For one, the PS3 version is the definitive version of the game with many improvements which I will mention later.
This game had so much potential but unfortunately, it just comes off as rushed halfway.
Only 3 cars out of 8 are customizable, and they have some cars shown in the concept art that don't appear in the game at all. The races are too easy and the car collisions are really bad, you'll ram some cars at full speed and they would BARELY get any damage.
The zombies don't even fight back! They only do that when you are stationary, which never happens unless you are afk and forgot to press the pause button. The PS3 version (Armageddon Riders) does make them attack back however, though not much it would have made Clutch have more personality.
Zombies themselves aren't varied and all die from a simple tap, so it just comes off as a really bad version of Carmageddon.
The story is meh and honestly very badly translated. The map is also very forgettable.
If you would like to play Clutch, try to buy the PS3 version (Armageddon Riders) which fixes a lot of the problems, though even then I wouldn't recommend it.

Now I sure do love me some oldies from the early days, don't get me wrong, but even the nostalgia factor can't defeat the fact these kind of games don't live up to modern standarts.
Clutch (also known as Armageddon Riders) is an arcade racing wannabe with a strong Carmageddon vibes all over it. Although it's simplistic nature - you race around collecting colored upgrades for money, nitro and even weapons, smash'n'drive through plethora of brainless zedies and finishing pretty simple racing missions a-la NFSU2 (even open world reminisce the latter) - it can't offer much more. As soon as you play Clutch for an hour and grind for car upgrades you eventually end up bored with obesity and monotonous nature of this game. Everything it tries to do Carmageddon did it much better.
And I know Clutch was made by a russian developer team back in 2009 (had been playing it then for some bizarre period of time). But even then you could find other mindless racing titles a-like (Zombie Driver, DIPRIP or even Carmageddon TDR2000) and it would be more fun.
The music is another subject I want to point out: it's trash. As far as I remember I was playing the game with it tuned off, better off launch Winamp or some other player that you have with your own choice of tunes.
P.S.: the game doesn't support Dualshock 4 natively even after installing DS4Win or changing Steam Controller Layout so the gamepad could be used as an Xbox ones - it only imitates keyboard usage.

The game has a very good arcade driving controls similar to Need for Speed (as in easy to hop in, but takes a bit of training to master), it has a World map that you can drive around between missions which is similar to the classic NFS system since Underground 2, the world is post apocalyptic and it has zombies that you can smash on the road with your car as well as classic search and destroy missions like Carmagedon, and you can even participate in arena deathmatch like in Flat-out.
This game would be a CLASSIC if only it had two more things present:
1. Multiplayer to enjoy the carnage with your friends, or race each other or wreck each other in Destrucion Derby.
2. Replay system - one of the best thing in Carmagedon or early NFS games was the replay system. Sometimes during the race, some crazy random sh*t happens, a situation that is either so hilarious or so awesome that you would want to watch it again in slow motion or frame by frame.
A good replay system that would allow you to do that and record your replays and share, along with multiplayer would make this game an awesome game that I would pay 20$ without hesitation.
If I was a publisher I wouldve bought this game IP and make a remaster with those 2 things. Believe me, it would be epic.

Positives:
Good graphics quality. Really good I guess for the time of the release, no worse than in more recent Carmageddon: Reincarnation
Fun physics
Nice maps with destructive elements and stuff like ramps or tunnels to perform stunts
Cars eating zombies
Cars setting zombies on fire
Cars getting energy from eating and dismembering zombies for a nitro boost
You get to race and eat zombies with your car inside the Large Hadron Collider
Game-appropriate music that goes well with munching zombies at high speed and wrecking opponents
Negatives:
An incredibly stupid lore that is hybrid of partially being ripped off S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and adapted to the Cern environment. Serioulsy, if you are trying to get people to play who know what the LHC is, it would be better if you worked more on the lore.
Very small selection of cars
Campaign's plot is far below average, if the game took itself less seriously, the plot would have been more appropriate.
Colours in most places are far less vivid than in Carmageddon and for the amount of nonsense lore the game has, it takes itself too seriously. If it had more of Carmageddon's senseless fun, it would have been better.
Overall, I would recommend to buy this game if you like killing zombies with cars and getting bonuses for that. But maybe better to buy this when on sale.

I bought it some time ago during a Steam sale and definitely got my monies worth. It has the usual racing modes you would expect from an arcade style racer and the zombie infested cities give it a nice twist. Sometimes it can be fun to kill a bit of time ignoring the races and just running down zombies while testing new car upgrades.

The gameplay got extreamly repetitive fast. I'd say the company ave it a fair crack as it looks quite nice but....It's quite Boring.
Worth a shot to waste some time if you have nothing better to do but I couldnt recomend it as a game saddly.
Still I will point out that I loved the look of the veichles upgrades and cars
