Aber willkommen erstmal in unserem kleinen, ganz persönlichen Vault. Kommen Sie rein und gönnen Sie sich etwas Ruhe, ich weiß, wie aufreibend so eine Reise durchs ungastliche Ödland sein kann. Aber Sie haben es lebend bis hierher geschafft, jetzt wird alles gut werden.
Wenn Sie wollen, bleiben Sie ruhig eine Weile und wenns Ihnen gut gefällt bei uns, dann bleiben Sie doch einfach etwas länger. Oder für immer. Wir haben ohnehin gerade richtig viel Zuwachs in unserer kleinen Gemeinschaft bekommen.
Alles wurde ein wenig chaotisch, aber wir habens hingekriegt.
Wissen Sie, wir hatten uns im Grunde alles ganz gut eingerichtet, einen kleinen Generator ans Netz gebracht, ein Diner und eine Wasserpumpe versorgten uns mit dem Nötigsten. Wir hatten Barracken und Lager, alles in allem konnten wir uns wirklich nicht beschweren.
Sogar ein wenig Forschung betrieben wir, unsere Fahrstühle standen nie still und schwere Vault Tüten schützen uns gegen Mutanten und Raider.
Und dann, vor etwa einem Monat, kam der Zuwachs. Das war natürlich alles nicht geplant, aber ich frage Sie: Wenn an ihrer Tür plötzlich eine kleine Schar Kinder stünde, ausgemergelt und heruntergekommen, hätten Sie das Herz, die einfach fortzuschicken?
Wir hatten es nicht, die Kids mussten irgendwie bei uns unterkommen, siebzehn neue Mäuler zu stopfen, uns ging ganz schön die Muffe, ob es am Ende für uns alle noch reichen würde. Aber uns blieb keine Wahl, der Vater tot, die Mutter im Knast, den armen Gestalten war nichts erspart geblieben. Typischer Fall von häuslicher Gewalt und am Ende lag der Vater tot in der Küche, das Messer im Rücken und die Frau die Täterin. Muss wohl durchgedreht sein, oder so...
Aber seis drum, wir päppelten die Bande erstmal ordentlich auf und siehe da, die Älteren legten gleich los, wie die Feuerwehr. Die waren wohl ein hartes Mittelalterleben gewohnt mit Kinderarbeit und allem drum und dran, eine Schande, sag ich Ihnen. Aber die helfenden Hände konnten wir gut brauchen und zack zack! Schon ploppten die neuen Wohnbereiche nur so aus dem Boden. Oder vielmehr in den Boden hinein, ist ja schließlich ein Vault hier...
Diner und Wasserpumpe wurde flugs erweitert, der Generator bekam einen Extraraum und auch die Lager wurden aufgefüllt.
Und dann gings los mit den Expeditionen, Flinten und Westen wurden ausgeteilt und ab gings nach draußen ins Ödland. Eine Red Rocket Station fanden wir als erstes, da herrschte schlimmer Rad-Kakerlakenbefall, aber wir pusteten die Viecher weg und schnappten uns die satte Beute. Herrlich war das, es wurde geschlemmt und wir schwammen plötzlich in Kronkorken.
Und so gings weiter, wir forschten und looteten wie verrückt und wie sie sehen, lohnt sich sowas dann ja auch. Wir schwelgen im Luxus. So gut gings uns nicht immer, aber mit Glück und Ellbogenschmalz ist unser Vault jetzt Home und Castle zugleich. Wir sind auch ein klein wenig stolz drauf.
Und wir planen schon die nächsten Umbauten. aber ruhen Sie sich erstmal noch ein Weilchen aus. Und wenn sie bleiben wollen, gerne. Wir können ein paar fleißige Hände immer brauchen...
Tja, lieber Leser. So kanns gehen, aus dem Settlement Survival direkt ins Vault. Ein ziemlicher Sprung, aber Hauptsache, es geht erstmal allen gut, oder?
Und Du kannst Dir natürlich auch ein Vault zulegen, noch ohne Kinderschar, aber vielleicht vermehren sich Deine Bewohner ja auch von alleine. Also gönn Dir ne Runde gratis Aufbauspaß und setz immer schön einen Raum neben den anderen, bis alles vollgebaut ist und Du heillos verloren bist im Gewusel. Und nach ner Weile sieht man wirklich kaum noch durch, bei all den kleinen Gestalten, die durch den Bunker flitzen. Der Wuselfaktor ist durchaus beachtlich, die 17 Kids sind also gut aufgehoben, sind ja schließlich Profi Wusler, das liegt ihnen praktisch im Pixelblut.
Und Du hast Dir ja sicher den Trailer angeschaut, grafisch triffts den Fallout Stil schon ganz gut, der Sound ist natürlich über jeden Zweifel erhaben. Wenn die Vaulttür ächzend aufschwingt, weiß man gleich, dass man Zuhause ist.
Und ja, es ist Free to Play und ja, es gibt Echtgeld Käufe. Braucht man aber nicht, wer will schon bei nem Spiel, wos um Aufbau geht, schummeln und dann viel zu flott alles fertig haben?
Also klick ne Runde drauflos, kost´ ja nix und ich wünsch Dir wie immer...

Da ab und an auch mal Probleme entstehen die zu lösen sind!
Das Spiel ist nicht Kompliziert aber Basiert Manchmal auf glück !
Mann muss aber trotzdem wissen was man macht ;)
um zu überleben! deshalb viel Spaß glück und Erfolg im Shelter !

A microtransaction store hidden behind a game
If this was a $20 full game to buy that would have been great. Instead, it is a free game designed to sell you random worthless junk that masquerades as useful items. This is a classic example of creating problems to sell solutions.
Not to mention the UI isn't very smooth either. You can't even auto un/equip your dwellers, which means a disturbing amount of clicking to give guns each time you rush different rooms and get attacked by raiders.
You know what's the worst? When you want to rush a room and then arm your dwellers if the rush fails. If they are injured you need to use a stim-pack first... I mean, come on. The whole game is designed to waste your time in a parasitic predatory manner, making you feel the pressure to spend real money to speed this tedious experience up.
I had SO MUCH FUN playing quests. Only to do a few and then be stone walled from doing more. Real life hours to travel to the quest, log out, login, do the quest, real life hours to travel home, log out, login later, collect items. What a chore. No real game does this. This is not a game. This is a time wasting machine that wants to sell you time saving items.
I wanted to play this game and every time I get on I get to do things for 30 seconds-5 minutes and then that's about it.
Play any further and you'll be punished by the game.
It is a very frustrating trickling water style experience, which greatly encourages spending real money to make things go faster. This, of course, is a trash way to play a game.
I feel sorry for the addicts this game reeled in that spent thousands on cola. Truly depressing when you think about it.
What the absolute f*%k is Bethesda doing to such an awesome franchise? Between this, TES Blades and FO76 the whole lot may aswell be dead. They do not care about your deeply invested interest in the Fallout or TES universes, they only care about sucking money from your wallets. It is utterly depressing because if they gave us actual games people would spend so much more and not be disillusioned about Bethesda's crap marketing.
Fallout Shelter is not a game.

- The quests you send dwellers on are cute and I like that you unlock all kinds of things from them
- The different characters, outfits and themes are all fun
- Loot boxes are fun and have a good amount of loot inside which you can earn by completing objectives or buy
- You can jump in for a quick check up or stay a while and watch the vault dwellers roam while you earn caps from the mysterious stranger and other visitors
Not your typical cheap tower building game, has good depth and keeps it fun to come back.

Calm and simple game . whenever i was bored i was used to play this game . It has a simple thing to do , Do task , produce food , water , electricity and protect your shelter . But in the quiz they ask questions that i never heard , i think to answer that quiz you have to be some knowladge of other fallout games
But sometimes game wipes your all saves . so you have to start it all again
i can give 8 scores out of 10 :)

No fun! Basic game with ridiculous micromanagement.
No challenge! Well, waiting hours for something to happen is a challenge but that's not the kind of challenge I want in a game.

Unfortunately it has a very high longevity in the short term but almost absent in the long term.
Being very intuitive at the beginning it totally captures you and you are busy for hours and hours managing the cave, mentally planning the location of the environments, choosing the most suitable tasks for each of the survivors, but in the long run it becomes very repetitive and since they are not required special skills to move forward, all you need to do is level up to keep up with the growing strength of the enemies storming the base. If you have time to wait (or Nuka-Cola bonus bottles) you can play the missions, where you just have to click on the rooms and watch almost helplessly the clashes between your three men chosen for the mission and the various enemies you encounter. These missions are very useful in the beginning for obtaining powerful weapons and clothes, but later on the relative importance of these loot decreases tediously.
Technically, with mouse and keyboard the typical gaps of a touch game are accused. For example, you feel the lack of a multiple selection, because you are forced to drag men from room to room by taking them one at a time. It would have been practical to be able to manage survivors by being able to organize them into numbered groups that could be saved and recalled directly with the push of a button, as it works in hundreds of games simpler than this.
Nonetheless, it is an interesting strategy management game from which something deeper could be developed.

Sometimes the game doesn't load at all.
And when you have an infestation and tell those with guns to go fight, they just run between rooms then stand there looking at you in random room, and other characters will run into the room to take their job (no idea why as I've not touched their room) but they don't have a gun so also run around and look at you.
So you get more damage for longer, and infestation spreading because the controls for the characters seems to go out the window during an infestation.
No idea what's causing that but its annoying.
The game itself is ok but its a buggy mess and I can't fully relax when playing because of it.

This game still is pretty solid and is still enjoyable but sadly it became to boring...
Now it's one of those games which you only would play for only half an hour every two weeks, nevertheless I still recommend it!

A Good Mobile Port from my Beloved universe:
Fallout Shelter is a free to play game where you are an overseer tasked with building and maintaining a vault in a post-apocalyptic nuclear wasteland.
Gameplay:
Game is a mobile port. It is a 2-D game. it consists of building a vault and keeping vault dwellers happy by providing food, water and electricity. The game is of 2 parts vault building and doing quests. each quest has time to complete like any other free to play game. You send dwellers out for doing quest The quest takes place in outside vaults mostly in a procedurally developed vaults. The ultimate aim in this game is to keep your dwellers happy and equipping and training them to be best. As it is a free to play game, everything in this game is time bound. So to speed things up we need lunchboxes[spoiler] [other name for lootboxes to evade gambling accusation :) ] [/spoiler]. This is the micro-transaction part which most free to play games employ to generate revenue. But gotta give credit to them for employing in a fair manner. You can get atleast 3 (or more depending on your luck) of these lunchboxes per week for free. So those who wait can get everything in this game if you are willing to trade your time.
Atmosphere and Story:
The world is ravaged by nuclear fire and many people enter into vaults to survive. With this premise most of the time we will be looking at the vaults from a 2-D point of view and managing it. While doing quest its is of same with dwellers arriving at different procedurally developed vaults to do pre-destined quests. For a 2-d free to play game, the music is good.
Other features:
This game has no DLC's or multiplayer content. This is a purely single player game.
Conclusion:
This is one of the good free to play game. If you are a fallout fan then you must play it. Others who are new to this series should give it a try. You don't need to know anything about fallout to play this game. The micro-transaction part is also well done. But there are some achievements in game that will definitely require to open those lunchboxes to get it. So achievement hunters beware, if you are not spending any money it may takes months to get those achievements[spoiler] (Play mobile version before to get to know the game if you are achievement hunting to optimise your time and gameplay) [/spoiler]. Overall it is a good game that everyone must give it a try.

At first, this is quite a fun simulator / strategy game, but after about 20 hours of playing, nothing new can be seen here and there is nothing to do in it. It takes too long to wait for the villagers to run on a mission, return from a mission, learn, make a new costume or weapon. And the whole gameplay goes down to the fact that you enter once a day, do tasks, send new inhabitants on tasks, collect resources and leave until the next day. Now I have 113 villagers out of 200 with a happiness level of 84% and I don't think that I will open this game again

(Still recommend it, because the game is well made and it can be ok for someone to go in it for 15 minutes a day)

Ultimately it's a clash of clans / typical f2p model reskin where they block progression using timers and then set a paywall for removing the timers.
The art and anthill management is cool and faithful to fallout, for that reason it's worth checking out for the first 4 hours of gameplay.
I would recommend not to sink too much of your attention into this for fear of wasting your money.

- Incident statistics is totally off. If you model the chance of incident as a random event, you will figure out immediately that the people, who was responsible for that feature, got a F in their statistics class.
- Object interaction is flawed and imprecise - people feel very sticky when you have a well developed and populated bunker, that every time you try to scroll, you actually get a dweller dragged around. Drop in over another room, and dwellers in start swapping their positions. Not all mouse clicks are correctly registered accurately, and that depends on the projection, e.g. your current point of view. In addition, mouse position offset is confusing and requires weird position when you want to place a dweller in a room, oftentimes resulting in placing the former at the incorrect one.
- Not everything from the game mechanics is obvious. Hints may reveal how some things work, others are a total history. You cannot see how much HP a dweller has.
- Lack of balance of incidents/enemies, and it is difficult to understand what makes them stronger, e.g. if you have a single dweller with very high level, and that determines how difficult the game becomes, there are cases where a single incident way wipe your bunker off. Say goodbye to long playing hours and money spent on that bunker, unless you spend more real money to buy caps and revive your fallen dwellers, but you will have a hard time getting the bunker back in balance.
All in all, the game is pretty nice in the early hours of gameplay. The more you expand, the more obvious it becomes to see how many things are messed up. As this game comes with the standard microtransaction model, the idea might be that Bathesda makes a quick buck, then gently makes you walk away.
The game has been available also for mobile devices for several years now, and it's a shame that all these nasty issues have never been addressed.

While this game won't be for everyone, it will be very entertaining to some. It's like having your own Vault full of little human ants/super soldiers you are training to progress in the game. Great game to check in on between a busy schedule or in between other games. You can pass anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour+ during each sitting.
The main downfall of this game, is the rate at which Legendary Dwellers are dropped, for those trying to get 100% Achievements. My first month, of 70 Hours, I had 9/20 Legendary Dwellers. 0 the next month, and finally, whoop de doo, my 10th Legendary Dweller the month after.
There are In Game Purchases of A Starter Pack, Bottles, Lunch Boxes, Pets and Mr. Handys. However, Legendary Dwellers only come at a rate of 50-60 Lunch Boxes, which will take you like 1000 Hours, or $100+, which is unjustified.
That being said, this is a great game to check out, but don't bother working towards the Legendary Dweller Achievement, or you'll be saying to yourself, 'Go on Quest. Find Treasure. Repeat.'

Quest update makes end-game more interesting to play and most importantly, getting Caps, Lunchbox, sometimes Pet as a rare rewards.
Vault is generally fun to manage but comes with some major complains:
1) HP is not retroactive, which means dwellers obtained from lunchboxes are generally useless because their HP stats cannot be maxed well. HP is very very important in late game quests because high level quest's enemies are very deadly, as well as frequent Deathclaw/Radscorpion attack. So if the dwellers are not grown from level 1 with at least 15 Endurance (which is the most efficient way to get by crafting +5 E Sturdy Wasteland Gear and max train Endurance on level 1 dwellers before leveling), the Overseer is gonna have a rough time.
2) Without Mr.Handy, Electric is gonna drain at a heavy rate despite having a lot of generators. But Food and Water aren't.
3) Low tier production rooms are generally useless after unlocking new ones.
4) Lunchboxes rewards does not scale with the progression in Vault. In short, crappy rewards most of the time. Also issue (1). Not recommend to buy via cash.
5) Can't sell specific amount of items, only can sell 1 by 1 or sell all.
6) Overseer have to plan well on room layout, because Dwellers will not go interact incident on an empty room, even they are on same level. Nor there is an option to have emergency/security team (in which according to Fallout Lore, they do have various management team). Vault door only can have 2 dwellers to guard instead of 4, which is not good.
