Edge of Twilight ist ein Third Person Action Adventure, das in einer Postapokalyptischen Welt angesiedelt ist. In dieser Welt, sollen die einzelnen Realms in Tag und Nacht unterteilt sein.

Hellayem, die geteilte Welt. Aufgespalten in ein Reich des Tages und ein Reich der Nacht, wird das Land von zwei großen Kulturen bevölkert: die technisch begabten Athern und die spirituellen Lithern. Monströse Maschinen und brutale Stärke herrscht im Reich des Tages, Magie und mystische Kräfte bevölkern die Gefilde der Nacht.

In einer Schlacht um eine beträchtliche Energiequelle wurden die Lithern Opfer eines Völkermordes, ausgeführt von den Athern. Vermutlich überlebte kein Lithern.

In dieser post-apokalyptischen Welt mimt der Spieler die Rolle von Lex, einem Kopfgeldjäger. Lex ist das einzige lebende Halbblut in der Welt, was ihm die Fähigkeit gibt, zwischen dem Tages- und Nachtreich zu reisen. Diese Fähigkeit wird die einzige Möglichkeit sein, die Welt davor zu bewahren, in der ewigen Finsternis zu versinken.

Das Grundprinzip ist sehr cool tolle Welt tolle Stadt aber gameplay und Steuerung sowie storytelling... Eine Katastrophe weiss nicht ob ich was falsche gemacht habe oder das Spiel aber für mich keine Kaufempfehlung leider weil ich grundtenor in einer steam punk Welt echt begrüße

Haltet euch von diesem Spiel fern! So was ist mir schon seid Jahren nicht mehr untergekommen!

Finger weg von diesem Spiel!!! es ist völlig verbuggt, Glitches und Animationsfreezes ohne Ende. Der Bossfight gegen den Riesenaffen ist aufgrund dieser Fehler nicht oder so gut wie nicht gewinnbar. Dazu noch eine nicht-konfigurierbare, völlig unlogische und komplizierte Steuerung und die Kamera ist ein absoluter Graus (springt ständig hin- und her ohne Sinn und Verstand und tötet damit die Übersicht (v.a. in den Bossfights) komplett. Die stimmige Steam-Punk-Welt ist ja ganz hübsch und auch die Story ist recht vielsagend inszeniert, allerdings nützt das nichts, wenn so gut wie nichts erklärt wird und auch nicht klar wird, warum wir etwas tun sollen. Dazu kommt noch eine gruselige Übersetzung ins Deutsche, die oft unfreiwillig komisch wirkt. Zudem sieht es so aus, als ob sich der Entwickler schon lange von dem Projekt verabschiedet hat, der letzte Eintrag im Forum stamm von Ende 2018. Somit ist auch an Patches, die die gröbsten Fehler ausmerzen könnten nicht mehr zu denken
Ne, ne lieber Entwickler, das war wohl nichts. Wird umgehend wieder deinstalliert, bevor ich meinen Controller aus lauter Frust an die Wand pfeffere!

Ich dachte ja, es wäre ein bisschen Steampunk-Geschnetzeltes drin...aber, neee.
Steuerung und Kameraführung sind einfach nur katastrophal.
Fazit: Schrott. Stay away.

Das ist doch nicht ernst gemeint. Hat das eigentlich einer der Entwickler vorher mal gespielt?
Was eine Schrott Steuerung, bzw. Kameraführung.
Totaler Rotz.

This game is broken/incomplete.
As a Steampunk lover, I love the art in this game. The enviornment, characters, and clothing in this game encompasses everything Steampunk.
What SUCKS is the gameplay. The camera jumps around on you unexpectedly and there is very little direction in the game. Also there are some bugs with the boss fight were you cannot doge projectiles because thier invisible (when they're not supposed to).
Overall DO NOT GET THIS GAME.

i have never wrote a negative review for a game, i love most games and even some known to be not so good i can find enjoyment with most. However, there are two reasons for this negative review and they are very strong unfortunately. First, i'm afraid this game feels like a scam of some sort. I saw it and liked what i saw, i felt the price was adequate for it and it was in promotion so i bought it. Big mistake. The game is full of gliches and bugs that severely hinder gameplay to the point of making it broken. I tried my best to overlook those and just focus on what i liked and the reason i bought it in the first place. Steampunk world and story. However after struggling against all the game breaking obstacles i was faced with (this is the reason i seem to have that many hours of play, in reality, it was mostly reloading and trying to overcome the bugs and gliches in truth there is not much of game content here to justify the time i have spent with it) i reach a point in the game that shows me i have an incomplete game!!

I went back to the steam page and what i find is the developer saying that this is only part of the game and the rest of the game will unlock if we buy the ultimate super collectors edition...

What is this? I was shocked! There was nothing warning me about anything like this on the steam page for the game! Is this the state we're in now?! Shady tactics to force consumers to pay for a game twice?!! One for a demo and then a second one for the real game?!! A paywall for a broken mess of a game at that! No, i wont do that for any game.

Now i have noticed the developer added a comment about it on the steam page claiming it's going to be an episodic game but that wasn't there when i first bought it. It was added because some users commented that he, the developer, could get in trouble if he did not warn people properly. I wasn't warned, i wasn't informed. It was concealed from me at the time of buying, I want a refund because i would not have bought this game had i known it would be sold in such terms.
