sound cuts in and out or sometimes doesn't start. There are number ratios that are expressed backwards, like this building construction will take 384k/1066 iron or gold or whatever, when they really mean it will take 1066 of your 384k iron or gold or whatever. There are misspelled words aplenty, poor grammar, and a bunch of other things common to the game genre that make it puke-worthy. Nothing to see here, move along. It's not a real game.

•Playing it on steam puts you in huge disadvantage compared to those who played it in GTarcade platform. GTarc get more benefits and free stuff. This game is a heavy pay to win.
•All of the benefits need to be payed with real cash. Lots of RNG with very low % of winning. Roullette, Lootbox, Raffle, etc. The raffle is not limited to your server but across 150 servers, so being F2P has zero chance of winning
•Battle system is too simple compared to its predecessors, classic travian or tribal wars. It lacks complexity of units on strengths and weaknesses, it only has 4 choices of units which can be upgraded to 4 tiers that can take months to upgrade unless you are pay to win.
•Units and the base can be equipped with pay to win, time limited skin that gives OP boosts.
•Does not have an ending. It has world wonder mechanic, but game does not end there, it goes on until it bores you.
Everything is controlled by real money except dragon growth

The game is pay to win, yes. But you can still have fun playing it for free. For fans and lovers of Game of Thrones, I would recommend this game.

If you do not love or haven't even heard of Game of Thrones, then I would still recommend this game if you like multiplayer and strategy/base building type of games

I would advise strong caution to you about whether you should spend money on this game. It's so easy to spend money on games like this that suck you in with 'special' promotions. Do not fall for this marketing trick. The packs are not special, and they are offered to everybody.

I am happy to spend money on this game and to support the developer, but I will only spend money within reason. Some of the players with the most power on this game have spent more than $250,000 and a lot of players have spent more than $10,000.

I feel it's important to state that just so you know that if you spend say $250 thinking you will be a big fish, then you won't. If you want to be the very best of the best on this game, you would need to spend AT LEAST $20,000. And as a player and a supporter of this game, I feel duty-bound to report that fact to you.

In conclusion: Play this game if you love Game of Thrones, but do not break the bank to be the best player on the game, because you won't be the best, you'll still be just a small fish. That is just the sad reality of life, a small minority of people have way too much money, and the rest do not. The difference in wealth is all too relevant in this game, where the biggest wallets bully the players who do not spend money, or don't have much to spend...

Exactly like an old browser game I played in 2000s, with castles and time syncs exactly same only difference is this one is much more theme based, heroes/dragons were added lord ranks/ bandits.

Forgot the name of old castle game but unit building / castle upgrades extra exact same deal the layout a bit different but so similar I imagine this is the same game since time syncs matched only got licencing from HBO for GOT. Great adaptation.

The exponential curve of time syncs with buildings / research / troops gets extreme especial post lvl 10 on all things. You find at that point logging in for only 1/2 hr or less to do moves (such as building 8 hrs - 2 days) or if your a gambler personality buying crystals.

For most people after ~16 hrs they will have no more bells and whistles to keep you going.

For addictive personalities you can keep clicking around to get you playing everyday for about 30 minutes each day without spending money but micromanaging your clicks logging in every 4 hrs or so. Chatting with friends via email then logging off. I am in this camp.

The graphics are what you expect for a browser game then they add in events like any addict they send you just enough to keep you hooked. Being a browser base interface protocol you could play this on about any PC that is hooked to internet and of course never have to worry about your gramma's PC not having enough power to run it.

The game is ok total pay to win.
Use the steam version!!!!

Unfortunately the direct play version is spy ware.
GTarcade is the client for GoT and will try and install PuP a few days after installation.
It also is a key logger and direct monitor.

My security has blocked direct monitor and keyboard access
that tried to start up about every 15 min
Now I get automated calls to my mobile from the far east.

Asian f2p have always been super greedy but this one goes way beyond that
every thing in the game is there to make you click the wrong thing and use any precious special items you have
in the hope you'll pay RL cash to replace them
Just a non stop barrage of cheap nasty tricks to try and rip you off
Needless to say it's a whale game , if you're not dropping at least $300 in the first mth then forget it

Very time consuming. It is possible to gain and be a part of a decent alliance team without spending serious cash but it's hours of grinding and patience as you work to get up your tier levels and Castle area. Not too bad so far. I'll update as I get further along. A nice way to kill time.
