Diluvion 1.2 Beta has been updated with lots of goodies - we're now at version 1.2.16. If you're new to Diluvion, 1.2 is a version we've been working on to improve the game's core mechanics. You can find instructions for how to opt in here.
New stuff:
- Sunken Coast added
- New landmark system(Fjords Landmarks only - more coming soon)
- Many many new sound effects
- Re-factored loot panel, added 'swap' option
- Officers will return upgrades now when leaving your crew
- Sonar - Ping will reveal if a target is friendly or hostile, and will react to quest waypoints
- Added keyboard navigation (arrow keys) to main menu, sub selection
- Added weapon swapping HUD (press I or O to swap)
Bug fixes:
- Fixed Home Base
- Fixed inventory positions in Glaciem VI and Mariana subs
- Dock icon properly displays when something's been docked to
- Fixed - attempting to view interior while docked to an air capsule freezes game
- Fixed text for pollen valley quest
- Fixed 'Ice Cutaway' graphic
- Fixed Kat's positioning in Bounty Jail
- Save files now display correct information
- Fixed loading music
- Fixed - escape, re-enter battle with hazard breaks the hazard
- Fixed - merchants restock during transaction with player
Known issues:
- Performance slowly degrades over longer play sessions. We're still figuring this one out. As a temporary fix, exit and re-open after saving.
- Bug with quitting to menu
- DLC ships will not load. If you see a 'blank' sub (with no equipment) in ship selection scene, this is a result of the game mis-reading DLC data. Don't switch to it
What's Next
Our next development session will be focused on improving the feel of combat, and getting files from previous versions of the game to load without issue into 1.2. As always, we'll be fixing any major bugs that come up in the forum.
