Etwas altbacken aber durchaus gut, die Grafik ist erstaunlich erträglich und es ist ein simpler, seichter Zeitvertreib.

Dangueons and Dragons Daggerdale war das erstse PC RPG welches ich jemals gespielt habe. ALso habe ich keine bombastische Grafik, keine riesige offene Spielwelt oder ähnliches erwartet. Wenn man so etwas nötig hat okay aber sonst finde ich das SPiel ganz gut gelungen ist heute aber natürlich nicht mehr auf Höhe der Zeit. Dennoch ist es nicht so schlecht wie die meisten hier behaupten.

Was die Entwickler mit der Lizenz von WotC gemacht haben - keine Ahnung, aber das Spiel ist wahrlich grausam...

Nur mit Hilfe der Foren und dem Editor von Windows konnte ich die Bildschirmauflösung auf 1920 x 1080 anpassen, im Spielmenü war das nicht möglich. Die Tastaturbelegung soll laut Spiel auch veränderbar sein, aber auch das geht nicht...

Die Kamera ist schrecklich und irgendie habe ich auch keinen Ton....schade, Daggerdale hätte ich mich storytechnisch interessiert...

Every time I save my game to ensure I retain my progress/inventory, if I die to an overpowered NPC the game auto restarts *befre* the beginning of the mission/level and all my save points are USELESS. It's incredibly frustrating and I cannot figure out if the SAVE GAME option is a joke or broken.

I'm sure this boat has sailed, but the glitch at the end WHERE YOU CAN'T FINISH THE GAME really irritated me. Otherwise, it was a fun game!

Though not the best RPGs for sure but it is definitely one of the shortest RPGs I have ever played. I will put my feedback really simple in terms of pros and cons but yeah, pros definitely outweighs the cons of the game and though starting is bit slow and combat is not that fun, it actually gets entertaining in the later parts of the game when the enemies start to vary a lot from goblins to skeletons to crazy dwarfs and ghost like blue-colored creatures that will literally leave your head spin. There are only 4 chapters in the game with each spanned across some quests you have to complete in order to proceed to next chapter. Also, the most disappointing thing is that the game says it can be played in co-op but it requires you to sign-in to GameSpy account which as we all know is dead for decade. So, keep the game limited to solo for now. Don't expect that co-op-ish and friends playing together thing. Ok. Fine. Now, initial 2 chapters are bit boring as the quests and the combat is quite repetitive with nearly same kinds of enemies but thenceforth , game actually gets interesting. Just like a movie which starts boring but you never give hope and remain till end to find that it actually managed to satiate your desire for entertainment with a nerve-wracking backbone story. And the boss fight is one of the most memorable boss fights I will remember which is a giant dragon and trust me, you will love that part. Ahh, but yeah, the NPCs are actually cool but they just Hmm the dialogues rather than saying out loud. I found this a bit weird as it didn't really blend into the game. And yeah, most of the game took place in the same dungeon-like setting with minimal change in the background environment but still , for a short game, this short open worlded dungeon setting is pretty straightforward and acceptable. I will certainly recommend this game especially for any RPG lover and kindly, don't get disheartened or slagged off during initial run of the game . Stick to it, complete quests , slash some goblins and I am certain, you will not want to leave the story dangling in the dungeons rather you will feel tightly-gripped to the game with underlying suspense of the gruesomely entertaining end-fight that beholds . A short RPG Masterpiece that fits perfectly into Dungeons & Dragons Franchise.

If you're looking for a D&D game, this isn't it.
If you're looking for a fun way to kill some time, playing a game that kinda resembles the OLD Basic D&D from the late 70s, you might enjoy this.
Race and class are tied together. (If you want to play and Elf, you're an archer, etc...)
The whole game can be beaten in 20 hours or less. Two player mode is fun, if you can find anyone else who still plays. The item enchantments are interesting. And once you've hit level cap, and equipped yourself with decent gear, you can pretty much roflstomp everything in the game, including the final boss.
My only complaint is that the last stage of the final boss is nothing but a bunch of quicktime events.

Its a loot game.
So many wonderful weapons accessories and gear.
Mysteries strategies and discoveries.
A lot more could have been done to vary the appearance of your character some items don't display properly maybe that's been addressed.
graphically a bit dated but overall its replayable.

This game is legitimately terrible. Textures refuse to apply to certain items, the camera is awful, and in 15 hours of playing there has been 1 boss fight. The combat is Diablo-esque, if it was boring and completely lacked depth and customization. There is virtually no role-playing or character customization, you have to choose from the 4 pregenerated race/class combos, and the quests get immediately repetitive.
10/10, great with friends.

It's a nice adventure. Dwarfs, goblins, good story. If you like AD&D then I'm sure you'll like messing around with this game too. have fun!

Looking for a good RPG? Don't buy this.

Looking for a game to sink at least 20-40 hours into? Don't buy this.

Looking for a game that's fun? Don't buy this.

Dungeons and Dragons: Daggerdale is such a BORING, and SHORT game. There's no character creation. There's only 3 classes. Customization is almost non-existant.

I bought this game back when it came out, played through the entire campaign in less than 9 hours. Would have been less than that if I hadn't be looking for things that didn't exist.

I tried to like this. Back then the only Dungeons and Dragons games I knew were either the first or second Baldur's Gate games, and the Neverwinter Nights game. The whole thing seemed so rushed and horrid that it became a pain just to play the thing. I simply went back to playing the other three games and hoped that an actual decent game from the series will come about.

When this game was released, it was well below the norm. Basically it was a worse version of Demon Stone, another Forgotten Realms game with similar gameplay. If you're playing this today however, you know you're playing an old game and your expectations about graphics, voice (non-existent other than grunts in this game) and gameplay mechanics are lower than someone playing a brand new one. Just pretend this was a game from 2003 instead of 2013 and you will have a nice 6-10 hours of gameplay.

I am thoroughly a D&D fan. However, this is so bad, I can't degrade the name and call it D&D. Someone must have had to turn out a game just to meet some contract. This is probably the 2nd or 3rd worse game in my entire huge Steam collection.
